DESCRIPTION
The Trigonus series of LEET laser weapons use the company's Advanced Particle Wave Collimator to drive a variety of laser platforms to very long range capability. The LEET weapons technology can be incorporated into blaster rifles, laser cannons, and turbolasers, allowing a sniper, vehicle, or starship to reach across a battlefield to engage targets beyond usual maximum range. The system has a drawback of increased thermal management issues, requiring that the maximum rate of fire for a weapon be diminished. Rifles are limited to one shot per two seconds, Laser cannons to one shot per ten seconds, and turbolasers to one shot per fifty seconds. When engaging from beyond enemy range, a slower rate of fire can be preferable to no fire at all. Once an enemy closes to traditional ranges, an array of standard laser weapons becomes desirable. The LEET is manufactured exclusively for the Diarchy.
