Born on the world of Emberlene, Vera was raised from a young age to be something special. During her late youth she was inducted into the vaunted Mistryl Shadow Guards.
It wasn't long after this her group met General Kaine Australis, who offered her group a choice, to join his Clan and serve a greater cause. Vera and her sisters became the Night Witches. Because of her Force talents, Vera also trained with the Mandalorian Knights briefly, before being secretly apprenticed to a Master who did not exist; Akita Silasrune, and made many covert trips to Wayland to meet with him.
Welcomed with open arms by the extended Mandalorian family, and offered the opportunities for further training and experience, the former Shadow guard excelled within the Mandalorian military. Succeeding with basic training on the world of Myrkr, she began her service with the 3rd Battalion; the Night Witches.
The tight-knit Mistryl sisterhood had the benefits of extra training and access to better equipment and support that a group of the prestige of the Night Witches provided. They had respect as well, even from the veteran Mando'ade.
Not long after Hammerfall, Vera rose to command of the Night Witches, after many of the sisters were killed during Operation Hammerfall. She began further training under Cerani; intel director for Clan Australis, let in on some of the Clan's more closely guarded secrets. Additionally, she contined her training with her master; Akita Silasrune of the Cuy'val Dar.
Eventually, rising to the intelligence rank of Director, Vera took a position within The Network, dedicated to the destruction of the Sith Empire.
