Jawa Scrap Armor under his robes
Bounding Boots
Anti-Gravity Belt (for transporting bounties)
Stun Cuffs (for securing bounties)
Multi-Tool (for 'fixing' things)
Grappling Glove
Quality Jawa Ion Rifle

Nackhawn Custom-built Starfighter

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Tryk is a somewhat atypical Jawa in his willingness to engage in a dangerous career outside of the scavenging trade. He is filled with pain at the loss of his clan, and this grief has driven him to risk much more than a Jawa would normally be comfortable with. He is not filled with bloodlust, and prefers to take targets out without killing them. But neither is he squeamish about killing when it is called for. He desires friendships and even romance, but does not know how to approach these objectives.

STRENGTHS

Quick - Moves like a frightened mouse.
Stealthy - Steps as lightly as a field mouse.
Fierce - Fights like a cornered mouse.
Brave - He has lost so much, he acts like someone with little left to lose.
Clever - Like most jawas, Tryk is good with salvage, engineering, and tinkering with electro-mechanical devices.
Skilled Pilot - Tryk is not a professionally trained pilot, but has learned to fly a starfighter as well as any Academy graduate.
Accurate - Tryk was always a good shot. Now he can do more with that skill than disable droids.

WEAKNESSES

Not very Strong - I mean, maybe he's strong for a Jawa, but he's not strong compared to you.
Not very Big - Sometimes finds equipment and vehicles not designed (or re-designed) for Jawas to be cumbersome to use.
I'm Serious, I Swear - Because he's a Jawa, people often don't take him seriously.

HISTORY

Tryk was an expert Droid hunter on Tatooine, part of the Zhot clan, and he lived pretty happily with his family in a large Sand Crawler. But unfortunately, his clan 'salvaged' some droids and other goods that belonged to a local Hutt Crime Lord. The Hutt sent some of his men to take vengeance upon the Jawas who dared to take his goods. Tryk was out droid hunting at the time. When he returned, he found the sand crawler destroyed and his whole clan wiped out.

He was shattered and filled with rage. When he finished burying his clan mates, he began a long campaign of harassment against the Hutt Crime Lord's operation, sabotaging tech, disabling vehicles, and performing petty thievery. Along the way, he was forced to learn to fight real fights, as the Hutt's men did not hesitate to shoot to kill. It was luck at first that allowed Tryk to survive. But gradually, skill replaced luck as the young Jawa learned from trial and error.

Eventually, the situation on Tatooine became too hot for him to remain. He stowed away on a freighter leaving from Mos Eisley, and when he was discovered he was taken in as the ship's unofficial mascot. His engineering skills soon made him valued for more than that, and the crew began teaching him to do other things aboard ship. Over the next two years, Tryk learned to perform gunnery, move cargo, and pilot a starship.

When the ship stopped at Arvala-7, Tryk took his pay and disembarked, hoping to connect with a Jawa clan that lived on that world. But he found he had little in common with them. He had been changed by his experiences. He spent his money to buy junk ship parts and over time he was able to cobble together a primitive starfighter. This starfighter would be upgraded over the next year to become Nackhawn, named after a famously ugly bird.

The starfighter brought more employment prospects, and soon Tryk was registered with the Bounty Hunting Guild. He's had some early successes. Enough to keep his ship in good repair and food in his belly, at any rate.
