  • Weight: 1.2 kgs - Heavy(Compared to other Kopis blades)
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Soul-Steel abilities (Force Imbued, Emotional Presence, Kinetic Presence)
  • Beskar Edge and guard
  • Grip made from Ori'ramikad Wood and treated with resin
  • Sharpened by Svolten Rhyolite
  • Housed in a Terentatek Leather sheath.
Strengths:
  • Ax-Sword: Taking the machete style of a Beskad, as well as the Hellyian Kopis weapon designs and forging them into a weapon provides great benefits. The weapon was built for slashing, chopping, and hacking at enemies. Given that both weapon types were used with the weight of the blade to power through enemies defensive measures, The added recurve in the blade allows the wielder to use the weapon much like an ax, chopping limbs and wood alike, while having a full blade. Secondary to this comes with the guard. Covering a large portion of the hand for protection, as well as the prevention of the wielders hand from migrating up onto the blade in combat, and prevent the weapon from sliding out of the hand.
  • Mandalorian-by-Design: Using two unique types of metals within the weapon, The smiths would have first created a billet out of the Soul-steel, that was then forge welded with beskar to be the edge and spine of the weapon. Thus, having a hard edge that can retain its sharpness, and not break under stress, while the much lighter Soul-steel used as the body of the weapon. Allowing the softer steel to absorb the impacts, and provide secondary benefits. Thusly, this weapon is very resistant to all kinds of damage through not just the force, but through the anatomical configuration. Third, the grip has been sanded and wrapped in leather around wood from the Ori'ramikad Tree. Resin is applied to strengthen the grip to resist thermal and kinetic damage.
  • Amplification: Connected to the force with the use of Soul-steel, the weapon will naturally be able to resist many kinds of weaponry, be unnaturally sharp to the point of being able to cut some metals, given time, as well as the addition of an Kinetic charge allows for the weapon to hit much harder than intended. A glancing blow could do more damage to be considered a full blow, while a full blow would be very powerful and would feel like getting hit by a racing speeder. This amplifies the physical damage this weapon can do. Much like how a cut is done by focusing energy into a small surface area, and thus cutting, The sword is unnaturally sharp, and amplifies the force provided in the swing to increase the cutting power even more than that of your kindred Force Imbued blades.
  • Emo to the Extreme: Inherently, Soul-steel has the capability to release a range of emotions from Fear, Excitement, Resolve, and Anger. This flux of emotions can disrupt force users who cannot shield their minds from the affects. Someone who does not have any strength or knowledge in protecting their mind can very easily feel the full force of these emotions forcibly affecting them. While those who do have training, as well as how trained they are, will find it affecting them less and lest the more proficient they are at shielding their minds.
Weaknesses:
  • Hope for Extinction: With the grip of the weapon crafted from the wood and resin of the Ori'ramikad Tree, It has a severe weakness of Vong Tech. The poisons and weaponry can very easily eat away, damage, and utterly destroy the wood. Even more so, should someone be holding onto the grip while being affected by poisons, the poison can transfer to the person through the hand and begin to eat their skin and muscle tissue. Secondary to this, The wood requires high maintenance. Needing the resin to be reapplied to the wood every six months at the least, and maybe sooner depending upon wear and tear on the handle.
  • Force Negation: Attuned to the force, Any kind of Voidstone, Voidsteel, or nullification bubble can dampen, or temporarily remove the capabilities of the weapon. This removes any use of the Kinetic charge, Increased cutting power, or Force imbued uses. While the Beskar can still retain its high resilience, the rest of the weapon is susceptible to damage.
  • Everyone, or No One: Due to the unique connection between the Empathy side of the force with projection emotions from the weapon itself, A sheath was made with Terentatek leather so that when sheathed, the weapon will not emit these emotions, and will prevent the weapon from shocking anyone who attempts to pick it up. However, the down side of this is that when the weapon is drawn, all who are around Atheus, and Atheus himself can be affected by the release of emotions. This can negatively affect allies just as much as enemies.
  • Limited Utility: The Kopis is an amazing chopping tool. It can be used to cut down wood, chop limbs and hitting people with massive kinetic force, however, it lacks greatly in the piercing, and guarding departments. The guard over the hand is merely used to prevent the hand from sliding up, or down the grip and provide a much better edge alignment with the sword. While in a pinch the guard can definitely defend the hand, it was not built for that purpose in mind. A sword can hit the upper guard and slide down into the fingers of the wielder, or slide up from the bottom guard. Best bet is to parry the blade with the recurve of the weapon, or to angle the edge of the sword to let an opposing blade to slide away from the wielder, or using the flat of the blade to slap the weapon away. Requiring the user to be on the offensive, or use counter attacks. Not relying on a hardy defensive line.
DESCRIPTION
Atheus over the past few years has been given a new chance at life. His outcast life from the planet of Hora, Never quite fitting in with the Iron Empire, and slowly losing his way, has been searching for somewhere he himself, can call home. Not specifically a place, but a group of people that see him for who he really is. A Veteran of war that seeks for something more. Not the field of battle, but a home among people that he can rely and count upon.

His first major attempt at this was with the Mandalorian Crusaders under the eyes of Isley Verd. Becoming a respected rival with Alkor Centaris and acquaintances with Keira Verd. While the Crusaders fell due to the abandonment of Darth Metus of the Crusades, becoming a Confederacy, Atheus left to find a new home. Attempting the Iron Lords with the Iron Empire, he made quite a few steps, but fell short with a falling out of their leadership, as well as not seeing eye to eye. Attempting to create his own home with the Vanguard, it quickly fell without much help.

It was only recently that Atheus gave it one last shot. Attempting to integrate himself with the Mandalorian Empire. Knowing that old faces were tied with the growing faction, he joined. Seeking guidance not in the force or his morals, but with a family. A group, a culture that he can thrive in, and in return, do the same for others. Slowly, learning more and more of the culture of the Mandalorians, as well as their structures, He aided many of them from time to time.

Upon being taken in by the Clan Cadera from Yasha herself, Atheus was given his training status with the Mandalorians. As well as his continued efforts to grow and learn from them, Atheus asked a weapon be made to signify his new life. A life where his past has molded his present self, and his future. Taking a weapon from the heritage he was born into, as well as a weapon he has grown and bonded with, Atheus created a clash of weapons between a Beskad, as well as a Kopis. A chopping and slashing weapon that will allow him to fight with every breath for the Mandalorian Empire and any future iterations of it.

Atheus is betting everything his is, with them, and in doing so, Created a weapon fitting of a Mandalorian Warrior.
