Precision Ordinance Targeting System: The Storm-class's targeting system for its four heavy universal launch tubes allows each tube to independently fire on different targets. This targeting system also allows the torpedoes or missiles to fire on very specific points of the hull, allowing Storm-class vessels to accurately hit enemy subsystems.
Stygium Cloaking Device: The Torrent-type vessels are all equipped a Stygium cloaking device, which can be used to had the craft from both sensors and visual identification. While cloaked, the Torrent-type Storm-classes are unable to fire their weapons, and shields are deactivated so that the cloak has enough power. EMPs will also force these ships out of cloak.
Sensor-Scattering Ferrosphere Paint: The paint used on the Torrent-type craft is scanner scattering, making them more difficult to target, even when decloaked.

The Torrent-type vessels were a side project by Concord Specialized Technologies engineer Aries to create a stealth assault craft. He designed to use the already in the works Storm-class as the base hull of this idea, and thus the Torrent-type was born. Meant to operate as a hit-and-fade vessel, the Torrent-type keeps the powerful armament and targeting system of its base hull, while add a healthy dose of stealth systems. As a stealth craft, the Torrent-type could also be described as an ARC (Aggressive ReCon) craft, depending on the captain. In general, they also lack identifying markers, making it hard to pin who is using them in any action.
