- Mode Swap: While the bow initially sports an extreme range and high stopping power, switching modes can increase the stopping power but at the cost of the effective range from extreme to battlefield.
- Central Components: Though the bow can be used without it's computer elements, it functions at almost half the capacity without them and thus would be rendered half useless if struck by an electromagnetic weapon or damage.
- Sonic Waves: Where it succeeds at resisting heats and variable colds, it does not handle sonic weaponry very well.
The fringes of space are a dangerous place. A dangerous place explored by few and only those brave enough to risk never seeing the galaxy again. It was these very fringes of space that Katria Vekarr ventured to explore following her retirement from the special operations of the Confederacy of Independent Systems following events that left a sour track in her mind. But with the departure of one hobby returned another one that was equally as special and fruitful.
Finding a variety of materials from across the fringes of known and even unknown space, the young mercenary worked closely with her Verpine companion to build a new weapon for herself. One that was more efficient at stealth and far more deadly in application due to the modularity of the ammunition she could use. The reason being an encounter with a primitive indigenous species on a planet outside the known galaxy; a species very fond of the use of bows.
