Crying silently was a lesson she'd learned early in life. She buried her face in her knees as silent sobs shook her body. It would have been easier if she was just hurt by his rejection. That would have taken her no time at all to shake off. What might wind up killing her was her rejection of herself that he reinforced.[/SIZE]
