The Trigonus Smart Power Enhancement and Enervation Distribution System (SPEEDS) is a power transfer device that redirects power from one ship system to a different ship system. This has the effect of lowering one ship system by one rating and increasing another ship system by one rating. The SPEEDS system is controlled by a computer that performs systems monitoring and will proactively shut off a system if it is in danger of an overload that could cause permanent damage.
