Description: Circe Savan had acquired stygium from Aeten II during the Sith attempt to conquer the planet, and this stygium was of course going to be put to use. Some was to be utilized for the Gorgon, in order to fit it with a cloaking device, but the majority of it was to be put towards the development of Imperial stealth fighters. The result was the development of the TIE Spectre, a TIE Fighter roughly based off of both the TIE Phantom and the ancient Dagger-class starfighter, both of which were designed by Seinar Fleet Systems.
The TIE Spectre was developed with a Dagger as the basic framework. All engines and other systems were removed, being replaced with new engines and modern-day avionics. Three heavy laser cannons were placed around the cockpit, providing the Spectre with respectable armament, and as a standard fighter, it has rather typical performance.
However, as a result of the cloaking device, the Spectre carries absolutely no missiles. It is interceptor-armed, but has the performance of a standard fighter. If caught without its cloak on, it is exceptionally vulnerable, and as well is vulnerable to magnetic and gravimetric sensor systems despite its cloak. And it of course needs to decloak to fire.
