Description:
"Truth" is Valik's name for a pair of alchemical objects designed for a very specific purpose, bypassing illusions brought about by mentalism. After obtaining a Miraluka with the assistance of Odium he studied the creature and it's natural Force Sight ability, which he imbued within "Truth". This he compounded with knowledge of a multitude of mentalist abilities acquired from an extensive psychometry session with the body of Je'gan Olra'en. This allows the user of "Truth" to see through any illusion that Je'gan Olra'en could create(the full extent of which can be seen here). "Truth" does not allow the users to see through any Force-based illusions not known to Je'gan Olra'en(for example a Force Phantom), nor does it confer any ability to bypass non-force based illusions that normal use of Force Sight would not. Additionally, due to "Truth" operating on a fully Force Sight based spectrum the act of detecting beings with lower/non-existent force signatures very difficult(Notably Yuuzhan Vong and Droids have a tendency to blend in the background as if they were inanimate and lifeless objects).

"Truth" itself is actually two objects, one in the possession of Ashin Varanin and the other in Valik's. The one given to Ashin is a sniper scope lens that can be interchanged with the various scopes she owns for her collection of sniper rifles, each of which have very different effective and maximum ranges. The one in Valik's own possession is a contact lens. This allows him to see the truth in one eye, while in the other see what a possible illusionist opponent wishes him to see, letting him "play alone" and wait until the moment is right to strike.
