Til' Valhalla, old friend

Sergeant Valkren Calderon moved down the narrow corridor that was the walkway between seats on the B-25 Drop ship that had been dubbed Meteor One. His right hand gripped tightly onto the stock of his 'Valor' assault blaster, his helmet in his left. As he made his way down the pathway, he passed by a mix of Ex-Galactic Republic special forces operators, marines, and several corpsmen. All of the men and women onboard had been well prepared for this mission hours before they were required to be onboard one of the three drop ships that rested in the The Atlas's hangar.

"Jump in thirty minutes" A voice boomed through the intercom system, alerting the crew of the Spewer-Class Assault ship of their impending FTL jump to their objective.

After hearing this, most of the soldiers onboard Meteor One had settled into their marked seats, bringing individual bars down over their chest plates to keep themselves in place. All their weapons were locked into place next to them; consisting of a solid mix of assault blasters, slug throwers, and rotary cannons, this making for a lethal assault element. Soon after the intercom transmission, Valkren had placed his own weapon into it's locked place at the front of the ship, turning to make his way back to the ship's rear ramp where the Hangar's 'mini-boss' was waiting for the Sergeant.

"What's the good word, chief?" Valkren spoke to the female 'sailor' that was in charge of the flight patterns that left and came to the the Atlas. She took her eyes away from the datapad that she was checking over so intensely, and for good reason. These remnants of the Galactic Republic were to assault a drifting pirate frigate that had taken a stop just outside of Nar Shaddaa space to take time to repair itself from a previous engagement. The ship was dead in the water, but that didn't mean it didn't have any firing capabilities. They were pulling a very risky operation here, going in solo with their assault ship to take on the frigate with boarding parties and the Atlas's weapons systems. In fact, the sergeant knew all too well that most of the men aboard the three dropships would not make it back from the frigate, but that's why he called for some 'extra' help.

"Meteor Two and Three are all prepared, got yourself three 'Cans-of-Whoop-ass,' here sarge. Wheres this 'secret' weapon you were talkin' about son?"

Valkren simply answered her question with a smile, looking past her and taking a few steps off of the ramp. His combat boots hitting the flooring of the hangar with a thud, his armor adding quite abit of weight to his steps. "Here he comes now." He spoke of Valkyrien Aurelios as Calderon watched him approach the ship.
