To Level the Playing Field

Ra was the representative of Helksa IV in the senate. After its initial meeting, founding and discussion, she had been allotted enough credits and human power to rebuild the Dark Trooper facilities there as well as a secure and warm living area for anybody that wanted to say on after.

This location provided jobs for people that wanted, a place to recover from what might be considered never ending bloodshed. Back in the days of the New Republic, after the fall of the Galactic Empire, the Dark Troopers were made here.

It was a place she didn't actually go to more often than maybe once a month. She would spend a few days there making sure everything was running smoothly and then leave. Time had passed and Ra felt that she should return and check on things.

There was a difference this trip, she wasn't arriving alone. One very fortunate and fateful trip to a slave market had ensured that. That fateful day on Tatooine had changed her life. For once, Ra had followed her emotions instead of thinking with her brain. Not that she regretted her choice, but it was different now. She had gotten engaged to a Jedi Knight and Tusken.

The situation was entirely new to her and Jakkor was guiding the Sith Lord through the process of courtship. The whole idea seemed totally paradoxical and silly, but she couldn't imagine it any other way.

Informing him of her duty to this ice ball, Ra invited him to join her in her tour of what could be considered a home of hers if she choice to stay. He had accepted her invitation and when she left Tatooine, he had come along with her.

Housing was fairly normal and nothing fancy. Her area was separate from the general population, but not so far removed as to be fully isolated. Since she had no family or children, the extra rooms there were almost empty. Her room was furnished and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and would be seen to be her favorite location. There was an entertainment room with almost anything wanted to keep the mind occupied. Two things her rooms lacked were much color and personality. This was not a place she frequented and a person could tell when they walked in the door.

Looking at him she opened the door and invited him in.

"It's not much, but it works for me."

Jakkor had left Tatooine along with his mate Ra. Even though they had not consumated their engagement, he still loved her nonetheless. To him Light Side, Dark Side, it did not matter at this point in time. At least with her, all that did matter was that they loved and so would try his best to act like a good man for her.

He had arrived on the frigid world of Helska IV. The world he was not accustomed to, and from what he was told was a place where the Empire built droids. He had misgivings about it, as it reminded him of his past, and so tried not to think about such things, as he had traveled from a scorching planet to a freezing one.

When he had entered inside, he was surprised to have seen such a furnished place, it was not grand by most standards but it did look nice. He then looked to his mate who said that it was not much but it was something. He looked to her still wearing the garbs of a Tusken but had removed the garbs of his mask upon entering. "You are fine dear, for now, this is home, our home. And that is what matters. Besides, there is no one around to bother us here."

@Ra'a'mah

Ra knew Jakkor's past, but was very happy when chose to join her on Helska. The few days they had been together on Tatooine and while travelling to Helska, she had gotten over her school girl nervousness for the most part. Once in a while it would kick in again though. She had grown more comfortable and confident around him and with that a return of her true personality.

He had accepted her then and continued to. Even though she was sith, that did not mean she fit the common perception of them. With him, she kept no façade up nor did she even try to keep her emotions secret. Whatever she felt about any situation would be clear to him. Yes, she was dark, but deep down she wasn't evil. All her choices were dictated by situations and while not evil, that did not mean she couldn't be. Given enough time, hopefully he knew this by now.

In her quarters, he would see no sign that this was a former Imperial station, but as stated before, it was devoid of her personality. He said it was fine for now and she accepted that at his word. It was home while they were here.

"So very true."

Walking into the front room, Ra took off her cloak and put it on the stand for it and moved into the kitchen. She had yet to have the opportunity to cook anything for him and took a quick inventory check to make sure what food that was left was still good.

"Do you want anything?"

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He had walked into the station, he was shocked to find that it was not the Imperial look that he had imagined. It had a look as one would imagine it to be a makeshift home. He found the thought slightly comforting, as he had walked in. He was still amused by her as by now she had lost all such school girl like nervousness. He was a bit disappointed but still, he would find other ways to see what she was like around.

He approached her quarters with a curiosity. He looked around and had admired the look of it all. He thought to himself about the room now being their bedroom, and then his thoughts started to drift elsewhere, but he had quickly put an end to such thoughts as soon as they drifted towards such things.

All in all, he knew that he could make a pleasant home with Ra. He then followed her to her to the main chamber, where she hung up the cloak she had on. She then did an inventory and then started to ask what he would like. He thought of several things, but then he decided to try something, as he gave a smirk and said. "Well not really, but I would love to see about getting you out of those cumbersome clothes."

@Ra'a'mah

As Ra took inventory of the food in the kitchen, she threw away what was obviously bad and added them to a list to get again. The other items she put back and neatened the kitchen up. Dusting off the counters and furnishings as Jakkor gave himself a tour of the rooms that they would be sharing.

This was new to her and she would need to start thinking of things as a partnership and not continue on as if there wasn't somebody in her life. Not just somebody, but a man she felt drawn to and had agreed to marry. That whole thing still shocked her. When she thought about it too much, that whole school girl crush thing kicked back in. Now she was done cleaning the kitchen, this came to the front of her mind.

She asked if he wanted anything and was entirely unprepared for his answer. If she would have been holding something, she's sure she would have dropped it. As it was, her face probably turned a dark red as she felt the heat a blush rising. Her heart also jumped up into the throat again.

Since his offer on Tatooine and their conversation there, she had gotten to know him better. This is the first real opportunity they have had since that day to be alone and it would be a bit of time they had before Ra completed her tour of the facilities and made sure everything was in running condition. Maybe it was time to explore this aspect of the relationship.

He appeared to be smirking as he spoke as if he knew how his words would effect her. Like he enjoyed putting her in this position. One where he knew it was new to her and liked the way she reacted.

"Love is such a strong emotion, Jakkor. Even now, I'm not sure it is real. But then again two years ago, Jedi were myths."

Jakkor had been the first Jedi Ra had ever seen, even with her actual past revealed that was still the case. Back then she didn't know she could use the Force and had learned about that soon after. She always remembered him though and wanted to know more still.

"Cumbersome? Yours appear to require more work than mine do."

She was unintentionally evading addressing his comment, but didn't realize it until after speaking. Getting a drink and taking a sip, Ra turned back to Jakkor before speaking again.

"I think the place needs to be a little warmer first."

With that, she turned the heater up a few degrees and returned to the kitchen.

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He had seen her blush, and could even swear he had heard a gulp. The whole things were amusing. He still finds her new nature all the more hilarious. She was still new to these type of emotions, that he had found it to be a regular thing to tease his significant other with teasing and suggestive comments, then watching her reaction as she tries to respond.

He had continued to watch her and then hear her speak of love, and how it felt for her to be with him. He felt flattered by it, even more so he never pictured to be with the girl he had found over a year ago. He found it all so new to him, and still couldn't be any more happier. He had found someone who he had no idea that could complete him, but still, it was all so new and unexpected for him.

As she finished and grabbed herself a drink while raising the temperature of the drink. He looked at her as he moved a bit closer to her. As he said to her "Well one can't really explain such things, my dear. What does matter now is that you belong to me." He said moving closer till his face was only inches from hers. He then moved in slowly to Kiss her deeply. Cupping both sides of her face.

@Ra'a'mah

She took a few sips of her drink and her heart went back down into her chest as she calmed down. Jakkor moved closer to her which was fine. It wasn't like they hadn't been close in their time together. They had just not been alone. There was always somebody around them. As she set the glass down, he was now just inches from her.

He said it was hard to explain things and she gave him a half smile in knowing what he meant. It didn't matter though since she was his and Ra felt he was hers. Nothing would keep them apart, not ideal differences or beliefs. When it came to matters of the heart, that didn't matter.

As she thought that, the realization finally hit her. Ra loved him, that strange, unidentifiable emotion that had been growing within her was love. She drew in a breath as Jakkor moved in closer, close enough she could feel his warm breath on her face. Ever so slowly, he cupped her face with his hands and kissed her for the first time.

When their lips touched, it felt like every nerve ending in her body went off. Like nothing she had ever felt before, even when she using the Force and all her emotions to accomplish something. She had been kissed before, but this one was different. There was emotion behind it and Ra returned the deep kiss. It felt right and perfect.

She closed her eyes in the kiss and reveled in the feelings it brought to her. It also left her speechless and she didn't want it to end.

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He kept pressing into the kiss. He was enjoying every minute or perhaps every second of it. Everything was moving so fast, Jakkor couldn't tell. It was perhaps one of the best things he had done with her so far. The Kiss was like liquid fire to him, and he had wanted more of it.

All the while he kept contemplating why he was in love with this woman. Perhaps it was because that when he had met her, she had seemed more like a girl to him, who he had barely known. Perhaps because she was drawn to him unknowingly. It didn't matter now, because right now all they had right now was each other, and to him, that was fine besides he never even wanted moments like this to end.

He kept deepening the kiss wanting more and more of her, as he moved his hands from her face, through her silvery hair. He had his eyes closed, as he drank in everything, her scent, her taste, her feeling. He explored it all as he loved her for everything she was. After some time he broke away the kiss and looked at her, his fingers going along her face.

@Ra'a'mah

With her eyes closed and relishing every moment, Ra relaxed almost entirely. Her arms went around Jakkor, almost moving of their own accord and she leaned into him. Her mind and emotions were a swirling cloud without an end or beginning.

Was this passion, love or both? Ra had no clue, but knew that whatever it was new to her. When he said love was hard to explain she had understood what he meant, but it had just been the words. If somebody were to ask how she felt at this moment, there were no words that could do it justice. No words that could express the feelings, the touch...any of it.

His hands went through her hair and their kiss grew in heat. Ra had no conscience thoughts or nothing she could coherently think at the moment. After what was likely brief seconds, Jakkor broke the kiss and their now open eyes met. Her gold eyes, not glowing with the Force would almost appear to be though. They were one of her few tells on her emotions and what she was feeling. Not something she could control so didn't even try.

When the kiss broke, she drew in a few quick shaky breaths and looked her mate.

"I think I'll take you up on that offer you made on Tatooine..."

She might be a sith lord, but not today. Today, she was a simple woman with the man she loved.

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He felt calmer, and at peace then he had in his entire life. He merely just stood there, and let all of the experience sink in. To him right now this was no Sith, but a woman. A woman that he would love and protect whenever he could.

He caught his breath after sometime breaking the kiss. He looked to her, as she was catching her breath as well, and then told him that she had wanted to take him up on the offer that he had made on Tatooine. He blinked for a moment caught off guard. He didn't even know if she had experienced what he had offered before, and so found this to be a complete surprise.

He took her hand lovingly and said to her. "Let's go then to your room." He then took her from the main room, and walked down the hall to the bedroom, where he had decided to close the door, he then looked at her as he spoke. "Are you sure you want to do this, have you ever done something like this before?" He said merely inches from her.

@Ra'a'mah

Both of them stood looking at the other as they caught their breath. The words Ra said caught him by surprise and he blinked it away. He took her hand gently and said they would go to her room. She did not hesitate before speaking.

"Not just my room anymore, my love. It is ours."

Keeping the gentle hold on her, Jakkor would lead her through their place on Helska and into the bedroom. Closing the door, they stood bare inches from each other. He asked if she was positive she wanted to do this and if she had done anything like it before.

Her free hand she placed on the side of his face, the back caressing his cheek before she spoke. Her voice was not scared or hesitant, just soft and quiet. For a brief moment, the awkward, crushing girl wanted to surface again, but it was pushed away. This was not the time to show that.

"Yes I am and no I have not."

Golden eyes looked into his as she said these words of truth and he would know that.

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He looked at her nervously. He had never thought he would be around a Sith in such an intimate way, but with Jakkor for right now that didn't matter. What did matter was that he was the one whom he had considered his mate? They were both catching their breaths, as she had moved her fingers to caress his face gently and lovingly. As she looked to him. He never noticed how beautiful she looked to him.

He listened to her closely and so blushed a bit. She had not known such pleasures of the flesh, and so he was kind of nervous himself. This wasn't his first go around, but with his new mate however who had never known such things, the nervousness was still there. He placed his hand on her's that was touching his face.

He looked at her as he said softly. "Allow me to show you, my love." He said kissing her deeply and moving her to the bed, he sat down and made sure she didn't trip as he allowed his hands to caress her body as he kept kissing her deeply.

@Ra'a'mah

After Ra answered his question, he looked at her, his hand reaching up to hers. Oddly she felt his was nervous. She was well, but that was understandable to her. Instead of her blushing he was and she smiled at him.

In a tone that was equally as quiet as hers had been, he didn't exactly request he be allowed to show her, but that was how he phrased what he said.

With his words, they moved as one to the bed. Kissing deeply, but gentle and holding hands. Jakkor was careful to ensure Ra did not trip or fall as he guided her and sat down on the bed.

His hands ran across her body over her clothes, leaving a path of heat behind. Their kiss continued throughout this, remaining deep and strong. For the first time, Ra felt loved and needed. This was not something she ever expected to happen to her, had never dreamed it would. Now in the arms of a man she met two years ago, a Jedi whom she loved, she knew this was where they were meant to be.

She closed her eyes and allowed this new emotion to fill her. Embracing both it and Jakkor, Ra allowed her hands to feel him.

Her sith master had told her not to allow her emotions to rule her as she worked, but to embrace them and use them to fuel her. This is what she did now, only she was not alone. Her hand again caressing his cheek, Ra broke the kiss for just a moment.

"Jakkor, I love you."

Her flesh now covered in goosebumps as she spoke those words with meaning for the first time in her life and hopefully not the last.

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

Jakkor kept kissing her, cupping her cheeks, getting a feel for her skin. He never wanted this moment to end, he had wanted this for a while now. He had never thought he would find love again, but now he would never let such a thing go. He kept kissing her as if his life depended upon it, it was gentle at first but he kept pushing the kiss deeper all the more never wanting the moment to end.

He thought such a thing like this was impossible, he never thought that he would love the thing he despised the most, the thing that had ruined his life for the most part. But such things hardly mattered now. His heart could rest easy, it wouldn't turn out as bad as what happened with his former master, he at least hoped that much.

When she broke the kiss to tell him, that she loved him, he smiled and told her. "I love you too Ra." He said kissing her once again as he moved his hands slowly to remove her clothing, or at least try to.

@Ra'a'mah

Closing her eyes, Ra took a very deep breath, just taking in the scent that was her love. She stood in his arms as he sat on the bed. Her logical thoughts she pushed away. The ones that spoke to her that this couldn't be happening, ones that had kept her back before saying love wasn't meant for her. These thoughts she had listened to before and she had pushed any potential relationships away, not this time.

The man holding her in his arms had been a part of her life longer than anybody else she had known since her memory had been wiped by her master. She wasn't about to give him up now. Even if he hadn't noticed her then, she had him and had been drawn to him since. Even having different views on certain subjects, it would just add spice to their relationship. A couple that agreed on everything all the time would be boring. This would not be that and Ra knew she would be happy with Jakkor.

In the moments it took for this pass through her mind and say she loved him and hear that he loved her too. They continued to kiss, her hands went over his hair and she ran her fingers through what she could. Taking just a moment, she reached one of her hands behind her back and plucked the ball off the end of her braid. Tossing it across the room so they wouldn't accidently step on it, Ra felt Jakkor's hands start to remove her clothing.

In an attempt to assist, she went and removed her weapons. The two sabers she had up her sleeves, the double saber hilt and her blaster went to the floor. Taking the idea from him, she then attempted to figure out how to start removing his clothes.

Her heart went back into her throat for a moment before she spoke again. It was a mere whisper, "I have no idea what to do."

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He enjoyed how her fingers went through his hair, practically urging him to deepen the kiss and so he did. This was what seemed to him like a dream, he would not allow such a wonderful thing to end. He kept running his fingers through her hair, his eyes closed as he let himself fill everything, the taste, the feeling, the scent. This was all still surreal to him.

He then saw her aid him with trying to remove her clothing, and for a moment was mentally shocked at how many weapons she carried. That didn't matter he would not let anything ruin this moment, or what would happen afterward, and so tried his best to remove all her clothing, hoping not to find any weapons she had left in the process, and almost chuckled as she tried to remove his own robes.

He almost laughed as she spoke to him in a whisper. When she had spoken saying she had no idea what to do. He smiled at her and rubbed her cheek softly with one of his hands. He spoke in a gentle and loving tone, as he still kept the same smile at her. "Don't worry my love. Let nature take it's course do with what you feel is right." He said giving her a gentle kiss, both of their clothes on the floor.

@Ra'a'mah

Their kiss got stronger and more passionate, her breath almost caught in her throat as at times it still felt like her heart was in it. Ra wondered if this sensation would ever go away. She knew the emotions and feelings would always be there and wondered about the sensations too.

Would his hands always leave trails of heat when he touched her or his breath raise the hairs on her body? If she was asked, she would say she never wanted it to end. She would always want to have this with him. Though time would pass, Ra wanted this love and passion to endure. She knew that while they both lived, nothing would come in their way. Together they would get through anything.

When he spoke his reply and caressed her cheek, she probably blushed a little and the little girl crushing threatened to resurface again. She felt some humor rising off Jakkor and looked down at him with sparkling gold eyes. They weren't full of the Force, but with her personal feelings. He was smiling, but his words made sense. There wasn't a need to overthink this, to just allow nature to take its natural course.

Returning his smile, she sat down on the bed to take off her boots.

"I can't figure out yours, you do it."

Now she started laughing at just how silly that sounded in her ears.

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

He could read her emotions, and almost wanted to laugh, he found it amusing that his simple touch could make her blush or even spawn such cute responses to come from her. He knew that she was a keeper, and he would have never thought the girl that he had met years ago, would be with him in this position as they were in right now.

He knew that she would be his new mate, perhaps one to bear his children, that he didn't know as he had often remembered having a similar life with his master. The thought of his master was nothing but a bad memory, especially the offspring he had shared with her. For now, he didn't want to think of that, all that mattered was the silver-haired beauty sitting in front of him, not to mention looking extremely cute at the moment.

He then laughed as she told him that he do what he had said earlier. She sounded like a teenager at the moment, it was so humorous to him at this moment. With his bare body, he looked to her and said with a hint of both love and mischief. "Sure my love." He pushed her gently down on the bed and got on top of her. He knew what to do from experience and let nature run its course.

@Ra'a'mah

Ra did not bother to keep any of her emotions hidden from Jakkor. She loved him and would never keep something hidden from him. In her heart, she knew they were meant to be together, though her mind might try to disagree with it. Since learning of her true past, she had learned to listen to her heart more and today was no exception. She pushed her rebelling thoughts away and laid down when Jakkor gently pushed her.

Without any knowledge of what to do, Ra allowed both nature and Jakkor to control the situation. She moved her body when it felt right to do so and the feeling of his skin on hers filled her entirely with a warmth she had never imagined possible. The man she knew she was going to marry guided her through everything. With motions, gentle words and natural actions, Jakkor taught Ra about what it was to be loved, needed, cherished and explored. He taught her the pleasure of the body and soul. Together they learned what it was like to be with the other and connected closer than they had ever been before.

The last thing Ra knew of the night was flipping the light off with a wave of her hand and the feeling of Jakkor's arms wrapped around her as they fell asleep.

[member="Jakkor Kess"]

That night was filled with passion and a deep connection one had not experienced before. The woman he loved looked even more beautiful when she was free in her skin, then in clothing. He enjoyed the night, and what he could remember it must have lasted hours, as the last thing he could remember was passing out and a heap of sweat and flesh, bodies both entangled. She waved her hand and with the force the lights went out.

After several hours, or perhaps for the rest of the night he had awakened. His eyes greeted by the sight of her wonderful body and allowed his hands to caress her, smiling gently as he had remembered what had happened. Both of them finally became one with one another, a wonderful occasion, it was something that he could not even forget.

He laid there still holding her. The sheets and covers were unkempt, and sweat still covered their bodies. He became careful not to wake her as his mind drifted off to what had happened the previous night.
