This reminded me of a terrible idea for a site I had a few years ago.
The idea revolved around a multi-verse event that dragged Star Wars, Star Trek, Stargate and Battlestar Galactic together.
Getting the various technologies to work together more or less put a stop to the idea.
The end was the best part (of the first video)
Haven't seen Star Trek and not going to do that either, so my reaction to the video was practically based on what I've heard. But I still don't agree with the 'prequels suck' way of thinking about Star Wars.

Gotta say, Trek is the odd one out of those four... Or maybe not...
Star Wars:
- Has Stargates (Thank you to the Gree and Rakata)
- Most definitely has FTL jumps
- Probably had space-folding at some point (Don't even remember if that was from one of those universes or not)
Star Trek:
- Has Stargates (Iconians)
- Has (actually, really slow by comparison) FTL travel
- Doesn't have space folding
So, Star Trek and Star Wars could've worked separately, but not at the same time
