His mother ran spice for offworld buyers, his father gambled until there was nothing left to lose but the family name. By sixteen, Tsiflam was fighting in pit rings for food money and reputation and he was good at it.
When a smuggler named Garo Thesk offered him passage to Nar Shaddaa, he took it. Tsiflam worked as muscle for Hutt enforcers and debt brokers, learning the rhythms of intimidation and collection. He became a known face in the mid-level districts reliable, ruthless, forgettable enough to live another day.
His real rise began after a near-fatal job went wrong. Ambushed by bounty hunters, Tsiflam was left half-dead in a scrapyard where he found the dismembered remains of an IG-88 assassin droid. He saw opportunity in ruin. With money scraped together from blackmail and blood, he paid a back-alley cyberdoc to graft the machine's torso into his spine. The surgery nearly killed him, but when he woke, Halfjack's cold optics were already online.
Together, they became something new a man who never had to watch his back again.
Now, he serves as a freelance collector and fixer for Port Nowhere's shadow magistrate called Yasuo Sinjin , cleaning up debts, silencing witnesses, and finding anyone who owes the wrong kind of people.
