- High-Power Scanning Package: The Tionas-class is fitted with a High-Power Scanning Package, allowing the light craft to have both longer range and more accurate tracking and scanning of other vessels. The scanners were mounted to allow the FACs to stand off and assess a situation before charging in to strike.

An evolution of Concord Specialized Technologies Enigma-class FAC, the Tionas-class, named for the Mando'a word for "Puzzle," is a next generation fast attack corvette. Designed for quick, slicing attacks against larger ships, the vessel possesses powerful weapons and great speed that allow it to quickly perform these strikes. The primary armament consists of a pair of Varactyl twin heavy turbolasers, and a pair of heavy universal launch tubes, giving it the same impressive laser fire, while having better munitions launchers than the former Enigma. Along with this, the Tionas is faster, without relying on a SLAM system. One of the main features added was the high-power scanners. With the expectation that these craft might have to operate more independently than the Enigma-class ever did, a better scanner package was added to the craft, allowing it keep an eye on large areas of space with more accuracy than most combat corvettes. The vessel also features four twin particle turrets.
While the Tionas-class is a strong ship, it does have many weaknesses. For one, like the Enigma, the primary weapons are forward facing, and have a limited firing arc. Along with this, it's lighter armor and shields make it more vulnerable. Combined with a smaller size that forces systems to be closely packed and this can lead to hits causing much more damage than an average corvette would have. Overall though, the vessel is highly capable at its role.
