DESCRIPTION
The Ultrawave Jamming Array is a powerful communications Array that uses propagating signals to blind sensors and communications equipment. Based on the Hyperwave Jammer used by the Intergalactic Banking Clan's Munificent-class Star Frigates during the clone wars, the powerful communications system gave the IGBC it's own private faster than light communications network as well as worked to jam a target's own communications and sensors. While it's main use is to block a target's ability to call for help or communicate with allied ships nearby, the Array also worked to blind a vessels sensors with massive fields of static.

This system has been studied and re-engineered by the technicians at Mon Calamari Shipyards and worked into a modernized powerful Electronic warfare or EWAR weapon system. Streamlining the techniques used to block transmissions and boosting the power to accommodate for modern starship warfare. The new Tsunami-class Jammer is a powerful system designed for EWAR ships produced by MCS

The Weapon achieves its intended effect by Pulse Wave Induction, which is the application of pulsed direct current on banks of parallel matched Inductors. Each inductor emits a wide band of frequencies based on its inductance frequency. Each pulse of voltage, upon increasing and decreasing, sweeps the output of the individual inductors over a wide band centered on each inductor's Inductance Frequency. The pulse starts below the central frequency sweeping to its apex then back down as the direct current voltage is pulsed through them. Multiple coils or inductors are installed in the array giving the weapon total coverage of all high to ultra high band frequencies.

This Induction Wave reaction blankets a targeted area with very powerful wide frequency static. Each individual blast lasts only a few seconds then dissipates rapidly before the next wave of static hits. Utilizing a switching regulator, the continued pulsing of direct current voltage creates a ripple that resonates throughout the targeted area of space like a wave, constantly blasting sensors and communications equipment with blinding static.

To protect itself from its own effects the MC1007 utilizes a series of high-powered diodes that block any of the powerful blasts, from traveling back into the transmission loop of the weapon. These diodes shunt any incoming energy into a block of hi yield capacitors where it can be dissipated back into space as ionized particles.

Plainly put this weapon system does not block transmissions it just blinds the reception of the receiver from the outside by flooding them with every frequency at once. It also has no effect on intense light beams.
