LFG Trying to gauge interest...

Hello, Friends!

I don't like to speak ill but I think we can all acknowledge that the GA is going to be going minor very soon. To be clear, I think that is a good thing. Ideas (that's really what Chaos can be boiled down to) do not last forever. They inspire, they thrive and ultimately, they fizzle out. That does not mean that their legacy has to go with them.

What I am proposing is for the remnants of the GA to evolve into something new, ideally over time. I laid out the majority of my concept here. I call it the Yavin Alliance, inspired both by the Battle of Yavin IV and the Yavin Code which functionally exist in cannon as the Geneva Convention of Star Wars. Mainly speaking, I am posting this to see if there is any interest in the idea but it's okay if there isn't. You know the saying; it never really hurts to try.

In the concept, it's mostly like governance and the like BUT there is one very big thing that I have not been able to figure out and that is how to incorporate Jedi or force users in general. I would imagine the idea would be that the New Jedi Order continues to exist but is treated functionally as a sovereign nation? I don't know which is another reason I am posting this thread!

Either way, I also want to pour one out for the GA. It's been a helluva of a ride.

Jand Talo Jand Talo as far as I know is going to turn NJO into its own minor faction away from GA.

So I’d say whatever you end up doing just do without Jedi or maybe name it something different than NJO to keep them separate? There’s no rule saying we can’t have multiple though.

Either way good luck! I hope this helped

The plan is for NJO to operate without any government oversight, to return to the nature of being a Jedi Order in the more galactic protecting sense, and to oppose the dark side wherever it shows up - without having to wait for a government to say when to go or how to fight.

They can still help governments, sure, but it will be under NJO's terms and to the extent they feel warranted for the situation.

If you need a specific term for NJO in this, perhaps Allies is suitable.
