Limited Hover Prepulsion
Strengths:
Large: A Thunderer is built to carry large individuals into combat reliably. Finally, a speeder built for the big guys!
Tough to Kill: A Thunderer is designed from the ground up to be difficult to dismantle. It's tires are made of heavy rubber, difficult to pierce, and most important systems are protected by Durasteel casing.
Big Guns: The two sets of blasters mounted to the front of the Thunderer can be devastating, and can easily turn the tide in a battle.
Leaping Lizards!: This motorcycle can use it's limited Hover Prepulsion to jump to an extent of 3 meters.
Weaknesses:
Loud: While this can be an upside, sending dread into the hearts of the enemy, the sounds of roaring engines won't be stealthing any time soon.
Lock n' Load: While the blaster rifles can swivel, the laser cannons are in a fixed position, as to deal with the recoil. Therefore, they are difficult to aim at small targets. They are best used against bigger targets, or while the Thunderers are in a straight line.
Grounded: While limited propulsion systems can let this bike jump to an extent of 3 meters, this is essentially a ground vehicle, and difficult terrain such as mud and obstacles can heavily hamper it's mobility.
No Cockpit: While the bike itself is heavily armored, the rider has no extra protections besides the armor they wear. Considering the size of those that would ride it, they are usually quite armored anyways, but no amount of troop protection will help one against a stray cannon shot.
Description:
As the Goliath Company grew in strength, Ghorua realized the group of thugs could use some quicker transportation. Considering no one seemed to be in the market for giving bikes to larger individuals, Ghorua and a few other inventors came up with the Thunderer, a terrifying monster of a motorcycle for terrifying monsters.
The Thunder-Class Heavy Cycle is primarily deployed in combat against large numbers of enemies, as forerunners of shock-troops and demoralizers. Not much is scarier in the galaxy than a Wookiee riding one of these things. They are designed to charge into combat, blasting what's ahead of them. Whatever they miss, they run over. The weight of a Thunderer is enough to kill almost anything unfortunate enough to get caught under it's tires.
While it succeeds in open combat, and is adept at flanking maneuvers, a lone Thunderer split off from it's pack can be easily skirted around, as it has no rear-mounted weaponry, and destroyed. It is also weak against faster speeders, as it in comparison is relatively slow. A tactical enemy could use the terrain to their adventage, taking away the mobility of the bikes, and dismantling them.
