[THEME]

[Tribe of Mandalorians is a multi-thread Mandalorian Story Arc that is chronicled here in Chapter Summary entries]
It is a time of loss, of mourning and of searching - in Mando'a it is lamented as the Time of the Lost, the Echoy'la Ca'nara. Splintered and scattered from their homeworld of Mandalore the remaining Mandalorians are forced to engineer their new destinies as a diaspora family. But, even in this age of strife - the Way can be found. Mandalorian Clans survive on their own, rebuilding and renewing. Together, although divided and disparate, they are one Tribe. A Tribe of the Mandalorians.

Mandalore - is lost. Consumed by the Sith Empire, the home of the most renowned warriors in the galaxy had been subjugated. The Mandalorian Clans that once manned its every defense were but a shadow of their former might. Like small embers from the sparks of endless wars, what was left of the Clans - haggard groups of resistance fighters and warrior's turned Bounty Hunters and Gunslingers - were scattered across the galaxy. The Mandalorian Civil War and the slow death it suffered afterward, scarred many with deep wounds that refused to heal. And grievances to ingrained to be cast aside. So, the warriors of Mandalore disappeared into the reaches of the galaxy to forge their own survival. That is until the call of an old veteran would summon the old spirit of the Mandalorians.

Clan Ori'Verd was old. Very old. Everyone to some degree had come across its lineage - and Ijaat Ori'Verd was its greatest warrior, a legend. Ijaat was a mighty warrior and one of the last that could be called a paragon of the Resolnare (The Way of the Mandalorian). But, the devastation of Mandalore, the Civil War and its loss and also brought low this hero. By the time of the Sith Annexation, Ijaat was pushing past elder age and had lost his scions in the wars. No sons to take up his legacy, no heirs to keep the Ori'verd line alive - just a tired, dying old man.

On his deathbed, in his hideout on Lujo he recorded a call - like in the days of old - a call disguised as a bounty. This bounty, a shipment of precious Beskar, mined from Mandalore by the Sith and bound to a hidden Outer Rim drydocks. With his dying breath, the bounty was sent out into the void of the holo-net, recorded in pure Mando'a (language of the Mandalorians). If there still was warriors who deep down had kept their ties to their dying culture - then the call will be heard, and just like the old crusades, one final crusade would be heeded.
