Charting new Paths
Unfortunately I've had some pretty bad business come up recently and am going to be taking a partial LOA.
My uncle's been passing out a lot lately, falling, and the like. We took him to the doctor Monday and his brain cancer has come back. The tumors are inoperable and the swelling is pretty bad. Its terminal and only a matter of days. We are setting his hospice up at home; this is where he wants to go, so we are making him comfortable for, well we don't honestly know how much longer he has left. So I am going to be doing my usual doctor and emotional healer shtick with my family again, anytime someone dies.
This is the second uncle to die this year and my aunt went only two months ago, so there's gonna be lots of tears for me to help dry.
In addition my kid brother has recently had an operation on his toe. It looks infected now--quite badly. For those of you who are weak of the stomach, I will spare you the details, but right now I am afraid its gonna have to be removed. As some of you know, I was raised on Ramen and food stamps so we don't have the cash to pay for tons of medical bills..... and insurance refuses to cover most of if after the "Better Healthcare Reform Act" *Mutters politically charged but indistinguishable statement under breath*
As a result, I'm going to have to take up a job to cover medical, death costs, etc when I am not carrying medical supplies or giving hugs to the weeping. Frankly, not how I envisioned the Christmas break. At all. Posting is gonna be slow but I will do my best guys. Promise. Y'all are fun to be with. Some will be given priority like [member="Sasha Voss"] with what we have going--and those at Justice Shipping, keep up the good work. Keep having fun. Don't let me hold you back.
Stay cool guys and fly casual.
