  • Brief Overview: When the Mandal-Diarch War reached its breaking point after Diarch Rellik’s plea for Mandalorian genocide before the Black Sun Syndicate, the Mandalorian Empire answered in blood. Their fleets carved a ruthless path into Diarchy space, descending upon the industrial stronghold of Yaga Minor with decisive fury. Orbital defenses shattered, armadas scattered, and within mere hours the world fell, its capture severing nearly a third of Diarchy sovereign territory beneath Mandalorian blockade. Yet in the aftermath of conquest, Mandalorian agents uncovered heavily encrypted data aboard the Santhe/Sienar station in orbit, revealing that the war itself had been deliberately ignited by the Imperial Confederation through the machinations of an operative known as Her, or Ella Nova, whose aim was to weaken both powers for eventual subjugation. Armed with proof of deception, Mandalore carried its findings to Bastion and presented the framework by which bloodshed could cease and order be restored. Faced with truth and the consequences already wrought, the Diarchy accepted these conditions, and the Treaty of Yaga Minor was signed, bringing hostilities to their end.

The Treaty of Yaga Minor marked the formal conclusion of the Mandal-Diarch War, a conflict ignited by escalating acts of provocation, retaliation, and concealed manipulation. What began with the killing of a Mandalorian child on Vexis Station and hardened through executions on Daro, insurgent agitation on Taris, and border hostilities, ultimately reached its breaking point when Diarch Rellik sought genocidal recourse through the Black Sun Syndicate. The appeal for the eradication of Mandalorian worlds transformed a bitter regional conflict into an existential confrontation. In response, the Mandalorian Empire abandoned containment and answered in force.

Mandalorian fleets surged deep into Diarch territory and struck the industrial world of Yaga Minor with calculated ferocity. Orbital defenses collapsed under sustained assault, the Diarchy’s armada failed to regroup, and ground resistance fractured within hours. The fall of Yaga Minor severed nearly a third of Diarch sovereign space under Mandalorian blockade, demonstrating both capability and resolve. The incursion was not symbolic. It was strategic, punitive, and decisive.

Yet the turning point of the war did not occur on the battlefield. In the aftermath of the occupation, Mandalorian intelligence operatives conducted a sweep of the Santhe/Sienar Station in orbit of Yaga Minor. There they uncovered heavily encrypted files revealing that the Mandal-Diarch War had been deliberately instigated by the Imperial Confederation. An operative known as Her, or Ella Nova, had orchestrated destabilization efforts designed to provoke sustained conflict between Mandalore and the Diarchy. The objective was fragmentation, attrition, and eventual Confederate intervention against two weakened neighbors.

With proof of manipulation secured, the Mandalorian Empire shifted its posture from conquest to confrontation of truth. Mand’alor the Iron traveled to Bastion, capital of the Diarchy, and presented both the evidence and a structured path forward. These terms were framed not as capitulation, but as the necessary conditions by which hostilities could end and sovereignty be preserved in the face of a greater threat. Confronted with documentation of Confederate interference and the reality of Mandalorian military dominance, the Diarchy acquiesced. The Treaty of Yaga Minor was ratified, formally ending the war.

The accord established immediate intelligence transparency measures. The Diarchy granted Mandalore thirty days of conditional access to its intelligence networks for the sole purpose of identifying and expelling Diarch-aligned personnel operating within Mandalorian space. Operational limitations were codified to prevent broader exploitation of Diarch infrastructure. In tandem, both nations agreed to mass repatriation procedures for sympathizers residing in each other’s territories, with each government assuming full financial responsibility for the relocation of its own citizens and affiliates.

Resource concessions formed a central pillar of the treaty. The Diarchy surrendered all beskar reserves to Mandalorian custody and permitted a six-month sanctioned extraction period within the asteroid fields of Echoy’la. Upon conclusion of that period, Mandalore formally relinquished any further claim to beskar within Diarch territory, establishing material finality and preventing indefinite grievance.

Finally, the treaty restored a formal state of non-aggression. Both parties acknowledged the potential for minor border incidents, committing instead to de-escalation rather than renewed war. Diplomatic normalization was made conditional upon sustained adherence to the accord’s provisions. Peace was defined not as assumed, but as demonstrated through conduct.

With the ratification of the Treaty of Yaga Minor, open conflict between the Mandalorian Empire and the Diarchy concluded. The revelation of Confederate interference reshaped the strategic landscape. No longer divided by manufactured hostility, Mandalore recalibrated its focus. The war had exposed the architect behind the chaos.

With the Diarchy conflict resolved, the Mandalorian Empire now turns its full attention toward its true adversary: the Imperial Confederation.

TREATY OF YAGA MINOR
An Accord of Ceasefire, Strategic Realignment, and Conditional Non-Aggression

Preamble

In the aftermath of the Diarchy’s defeat upon Yaga Minor, and in recognition that continued hostility serves not the security of either nation but the ambitions of a third power, the Mandalorian Empire extends terms of resolution to the Diarchy.

Evidence has revealed that agents of the Imperial Confederation deliberately fostered instability, manipulated crisis events upon Vexis Station, and sought to engineer sustained conflict between the Diarchy and Mandalore. Their aim was not justice, nor stability, but fragmentation and opportunistic expansion.

Though the Diarchy persisted in violence when offered the opportunity to end hostilities upon the battlefield, the Mandalorian Empire now elects restraint over reprisal. This accord is extended not from weakness, but from strategic clarity.

The true enemy has made itself known.

To prevent further incursion into Diarchy territory and to conclude the present war, the following terms are set forth.

Article I – Intelligence Transparency and Security Cooperation

1.1 Conditional Access:
The Diarchy shall grant the Mandalorian Empire full and immediate access to its intelligence network and security archives for the sole and explicit purpose of identifying, locating, and expelling all active or pro-Diarchy personnel operating within Mandalorian space. This access shall be limited to a period of thirty days. If the expulsion concludes earlier than this time frame, the access will be concluded accordingly.

1.2 Operational Limitation:
Such access shall be limited to counterintelligence objectives directly related to Mandalorian internal security and the removal of Diarch-aligned assets. No additional exploitation of Diarch intelligence infrastructure shall be conducted beyond this defined scope.

Article II – Repatriation and Deportation of Sympathizers

2.1 Deportation from Mandalorian Space:
The Diarchy shall accept the mass repatriation of all individuals within Mandalorian space proven to hold active allegiance or material support for the Diarchy.

This includes:
  • Denizens of Taris with verified Diarch sympathies.
  • Naturalized citizens of territories brought under Mandalorian authority during the Battle of Yaga Minor who maintain declared or demonstrable loyalty to the Diarchy.
  • The Diarchy shall bear full financial responsibility for the relocation, transport, and resettlement of these individuals.
2.2 Deportation from Diarchy Space:
The Mandalorian Empire shall reciprocate by accepting the mass repatriation of all individuals within Diarch space proven to hold active allegiance or material support for Mandalore.

This includes:
  • Denizens of Echoy’la with verified Mandalorian sympathies.
  • The Mandalorian Empire shall bear full financial responsibility for the relocation, transport, and resettlement of its own citizens and supporters.
Article III – Beskar Reclamation and Resource Finality

3.1 Six-Month Extraction Period:
The Mandalorian Empire shall be granted a period of six standard months to conduct sanctioned strip-mining operations within the asteroid fields of Echoy’la for the recovery of beskar.

3.2 Transfer of Reserves:
The Diarchy shall surrender its full reserves of beskar to Mandalorian custody upon ratification of this treaty.

3.3 Final Claim:
Upon conclusion of the six-month extraction period, any remaining beskar located within Diarch territory shall be considered permanently beyond Mandalorian claim. The Mandalorian Empire shall make no further territorial or material claims upon Diarch-controlled beskar resources thereafter.

Article IV – Conditional Non-Aggression

4.1 Restoration of Non-Aggression:
Upon ratification, both parties shall return to a formal state of non-aggression.

4.2 Border Incidents:
Both nations recognize that lingering hostility and proximity may result in minor skirmishes or border engagements. Such incidents shall not constitute grounds for full-scale escalation.
Both parties commit to de-escalation procedures and restoration of non-aggression status following any localized flare-up.

Article V – Amendments and Arbitration
This accord shall serve as the foundation for measured stabilization between the Mandalorian Empire and the Diarchy. Should the Diarchy demonstrate sustained adherence to the terms herein, further diplomatic normalization may be considered at a later date. Peace is not presumed. It is proven.

Signed in mutual understanding.
Let honor guide our hands, and peace shape our path.
