STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

Tomas is both a veteran soldier and a Jedi Knight, switching between the two in order to do the most good, and to help make sure he doesn't become too powerful and forget the people he's supposed to be serving.

His skills as a Jedi make him a force to be feared with a lightsaber, and his connection to the force allows him to push himself to a higher level physically and detect his surroundings with ease. In addition, his connection to the force allows him to push, pull, or otherwise manipulate an inanimate object with the force to an extent, ranging from moving a thermal detonator with a flick of his thumb to sending an entire (deactivated) TIE fighter towards Imperials, albit with much greater difficulty.

On the other hand his skills as an Alliance Soldier makes him a force to be feared when armed with his A280 rifle and DC-15s pistol, good enough that most of his comrades forgets that he's a Jedi. A trait he uses to hide his presence until it's time to reveal himself.

Most of the time he will use his force abilities to compliment his abilities as a soldier, but has a habit of resorting to his lightsaber for slicing the legs of an AT-ST causing it to fall over (His calling card of sorts) or in situations better suited for a blade then a blaster

However he does have his weaknesses, as he is extremely vulnerable to the force, and by extension force users. While his skill with a Lightsaber is impressive, and able to grant him an advantage in a duel, Tomas has very little resistance to force based attacks or experience in redirecting objects thrown at him through the force, meaning he would lose almost every time another force user plays ping pong with an object of noteable size and mass.

Lastly Tomas has had his share of struggles resisting the Dark Side, most notably when he enters what he refers to as Force Frenzy, A dark side fueled rage in which Tomas gains enormous strength and immunity to pain and greatly reduces damage but at the cost of target fixation on an individual being, and seeing to their certain execution by his blade. Thankfully the frenzy ends once he accomplishes killing his opponent, and can only be triggered by massive amounts of his own desire, and the collective desire of those around him directed at the death of an individual.

(For Example, If Tomas was to cross paths with Darth Vader while accompanied by Rebels Soldiers the collective desire to kill Vader would be so great, That Tomas would become a cold killer with the sole goal of killing his target. Assuming Vader didn't just force choke him or otherwise kill him, Tomas would regain control of himself when Vader would be dead, only to realize the horror he had become to his closest allies.)

APPEARANCE:
Tall and broad for a human, Tomas stands at Six-foot two and weighs about 190 pounds. Fit and with his brown hair cut short, he is almost the ideal build and look for a soldier. Generally reinforced by the fact that he regularly dons Alliance Soldier Battledress and fatigues rather than normal civilian or Jedi clothing

BIOGRAPHY:
Tomas' father worked as a guard for the Jedi Temple before Order 66 and died defending younglings during the rise of the Empire, leaving Tomas's mother to raise him alone. During his early childhood, Tomas heard stories about the great republic and the Jedi order that his family had been loyal to for generations from his mother, a navigator turned smuggler in order to make ends meet under the Empire.

When the Rebel Alliance started to take form, Tomas was one of the first volunteers inspired by the tales of the Jedi and the Republic. Training as a soldier and eventually working his way up to the rank of Lieutenant, Tomas proved his worth as a soldier against the Empire in key battles until the Battle of Yavin and the reemergence of the Force and the Jedi. Following the destruction of the Death Star up until the Emperor's death at Endor, Tomas started to notice a change in how he saw the world almost as if he was sensitive to the force like the Jedi.

He later found out he indeed was, and received some training in the ways of the Jedi and finally created his own Lightsaber, but left to rejoin the ranks of the Alliance rather than stay and perfect his force abilities.

Like you can hit the broadside of an assault cruiser with that helmet on. Bring it.
I chuckled to myself.

Also, an interesting take on a character half 'n' half between the Military life and one of servitude in the Order.

Fighting for the Alliance
It's actually a pretty fun game, dark and gritty and from the point of view from battle hardened commandos rather than the Jedi. But it's still Star Wars, and the B1 droids are still pathetic! Can't say the same about the Super Battle Droids, one can soak up half of your ammo even when the entire squad is pouring it on one. And they never come alone.
