  • Gold Chit: Bioscanner to plug into terminals for detailed identification.
  • Gold Chit: Favor information is recorded in a secure Transgalactic database.

  • Both: Microtag to track previous owners for authentication. Wiped upon confirmation the coin is genuine and completion of any transaction. This allows any forgery to be tracked before the coin is put back into circulation.
  • Both: ATRS anti-tamper resistance as standard to block physical tampering.
  • Both: Advanced 2048 key encryption to prevent slicers from accessing the coins.
STRENGTHS
  • The Gold Favor Chit can identify by name, and record DNA, as well as audio and detailed biometrical information. This allows identification of who owes the favor, should they try to hide from it.
  • The Silver Marker is less formal, recording name and image for reference only. Both get wiped clean upon changing hands and recirculating.
  • Very resistant to tampering or slicing.
WEAKNESSES
  • Exclusive, expensive, and hard to come by. Platinum is not cheap.
  • 2048 key encryption means a slow data transfer. Transactions take 30 seconds to a minute at least, more when accessing the Transgalactic favors database.

DESCRIPTION

Two coins with two purposes.

The Silver marker is a way to obtain privileged access. It will get you into places or open opportunities. Safehouses, hotels, armories, secure transport, secure meeting areas, private parties, high-paying contracts, information found or lost, generous bounties, black markets, new tech, and expensive events to name a few. They can also be used to pay informally at these locations when you or they want an alternative secure method. You might earn them on a job, mission, business dealing, or contact, or be given one if lucky enough to know the right person for any reason they decide.

The Golden Favor Chit can be used to record a favor owed. It will store DNA, detailed biometric information, audio references, images, and name data. A sophisticated tool that is very hard to alter or hack due to its very heavy encryption. The favors owed are also stored in a Transgalactic database for cross-referencing. This is used when you want a serious favor, anything up to life or death from that individual. Assassination, dangerous heists, corporate espionage, decisive political action, and sensitive spy work are some examples of what might be required to fulfill the favor. The holder will name it when they are ready, and the database will record who owns the favor. It cannot be transferred, sold, bought, or traded. The only way out of a favor is if you are released from it by the owner, the owner dies, or you complete it.

What happens when you don't fulfill a gold favor chit, or try to counterfeit a silver marker? Then The Transgalactic sends assassins after you until you are eliminated, often forever. The only reason this currency has any weight is that enough underworld organizations use it. They too may take you out for the perceived disrespect depending on temperament. Additionally, teams are sometimes sent out to recover favor chits if they somehow 'go missing' before they are used. Give these golden favors to others with caution, you never know when they might call that favor in!
