PRODUCTION INFORMATION
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Combined Arm Tactics Programming
  • Mark II has a Jetpack System that allows it to fly a short distance
  • Ground Slam: They can preform a devastating ground slam with both of their cannon arms that can deal a large amount of damage to an opponent
  • Spinning Fury: They begin to spin their upper body and further extend their arm's reach; they will march to an opponent doing this move for about 7 seconds before stopping
  • Missile Barrage: They can launch a small detachment of missiles from their back that deal quite a lot of damage over an area.
STRENGTHS
  • Mobile Artillery: The Toborro Mark I & II are equipped with heavy cannons for arms that pack a mean punch into the enemy's fortifications. Allowing them to be used as mobile artillery units instead of the more vulnerable stationary artillery that must be defended in the field of battle.
  • Armored Shell: The Toborro War Droid Marks are equipped with heavily armored shell that allow them to survive much more damage than normal battle droid units and results in less casualties among them. Their unique appearance also affords them more protection because they have multiple plates of armor on them to deflect damage away from their more vulnerable joints
  • Maneuverability: The Toborro War Droid Marks are equipped with more uncompacted form that allow them the ability to move faster than normal for a droid of their size. Allowing them the chance to combat more agile opponents or other smaller infantry units that attempt to engage them on the battlefield while also protecting themselves in the intense warzone that they are operating in.
WEAKNESSES
  • Slow Processor: The Toborro War Droid Marks have a critical weakness to them that allows them to become more vulnerable. They have simple programming that doesn't allow room for creativity or thinking outside the box. They are unable to handle any unorthodox tactics due to their processor being slow to respond to these uncommon ways of thinking and will halt for a moment because they are trying to respond leaving them vulnerable as stated.
  • Joint Vulnerability: The Toborro War Droid Marks have a more loose form to be able to have more maneuverability on the battlefield beyond what there size might suggest. This sacrifice of armor for mobility makes their joints extremely weak and fragile to repeated attacks upon them. Once past their armored shell; a few good hits can leave them unoperational and might destroy them given enough damage.
  • Weak to Melee: Although the Toborro War Droid Marks can use their cannon arms has blunt weapons if the situation requires it on the battlefield. They are not designed to engage in melee combat with extreme effectiveness. Leaving them vulnerable to military units that have training in that type of combat; especially if that person or group has advanced training in melee combat are able to defeat a number of these war droids on their own.
DESCRIPTION
The Toborro War Droid Mark 1 & 2 are the final concept thought of by the Militaristic Qunaalac Kajidic. Taking inspiration from the galaxy's droid armies and other specialized form of combat droids that the galaxy has fielded; the First Mark I Normal War Droid was put into production using a simple frame and weaponry added to it. Naturally this prototype wasn't as effective in combat as the finished product but it did well against all types of military units thrown at it at the time. The Finished Prototype was put into production after a round of redesign and testing that showed that the droid was a well rounded product that could handle a majority of the task thrown at it on the battlefield. Due to the immense cost of production; the marks only included basic programming to follow a set number of tactics that were fielded at the time; and the first batch was pressed into service as guard droids on Kor Qunaalac. An unfortunate break in at the Main Qunaalac Palace forced the Qunaalac Kajidic to develop the Mark II Pink Model to act as a commander to the Mark I; This model had semi-intelligence and could understand basic orders away from having it be issued to it; but they still had the problem of slow processing due to technological limitations at this time. Once the Mark II and I were finished production; they would be stationed on Nar Shaddaa and Nal Hutta to serve in the Hutt Palaces as Guard Combat Droids until the time came when the Hutt Republic needs a front line combat droid that can mix well with both infantry and vehicles. They preform well against infantry and stationary fortifications but are lacking against heavy vehicles and faster infantry units. Some limitations to this model is that it can't be deployed for any other job other than combat or guard duty without having difficulty with its basic programming of being a front line combat droid.
