Pillar of Education | Inquisitor | General
The Dreadnought, Staunch Avenger suddenly dropped out of hyperspace near Korbin and an unmarked transport ship embarked from its hangar, before the massive vessel jumped to lightspeed and vanished from the sector. The transport made a streamline approach toward Korbin, a planet without any known alliances nor governing defenses, but that doesn't give them freedom to hide their resources from the Sith Empire! Once descended down through the atmosphere, the Sith continued their approach under any potential radar detection, and flew towards the long abandoned mining region.
Zeptepi Zambrano, Sith Lord and General to the Empire, gazed over the intercepted encoded subspace message for the exact coordinates one last time, her data pad showing a crude hand-drawn map of sublevels, piled upon more and more sublevels, and cryptic markings yet undeciphered. Concerning what these notes might regard, her instincts did not yet peak on the matter. What intel could agree upon, is the general meaning behind the message; that there is a secret laboratory deep under ground, masquerading as an obsolete remnant of a historical facility, but in actuality is working on a secret battleship configuration, one they intend to conceal from the rest of the Galaxy, including the Sith.
Three personal Guards accompanied their Mistress on her confiscation of potential contraband. They operated as an extension of her, as she connects with them telepathically. The transport ship lowered into a nearby ravine, adequately concealed by an overgrowth of foliage. Upon trekking out across the ramp, the smell of Kyrf immediately filled her senses. She lead her men on a quickened approach under cloak, the entrance looming in the distance, dug into the base of a rock mound, supported by a camouflaged durasteel arch. Rogue sentinels stood stationed at its entrance. The Sith stormed into the first chamber, unseen.
Zeptepi halted in her steps and her guards followed suit. She looked over the vast room, allowing the presence of the Sith to be known. Their appearance should have stuck terror, and obedience, into the hearts of those conducting operations here. Instead, they reached for their weapons. Zeptepi waved a hand ever so slightly in an instant, she pumped her fist once, and the pirates within this first chamber dropped dead onto the cold stone ground.
Further into the labyrinth, the Sith would travel.
