Cassius Droma
Jedi Archaeologist

Darkness had fallen over Theed a few hours ago – the vendors had closed up shop, the rowdy kids were in bed, and the citizenry were taking their last little walks before turning in for the night. The tiled streets still reflected the light of the street lamps beautifully, but Cassius Droma had found a nice little dark corner to reflect in. Simple Jedi robes rustled in the breeze as he leaned against the stone railing that kept him from falling down the cliff face below, the Royal Palace only about a hundred meters away.
His eyes closed, he felt the light wind on his face, and listened to the rushing waterfall not too far away. He’d heard so many stories about Naboo and its beauty, and had wanted to come see it for himself for some time, but too many things had gotten in the way. Whether it was Jedi training, a grand battle, or being stuck on a dark stormy world for almost a year, it always seemed like something would crop up to prevent him from taking time off.
Here he was, though, about three days in, and loving every minute of it. He’d gotten a hotel room that overlooked the beautiful landscape that Theed stood proudly over. The food was good. The people were kind and courteous.
This was paradise.

A lithe figure, clad in all black, moved across the rotunda of one of the Royal Palace’s many structures, crouching low and carefully stepping from heel to toe in order to remain silent. Nearly two hours of climbing up the side of the cliff face to the palace would have left him exhausted, but adrenaline was pushing him forward. The thrill of the chase, of sneaking into a place where he wasn’t allowed… that’s what kept him going.
Effortlessly stepping into a small decorative lintel that jutted out from the top of a window, he pressed himself against the wall as a guard passed by – exactly when he should have. Looking down at his chronometer, the young thief checked the time. The guard change was happening now. Time to move.
He swung himself down to the window below, only his toes on the sill as he reached into his pocket and retrieved the device that would unlock the window without sounding any alarms. A soft click allowed him entry. Opening the window, he slinked through, closing it behind him.
He was in. The thin thief had picked his entry point carefully, so he didn’t have to go bouncing throughout the palace to get where he wanted to be. His expressionless gaze scanned the area around him, his green-lensed night vision goggles and black mask obscuring his face. This room apparently had some items of great importance – which items, his contact couldn’t or wouldn’t say. Or she just didn’t know. Either way, the information seemed to have paid off.
What his contact had neglected to tell him was that this room was directly adjacent to the bedroom of the Queen of Naboo – [member="Jamie Pyne"].
