PERSONAL FLIGHT LOG – Entry #05112026
Location
: – Naboo Jedi Temple Landing Pad (ugh)
Assigned Craft: Normally My X-wing
Astromech Partner: BRED (BB-30)
Current Mood: Bugged
Background Noise: I can never hear anything over the spherical Diva.

I swear. I don’t know how many favors I could owe Connel, but he keeps calling them in. I need to keep better track of them.

“Wooo-beeep.” [Translation: Understatement of the millennium.]

Rude… I just don’t understand why he wants me to inspect his “"Jedi Defender" Corvette“ I mean, he taught ME how to fix the thing.

“Weeep-bwoo.” [Translation: I’d say he appreciates your smarts but...]

… oh shut up, BRED. Anyway I’m going over this thing and there’s nothing to fix, this puppy is as airworthy as it gets. What gives?

“Chrrp.” [Translation: Sound like your imaginary girlfriend.]

Michael A.
She’s not imaginary!

There were certain things that Cerys had learned when she was on her little jaunty, food deprived, bungling runaway from the Jedi Order. The primary lesson was that she really needed to learn to fly and get her own ship. With those two things in place, it would have been a whole lot easier to maintain her "run away" status. It would have sure beat working small jobs to save up for public transport.

"Are you the pilot assigned to give me lessons?" Cerys said, arms crossed in her normal preset defiance.

She recognised him, from her early days in the Republic's Jedi Order. Back then he had a way of...not being a great Jedi. Hopefully, he was a better pilot.

I’m gonna kill him.

“Wooo-beeep.” [Translation: What are you talking about? .]

Connel! I’m not going to call him what he is because that disrespects Auntie Chrysa! That jerk set me up!

“Weeep-bwoo.” [Translation: You’re more paranoid than HE is!]

Am I? He KNOWS I don’t want to be back here. He KNOWS I don't want to stay and he does THIS? “Fix” a working ship?

“Chrrp.” [Translation: I remember her. Think about that. Have you actually stopped all of your crazy ramblings to think about this? That maybe, JUST MAYBE, he might want you to make a friend outside the cockpit?]

I have friends! I have Striker Squadron! I have …

“Woop-bweep.” [Translation: Who else? Go ahead, I’ll wait..]

Stangit.

I remember you. Dyn right?
Michael A.
This is going to be… interesting.

EPISODE – Entry # 1 (No! Not some “Phantom Menace!)
Location
: – In front of Connel’s Defender
Assigned Craft: My X-wing
Astromech Partner: BRED (BB-30)
Current Mood: Mad at Connel for setting my butt up
Background Noise: I can’t hear anything over the spherical Diva.

Yeah, their huge for just one person, but if you got an astromech, or know your way around a computer, you’ll be good.
“Wooo-beeep.” [Translation: Great! We’re gonna die… and you can’t even teach the girl right.]

Michael just looked off at the loading ramp where BB-430 “BRED” his astromech droid had just rolled up. Why don’t you try and be nice for once!

SCENE- Later in the day. Michael and BRED are sitting in the common area of the ship facing a holocamera, and Michael looks at BRED. Okay, I have to admit, that “not in my programming” line was really funny.
“Wooo-beeep.” [Translation: See? You just have to understand my comedic genius!]

As well as humility.

Michael just rolled his eyes at BRED and waved for Cerys to follow. Don’t mind him, he lost a fight with a toaster. Anyway, you should NEVER fully trust a ground crew. Every one is GREAT, don’t get me wrong, but if YOU fly something, YOU should know everything is good or bad, if that makes sense. So let’s take a “pre-flight walk”.

Walking around, showing her what to check and what she can “not worry about” when it comes to general ship systems, he pointed out what is most important when it comes to the Defender Corvette. One thing different about these, compared to other ships… like an X-wing for example… most ships have repulsor engines that are connected to each other. “Defenders” are independent… so you have to check each one. A little tedious… but meh.
CUTTO SCENE- Same scene later in the day. Michael and BRED are sitting in the common area of the ship facing a holocamera, this time it’s BRED that looks at Michael. “Wooo-beeep.” [Translation: “Meh”?]

What? I hate this ship.
“Weep-boop.” [Translation: You are such a dork… don’t let Connel hear you say that..]

Don’t hesitate to let me know if I’m going too fast. I tend to ramble… want to check out inside? How are you doing by the way?
