Duel To Make a Point

The lightning seemed to mysteriously redirect straight to her blade, absorbing the lightning wholesale as, suddenly, Jonyna shifted one of her legs, allowing her to spin around midair, allowing her to readjust her angle, now striking with Lucy, the blade of her saber shining much brighter as she now aimed for his right arm. If she could cut through even the hand, she could disable it. With Lucy burning twice as hot as a normal saber, it should be able to cut through songsteel...

The lightning was not what he expected to have happen, the strike went directly into the right arm, more specifically the right hand as it was lopped off with a rather dramatic fashion. There went one of his weapons...and yet, he still had a few tricks left up his sleeve. With the right arm stubbed at the wrist, he let go as more of the right arm was sliced from the sword...with what remained of his right arm holding part of his left hand up with his palm severely outstretched. The eyes of the Sullustan glowed very brightly as his skin smoked harshly...and if the Cathar had any sense, it was to move out of the way...NOW.

The sith language was spoke and then a thunderous BOOM erupted once more as a wave like effect went forward around one hundred twenty degree arc. All around the area, a hurricane like force of wind blew through the area. Tree branches were shattered off, large trunks started to be upended, rocks flown through the air...it was almost impossible to see! Then the affect effect hit, a scorching heat erupted into the area as plant matter burnt to a near crisp, being disintegrated in the area with the Sullustan still falling and projecting this kind of power. Trees became charcoal, rocks became jewels...water became evaporated, the humidity was extremely high, the flowers themselves vanished from view, grass became nothing.

The left arm of the Sullustan turned to black when he did this, it was a near last resort tactic he had to use as he kept falling. Turning to try and cushion his fall...he found out the hard way something he did not know about the planet, one last image he saw in his mind before it went black rather quickly.

Trees branches were everywhere.

THUNK

The blast was definitely something Jonyna wasn't expecting, nor prepared for. However, the moment it hit, she focused entirely on enduring. She was sent flying, slamming into the ground and dragging through the torn up dirt back at least 30 feet. She had to grip her coat, allowing it to take most of the damage for her, as the inlayed wood tanking any incoming projectiles that impacted her. Downside, the coat would definitely need a resew as what wasn't burned away was now shredded. Upside, she wasn't dead.

She hoped he couldn't do that again.

She had to take a moment to take stock of what was left. She could feel her arm that had taken the brunt of the impact was disconnected. She could only grit her teeth as she forced the shoulder blade back into place. She tried to stand, but she could feel her once again broken right leg. For now, she'd use the force to keep her standing as she approached the Sullustan. Hopefully he was out for the count...

The wildlife seemed to chirp after a few moments, the Force seemed to be...overwhelming in the whole area. He had laid there, flatter than a stone and was unmoving as such. Blood poured from the top of the Sullustans head and above, it was obvious what happened. He had hit apparently, every single branch down as evident from the blood splatters around his outfit. His weapons seemed to be secured well for his robes, probably from years of training and lots of errors. But he was, without a doubt...out cold. Oddly if she went close...she could swear he was snoring slightly. Asleep?!

Jonyna stared for a moment, considering her options. Deep down, the predator within her considered the option of just stabbing him through the heart. No. Do Good. She needed to make sure he didn't suddenly wake up on the way back.

Maybe she'd just drag him back to the Veradune capital. They were close enough to the GA where she could go from there. Yeah. That was a plan....
