At a first glance, the Flame Lance might appear as just another ornate weapon, albeit with superior construction. However, when activated, the very core of the Beviin begins to emanate an intense heat. This searing temperature gives it excellent piercing abilities and has the possibility of cauterizing wounds, allowing for a clean and efficient kill. This danger can be a double edged sword, however. Without careful handling and proper preparations the searing heat of the lance can make it just as dangerous to its handler. And while Beskar's conductive properties make it impeccable for the purposes of heat emission, electrical weapons that make contact might create a feedback shock for an uninsulated wielder.
