SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Cockpit: Navigation officer, communications officer work with the pilot. Often the navigator works as a co-pilot as the communications officer plays dual role tactical assisting the navigation officer with bomb drop alignments, and tagging enemy units for gunners to target.

  • Bomb Bay Alpha: Primary bomb bay rests behind the cockpit, a loader is responsible for ensuring the automated system has munitions to grab from.

  • Bomb Bay Delta: Secondary bomb bay rests behind Alpha, a loader is responsible for ensuring the automated system has munitions to grab from.

  • Gunner’s Nest: Small and cramped, room for a singular gunner - enables the Reign to fight off would be pursuers.

  • Missile Launchers: Plasma torpedoes, flechette torpedoes, advanced homing missiles are among some of the ordinances that the Castle can hold. Chosen ordinances are loaded prior to launch and are dependent on mission.

  • Munitions: Reinforced Doonium keeps the munitions separated safely with a micro shield emitter, until a loader is able to take them and place them into the appropriate bomb bay.

Strengths:

  • Bombs Away: Running with two bomb bays, the Reign is once again ready to subjugate, dominate and show the galaxy the might of the First Order.

  • New Software: With the Huginn Biocomm Network installed this enables the crews to implement improved electronic countermeasures.
Weaknesses:

  • Frozen: The Bomber suffers from the inherited problem from her engines, although unlike most starships who might have a secondary engine. The Reign does not and if her engines fail, the crew of the bomber are lost or worse - an ugly mess from the sympathetic detonation.
Slower: Just as before the Reign is slower than most bombers and requires escorts, she’s not so easily maneuverable which makes her a little frustrating to pilot.

Description:
The First Order needed a more versatile bomber than what it previously had. Approached by the General of the Starfighters and his Air Marshals, Fiolette Yvarro sat down and made a call to the blonde bomber. The Governor of Bespin Aurelia Volcata who also happened to own Sienar-Jaemus Fleet Systems. Together the group via holo-conference took the plans from the Reign bomber and with the Governor's support the old TIE Interdictor or Punisher.

From here the design process and eventual models, even prototype productions took time and was halted just before the Galactic Alliance’s invasion of Bespin. Afterward the team met at a Sienar-Jaemus office on Sor Yusan where details for the final model were put together. Taking parts of the old plans and older model Reign. The TIE RB19 (XIX) was complete, her load out would be more modular than the last and she would see an increase in her defenses allowing her just a little more time to reach her targets.

Yvarro also included one other item to the new Reign, an aft-launched gravity mine launcher enabling the bomber to create a way to keep their targets within range. Also installed would be the new crystal fused engine making the Reign once more, a more efficient bomber and allowing her turbolaser systems to take advantage of the engine’s boosts. The First Order also decided to create a triple-redundancy circuit system when they installed the heuristic processors to ensure a greater accuracy on launches and to greatly improved the bomber’s overall efficiency.

Note: PCs who decide to use the Reign II as squadrons, must state which load out they will be carrying prior to launch. You cannot, may not, simply change your load out mid-run. If you want to change the bomber’s load out you must return to your hangar or a facility that can assist with this. Otherwise it will be assumed you are running with the default load out.
