Public Transport Down

Balru was use to flying. Flying was great. Falling through a planet's atmosphere was NOT what she signed up for. The young Lervon honestly wasn't sure what to do except hold her sandy body together and hope fire wouldn't be involved. She wasn't even sure where they were right now. It was like the ship was ripped out of hyperspace or.... Poodoo that was ground coming fast! Balru was sent flying around the cabin as the transport hit the ground, becoming disoriented as her crystal mass scattered as far as it could.

The next thing she remembered was alarms and sparks. Balru started to pull her form back together, trying to get her baring back. "Uh.... Where am...." She stopped and looked around, seeing if anyone else was there.

There was a loud sound of metal giving way under irresistible force as the loading ramp, badly damaged in the crash, was unceremoniously ripped off its hinges. Hovering outside the ship, Syreeta tossed the dislodged ramp away, then waved a hand in front of her face as thick black smoke billowed out from the hole she had created.

"Hello?" she called inside the ship. "Can anyone hear me? Are you hurt?"

The early morning had been fun, a chance to get away from the fortress and others for a small time at least. The wind went over the bodysuit she was wearing as liquid silver eyes were watching the area around herself as she moved.... then something was crashing through the skies in a flaming streak before her. The snarl when she veered up and to the side to stop herself for a moment before looking down at it with the force and wind shaped around herself. She debated mentally what to do and helping seemed useless but there was a chance of a survivor and they might be worth something... Her eyes tracked it as she shaped the air around herself and followed seeing it impact and something else going after it for a moment. She looked at the being using the force to open it as she remained suspended in the arm with her arms crossed.

"H-hello.... I'm here. I... I don't know if anyone else is here."

A strange being who seemed to be made of shifting sand spoke up from the darkness. Syreeta rephrased her question, asking, "Do you need healing?" Though truth be told, she wouldn't know how to begin healing the wounds of such a creature. Ah, well. The Force would reveal all.

She turned her attention to the rest of the ship, searching for other survivors among the wreckage. In the process, she also looked for signs of what had caused the crash. As far as she could tell, there had been a fire, though it wasn't clear what exactly had gone wrong.

"You were aboard this vessel, yet you don't know if there are any other passengers?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. Perhaps the sand being had suffered an injury during the crash that was causing memory loss. Or maybe there was more to this situation than meets the eye.

As she spoke to Balru, she became faintly aware of another powerful presence hovering nearby. But for now, she focused her attention on those in need.

The ones in the ship she could feel when she touched down. Hovering just slightly above the ground by a mere few millimeters. Someone almost smashed into her and that annoyed her a little. Her amusement remaining before she was walking forward and should have brought K2... her little psychotic droid would have enjoyed his time here just seeing what they could get into.. also he would have been able to slice the ships system and get her information. Her eyes going to the ripped off door for a moment when she crouched there. Checking on more of it before she turned her head looking up to the hole as voice came out and down to her.

Balru looked over at Force user, she did the equivalent of taking a breath, as she looked around. “Lervon don’t exactly… heal.” She said before the other noted that she didn’t seem to know if there was anyone else, despite being on the ship.

Balru admittedly got nervous, but closed her eyes. “Th… there were others, but I can see or hear or feel them….”

“Lervon don’t exactly… heal.”

"I see." Syreeta noted the way the sand shifted, taking on a humanoid form. The creature's words on the rest of the crew were grim; sure enough, Syreeta managed to locate a few lifeless bodies strewn about the vessel. "I am sorry," she said, not breaking the bad news so much as confirming it.

Movement below drew her attention. As Syreeta peered into the hole at the bottom of the hull, she spotted Sawa Ike Sawa Ike floating in midair. "Are you part of the crew?" she asked - before the sound of groaning metal interrupted their introductions. The vessel had crashed on the edge of a cliff, and was now beginning to tilt precariously to one side.

"We need to get off this ship!" she exclaimed, moving to the sand creature's side. "Can you move?"

"No." She said it and moved forward it a look coming to the hole to look at the other... a being of dirt... no sand. "I am he one you almost hit." She said it while looking at the two of them and standing tall with her stature and aura. "And now I am wondering what it is that I have come upon?" Her nose twitched as she was scenting the air and the one had something almost familiar but not enough.. the other smelled like earth and her thoughts of testing her shaping on such a thing was interesting.. she hadn't thought if it would work on a living thing... or what could happen if she drowned it in some water.

Hubert was enjoying a nice lunch, finally finding a moment of peace amongst the chaos of life over the last few weeks. He sits atop a lonesome hill, peering out over the land below. He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath, drawing in the fresh air that seems to dance around him so effortlessly.

As he raises his sandwich to take a bite, he sees the ball of fire falling from the sky, hurdling to the ground below. He does not panick, he does not cry in sorrow or melancholy- he simply groans in agony having to pack his lunch, and boards his ship to go investigate the crash site.

He lands the Star-Scraper a few dozen yards away from the impact zone, and proceeds on foot to the ship. Upon arrival, he sees the three already standing there in hopes of aiding this fallen passenger.

Hubert clears his throat and shifts in his heels, his arm coming up to wipe the sweat from his forehead, which only smears the lacker of black engine grease staining his skin. Afterwards, the hand drops to meet the other in looping its thumb around Huberts' suspenders.

"Well howdy! Wasn't expectin' a whole party out 'ere." He says with a friendly grin, the accent of a boy raised by farmers piercing the air in a rather enthusiastic voice.

Balru's eyes went to the new faces, one asking what happened, the other pointing out the party of people there. "The... the ship crashed. I...." And then the ship started moving under her feet.

"I can move. Gogogo." She said, quickly start to run before bumping into the mandalorian. "I... sorry." She said as she kept moving, hoping the others would follow her lead. Some things about the lervon would become a little more obvious now. The sandlike crystals that made her up never truly settled, but always kept close to her structure; and that she could alter how she formed going between humanoid and fluid motion with ease.

The woman in black leather definitively denied that she was part of the crew. Apparently the ship had almost hit her as it crashed, and now she was investigating the wreck. It made sense, though Syreeta couldn't quite shake the sense of wariness she felt in the stranger's presence.

They were joined by a fourth person, a man with a country-fried accent. Grease stains were smeared on his clothes and skin, signs that he might be mechanically inclined. Under better circumstances, Syreeta would've asked him for help figuring out what was wrong with the ship - and possibly getting started on repairs. But the teetering vessel was a lost cause. There was only one course of action left to them: evacuate!

The sand creature was able to move, heading for the closest exit. Syreeta followed her, ready to help the others escape if they needed assistance. Their feet touched the ground in the nick of time, as the starship tilted farther and farther on its side before finally falling over the edge of the cliff. The earth shook as it hit the bottom of the gorge and exploded, a cloud of fire and smoke rising up into the air.

Syreeta turned to the others, her expression solemn. Though she had gotten the lone survivor to safety, she felt bad about how the situation had shaken out; the rest of the crew were dead and now the ship was smoldering rubble at the bottom of a cliff. "I am sorry we couldn't save it," she said to Balru Iolar Balru Iolar . "If you need transportation offworld, I can take you to the nearest starport." It was the least she could do, after all that.

The arrival of another person brought her senses around as the ship was teetering for a moment.. and then she was moving out of it as it fell and exploded. Her eyes watching it before she turned back to look at the others with the new one having an accent that was thick as well as his own to get here. She was mostly wondering what attention there was going to be brought here as she moved back. A little and kept them in her view. "What brought you out here and almost hitting me?" She asked it while looking at the pile of sand crystals for a moment though with silver eyes watching her more as senses expanded outwards. "An inconvenience like that usually means someone is deserving of a knife to the face."
