Tigris was born in 48 BBY on the Core planet of Recopia, the daughter of immigrant Atrisian artisans. Like other unfortunate children on that planet born with a connection to the Force, Tigris was kidnapped by the Seyugi Dervishes, a mysterious Dark Side coven that roamed the planet in giant repulsorlift barges. Raised and trained by the Seyugi, Tigris became an expert infiltrator and assassin.
HISTORY
Shortly before the Clone Wars, the Jedi hunted the Seyugi to near extinction. Many surviving Seyugi returned to their homeworld where they froze themselves in carbonite. They remained hidden and guarded by their descendants, the Mallif monks.
One of those frozen Dervishes, Tigris, was smuggled away and sold by a corrupt Mallif monk. She became the prize in a long line of crime lords. Finally, a resentful slave released Tigris from the carbonite and helped her escape.
Resourceful and determined, she overcame severe hibernation sickness and a lack of knowledge of the modern galaxy to become a highly sought-after spy, sabatuer and assassin. But she was haunted by the past. And in the absence of the cult that was her family, there was an emptiness to her work.
Then she ecountered an old enemy, a Jedi. Wandering Jedi Taam Moghul engaged her in an intense battle. Defeating her Taam was able to leverage her doubts about her own lost identity, and turned her to the Light. He convinced her to follow the Jedi path. Taam refused to take her on for training, citing reasons of his own, but delivered her for training as a padawan to the Jakku Jedi Enclave.

APPEARANCE
Tigris' stature is slight and waifish. Though her size gives the impression that she might blow away in a stiff wind, the woman possesses a physique of corded sinews and whipcord muscle wrapped around solid bone. Her body is honed to move as quick and with as much sting as a lightwhip.
Her features are sharp and angular, with dark almond-shaped eyes framed in raven black hair. Most of her body is covered in mysterious tattoos
Never comfortable in the confines of full robes, Tigris prefers sleeveless and slitted robes that allow her limbs freedom of movement, or garments more suited to stealth. Casually, she prefers light, unobtrusive clothing.
With emotions tightly held, Tigris' features offer little to suggest her thoughts or opinions in public forums, but in more personal encounters, a smirk, a knitting of the brows or the upturned corner of her plush lips can betray some of what is on her mind. The closest of acquaintances are afforded more freedom to see what lies behind the former Darksider.

NOTABLE SKILLS
The majority of Tigris' most useful skills were learned as a Seyugi Dervish assassin, These are the most notable.
Seyugi Martial Art Form. This forgotten form of unarmed combat was said by survivors to be a "beautiful dance of death." The Seyugi could kill with nothing more than this lethal technique. Tigris is an expert in this practice.
Anatomical Strikes. The Seyugi studied the anatomy of a variety of species in order to be able to strike at major nerve clusters for greater damage in combat.
Stealth. Infiltration was the forte of the Seyugi, infiltrating a location with remarkable speed and stealth. Intense training and the use of the Force renders Tigris a mere shadow when employing this ancient art.

STRENGTHS:
Physical Prowess: Through intense physical discipline and the Force, Tigris' body is kept in pique condition. She is agile, strong and acrobatic.
Mental Control: Patience, concealment of emotions, avoidance of random acts of violence and a aversion to chaos was a trademark of the Seyugi that Tigris continues to practice.
WEAKNESSES:
Anachronism: Tigris' displacement in time has made acclimation to the modern galaxy difficult. This often leaves her feeling lonely and melancholy.
Night-Terrors: Tigris is still haunted by gruesome nightmares of her victims tearing at her flesh. They are so life-like and traumatic that it shakes her to her core, almost to the point of incapacitation. -
As a Seyugi Dervish, Tigris was thoroughly trained to use the Force, especially its Dark Side powers, in the honing of her body as a weapon and in her nefarious work as a saboteur and an assassin. Her skill in these abilities ranged from expert to master. She was especially gifted in the disciplines that involved manipulating objects, influencing other beings, and affecting the environment.The Force
Now, as a Jedi and a follower of Light, Tigris has abandoned those talents that drew from the Dark Side. But those that do not lean to one alignment or the other she maintains. Meanwhile, new gifts have begun to emerge. Whether from her rather unique background, mental discipline or something within her, Tigris has shown strong innate abilities in specific forms of visions and sensings that span even space and time.
