STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum):
Thresco is a smart individual that can quickly adapt to a situation in an attempt at making the best out of it. As a former member of the Solus Ara, a former bodyguard/mercenary and a student of mechanics, ship-building, a mineral expert and recently also adding survivalist to his list, there are a great many things he excels at. Hunting, disemboweling, skinning, cooking, crafting, building, brawling, haggling, patching himself up and outthinking others are just a few of the things he had forced himself to learn in order to survive in an unforgiving galaxy. Having created the blueprints for his own armor, weaponry, ammunition, corvette-class ship and on-board AI, there are few who can deny that he is a rather gifted individual. However, aside from the obviously good portions of his being, there are always some bad ones that accompany it.

For Thresco, this is the fact that him having recently let the Force back into his life has opened him up for a couple of unwanted aspects. As a person who has been relying on technology for years after he was forced to give up on being a Jedi, relying on the Force is at times hard for him. Not knowing when to trust in his technology or when to focus on the Force instead, Thresco can at times be at odds with himself. Though not entirely as a result of this, he also has a lot of old and new scars all over his body that can at times get sore and be somewhat detrimental when in battle. Still, he does not let it get him down as such things only further fuel his ambition and allow him to keep a level head. After all, his scars are reminders of the mistakes he has made, as well as motivation to not make those same ones again. Adding to this is the fact that he tries to rely on technology and wit a lot, a thing around which most if not all of his fighting style has been created. Knowing that not many weapons will pierce his Beskar'gam in close range while few combatants will expect a dual phase lightsaber, his style based primarily around Vaapad and Tràkata make for a potentially volatile mixture.

LIGHTSABER SKILLS:
In battle, Thresco utilizes a rather peculiar type of style when using a lightsaber. Due to his armor and helmet, traditional forms of lightsaber combat do not work as well for him, leading to him having to figure out his own style of fighting which incorporates moves from various styles he learned as a child training with the Solus Ara Jedi, improvised moves adopted during his time as a gun-slinging mercenary and bodyguard, as well as some even more improvised moves adopted during his years spent on Kashyyyk in solitude. Creating a style that barely walks the balance between light and dark, his abuse of his armor and dual phase lightsaber mixed with heavy influences of Vaapad and Tràkata make his style likely more befitting of a Sith than a Jedi. However, to Thresco, these are just titles just like good and evil, as most things in the galaxy are subjective. Of which forms are known, Thresco had adopted the following to make his own unique style of combat:
Jedi Stance: When engaging in battle, Thresco adopts the ready stance he learned from the Solus Ara Jedi, performed by placing the "dominant" foot back while holding the blade with two hands on his "dominant" right side. As a former hunter of people and dangerous creatures, he adopted this as a type of feint, letting those who know all about lightsaber combat to believe his right side is his dominant side. Because he is ambidextrous, this allows him to at times catch his opponents off-guard by switching which side will become his "dominant" side.
Way of the Sarlacc: As a youngling, the Way of the Sarlacc was the first style he learned with his lightsaber, describing the six body target zones and teaching him Sun-Djem.
- Shii Cho Sun Djem: Utilizing a lateral strike aimed at one's weapon, the Shii Cho version of Sun Djem simply known as the "Disarming Slash" aimed to destroy/disarm without causing physical injury, ending a fight before it could escalate any further.
Way of the Ysalamari: Another adoption chosen due to his armor keeping him from performing great acrobatical feats such as somersaults, he instead focuses on balance and footing. Making every single one of his moves count, it allows him to employ both single handed strikes and two handed strikes such as the "Falling Avalance". Being able to accurately attack with both hands allows him to utilize his Force techniques or call upon his pistol for surprise attacks. Techniques he primarily utilizes from this school, aside from the footwork and the overall basics are as followed:
- Makashi Cho Sun Djem: When fighting to the death or to completely take an opponent out of the fight, Thresco does not utilize the Shii Cho Sun Djem, instead utilizing the Makashi version. Instead of aiming just to disarm without injuring, this version aims for the handle of the weapon, burning through and destroying an opponent's fingers to disarm them.
- Riposte: A defensive move where Thresco will use his blade to slightly alter the trajectory of an opponent's attack, usually by sliding their blade outward, before retaliating at an often unguarded target.
Way of the Krait Dragon: A style he had learned a thing or two about, but really only started to master during and after the time in which he murdered a wealthy Phindian crime lord in his own home, Shien and Djem Sho became the core of his fighting style. Due to the armor he wears, power attacks and blocking came easy to him. Because other similar forms took too long and required too much waiting for the enemy to make a move, he instead uses this style as a means of attacking with powerful blows, further augmented by his beskar'gam, as well as striking again shortly after protecting himself with an equally powerful counterstrike. Due to his beskar'gam providing a very decent amount of protection from both blaster fire and lightsaber attacks, performing power attacks and counterstrikes became a lot easier as a single mistake would in most cases not prove fatal or overly detrimental. Moves from this form which Thresco utilizes are as followed:
- Shien Deflection: A technique where Thresco uses his lightsaber to deflect weapons fire while leaping towards his target. Because most of his targets utilize blaster pistols instead of rifles, he primarily does this while wielding his blade in one hand, thus freeing up his other hand for a surprise move.
- Falling Avalanche: A simple but effective attack, Thresco would hold his weapon overhead with both hands before crashing it down upon an opponent with incredible force.
- Barrier of Blades: A stationary move from which Thresco will use either one or two hands to hold his sword to deflect and even redirect blaster fire back to their point of origin or an altogether new location. Switching between single or one handed deflecting based on whether a target uses a blaster or a rifle, he can also use his free hand to reach for his own pistol and return fire while deflecting and redirecting.

Way of the Vaapad: Though known to some as the Way of the Vornskr, the Way of the Vaapad, or simply Vaapad is a saber style that uses a kind of ferocity in battle that comes from accepting and channeling one's own inner darkness. Because he has a lot of it, the Vaapad style came natural to him after having to witness the massacre of the Solus Ara order, being a bodyguard to a crime lord that raised and taught him up to the point where he eventually found out he was responsible for funding said massacre, leading to him killing his treacherous teacher. Sacrificing much to bolster his offense, his beskar armor provides him with the protection he needs to attack in a relatively more carefree manner than most other practitioners of the form. As the style involves relishing a fight and the thought of coming out victorious, the mindset of a mercenary for hire who got paid for winning and surviving did not need to change much in order to properly adopt this style of combat. Techniques Thresco applies to his fighting style that were drawn from Vaapad are as followed:
- Swift Flank: An attack that functions extremely well with his Jedi Stance, as well as the utilization of Form I, II, V and Tràkata techniques, "Swift Flank" can be utilized by side stepping, leaping or dashing around an opponent after lulling them into a sense of safety by making them believe his armor restricts him from doing such things (which it clearly does not, as long as no somersaults or other over the top acrobatics are attempted). Catching them off-guard with the quick motion, a quick and powerful two handed strike follows to seal the deal.
- Tempered Aggression: As a former bodyguard, mercenary and hunter, Thresco learned during his teen years that succumbing to anger and aggression would only make his job harder. As such, utilizing the mindset known as "Tempered Aggression" is something he uses to keep his head in the game and channel the darkness, rather than succumbing to it and making mistakes out of emotion.

Tràkata: The final style incorporated into Thresco's own way of fighting comes from Tràkata, involving even more means of practical combat and deception, which are two concepts that are hardly unknown to this Mandalorian. Using the lightsaber's ability to be turned off and on, it allows him to create feints and confusion in battle, which he can then act on by killing or dismembering his enemy. While dangerous to the untrained and even to masters of the form, Thresco's unique dual phase lightsaber and beskar'gam allow for his sword to do things most others can't, which is to lengthen by up to 15 centimeters and the armor's capabilities of deflecting lightsaber blows. As such, much of the issues with Tràkata do not really apply to him, which is why he tends to make use of it when he can. Moves from this style he incorporates are:
- Pass the Blade: As the style Thresco incorporates, which is heavily focused on Vaapad, has some rather linear and easily perceived attacks, he can aim an attack at his opponent which he knows will be blocked. Before hitting the opponent's weapon, he will deactivate his lightsaber before instantly reactivating it, thus passing by the block and hitting an unguarded opponent.
- Unbalancing Block: A defensive move which requires Thresco to block an incoming attack first, before deactivating his lightsaber, using the momentum of his opponent to unbalance their stance and loosen their footing before reactivating his blade and attack a staggered or still tripping opponent off-guard.

FORCE SKILLS:
Telekinesis: A universal technique, but one Thresco is only capable of utilizing in a select few manners. Capable of using techniques such as Force Push and Force Pull with great skill and accuracy, he can use it for things such as picking up small objects such as his lightsaber or ripping a gun out of one's hands, as well as lifting larger objects and potentially flinging them at someone at high felocity in an attempt at crushing them. Also capable of utilizing Force Choke, Force Crush and Force Grip, which are all closer to the dark side spectrum, he primarily uses these as a means of self-defense, dealing with droids or dissuading animals from attacking him.
Force Jump: As the name suggest, Force Jump allows Thresco to greatly enhance how far and high he can jump. In battle, he can also use this in the form of a linear Force Dash to make up for his beskar'gam.
Battlemind: Through sheer focus on the fight, Thresco could augment himself to fight with greater passion and determination. Using it to overcome fading stamina in battle, it pushes him to keep going through even some of the most harrowing of situations. Through pure fighting spirit, the Mandalorian warrior would push his physical capabilities beyond what they would normally be capable of.
Force Rage: When simply relying on Battlemind would not be enough, Thresco can tap into an ability he rarely uses, but can control quite well. By tapping into his innermost pain and hate, the Mandalorian could convert it into a nearly tangible rage. Channeling this rage to increase his speed, strength and ferocity, he would transcend the boundaries posed by the former technique. Since the body cannot handle such rage for long periods of time, he only uses it in bursts, primarily when on the losing side and in need of turning the tide. Mixed with styles that rely on using powerful strikes or well timed burst blows such as those Thresco focuses on, temporarily tapping into the darkness is well worth the risk.

ARMOR AND GEAR:
Beskar'gam "The Katarn"
Lightsaber
Twin Pistols
Personalized Ammunition

APPEARANCE:
Once known as the “Unscarred”, Starvorr has gone through quite some changes during his time in exile on Kashyyyk. Being more slender and muscular than he was before his exile, his experiences have done all sorts of good to his physique. Compared to the cleanly shaven head he once had, his hair grew out to be more shaggy, his helmet and hood normally concealing this fact. His back, lower abdomen, arms and legs all carry scars and burns earned in battles against the native creatures that lived in the vast wildernesses of Kashyyyk such as the arachnid Wyyyschokk, the slug-like Slyyyg and the fearsome Terentatek that did battle with him for months before their battle finally came to a conclusion. Also having some scar tissue underneath his right eye from when the beast dented in his helmet with its claws, Starvorr was lucky not to have his sight damaged in the process.

Though it underwent some changes, Starvorr still wears his old Lichbane armor, complete with his old tools and guns, though he has been forced to downgrade a bit. Due to the years spent in exile, his connection to Beskar had been effectively cut off, keeping him from creating his personalized ammunition. As such, he had been forced to rely on the one tool that did not need bullets to keep functioning, his old lightsaber. Replacing his broken gear and clothing with what he could salvage and purchase from the local Wookie, such as a traditional Wookie utility belt and climbing gear. Through all of the manual labor he had been forced to do, as well as actually having to rely upon using the Force instead of his technological equipment and guns, he increased his physical and mental fortitude to levels far beyond that of which he possessed prior to his self-imposed exile.

Aside from being relatively tall, muscular and slender, having semi-long hair and a good deal of scars and burns all over his body, he possesses two bright yellow eyes which stand in contrast to his jet-black hair. Not shaving all that often, Starvorr tends to have a bit of a scruffy bear and mustache, or a stubble beard as a result of a not clean shave, feeling it to be too much of a hassle when he rarely takes off his helmet anyway. That said though, there are times when he contradicts himself and goes for a clan shave. Even after his self-imposed exile, Starvorr still values the Mandalorian way, thus always wearing his helmet when in the company of others. It is for this reason that no one truly knows what he looks like underneath it. Often wearing a coat and hood over his outfit, he tries not to draw too much attention to himself, which is hard enough to do as a Mandalorian amongst Wookies.

BIOGRAPHY:
For a long time, the Mandalorian known as Thresco Jorr was trained in the ways of the Force by a small group known as the “Solus Ara”, following the Mandalorian way by believing in the Manda, as well as believing in the Force. Believing the two to be part of the same cycle, many Mandalorians believed them to be heretics that were unworthy of the afterlife, viewing them as soulless Dar’Manda. Taking force sensitive Mandalorian children off-world to the planet Phindar, they practiced their ways in peace. As the Solus Ara were neither Jedi nor Sith, they taught their younglings the path of the light before teaching them about the path of the dark. At the time of the conflict that was to come, Thresco was still not old enough to learn more about the dark path, knowing only the teachings of the light to some degree. When Thresco became of age, they came under attack by a Mandalorian raiding party that had been hired by a wealthy Phindian who wanted to own their land, believing the Solus Ara had no place on Phindar.

Eager to slaughter the Dar’Manda and keep other Mandalorian youth from being swayed from the path of the Manda, a fierce battle broke out in which most of the attackers and the Solus Ara perished. When the wealthy Phindian who went by the name Keeyr Sobeck came to inspect the place and found Thresco alive, he decided to keep him alive. Not considering the youngling to be a threat to him and be useful as a potential bodyguard or mercenary, a whole new life started for the young Mandalorian. Blaming the Force for what had happened to those he knew, as well as blaming the ignorance of the Mandalorian people, he hid his lightsaber and went by a Phindian name from that point on. Going by Osi Moralo for the years that followed, he learned how to use blaster pistols instead of a lightsaber, finding that he had quite the proficiency for them, especially by Phindian standards. By the time he was fifteen, Osi Moralo had become a bodyguard for Keeyr, who had taken a liking to the young man and started teaching him how to haggle and trade.

Dealing with various groups such as the Scrapper Guild, the Ithorian Trade Guild and a whole bunch of far from legal parties, the young Mandalorian learned very quickly that the galaxy was a dangerous place. Often feeling it when a truly despicable person got close to him, he would always be weary, which made him into a very potent bodyguard that quickly racked up quite the kill count by murdering assassins and mercenaries. Three years later, he had made quite some money of his own, creating a small business known as Drulfashe Enterprises, a name he took on as a means of covering his less legal activities under the guise of one of his hobbies: science. After cutting ties with Keeyr Sobeck, he made his way to Duro to start his business where he studied for two years and created the plans for a ship which he eventually had built called the “Neutron Halo”. From his own ship, he continued taking on all sorts of jobs along the lines of capturing native flora and fauna and even taking on mercenary work that involved hunting people for a while. Only doing the latter until he had all the money he needed, he soon dropped that part from his list.

Through his upbringing and his studies, he learned a great deal about mineral properties, with one in particular that took his liking. Making use of Beskar in true Mandalorian fashion, he frequently upgraded his gear and armor so as to be more well equipped for his hunts. Being one of the rare few force sensitive hunters to rely primarily on technology, as this was something he could understand and control, he was quite effective at hunting down people and animals alike. Taking on various jobs that involved bringing in plant specimen or local fauna from foreign places for those who offered him enough to make it worth his while, Thresco eventually invested in a ship AI that catalogued these animals and plants so as to create an on-board database to help him with future hunts and store information regarding past hunts and means by which to improve the next. Often biting off more than he could chew for the sake of funding his hobbies, his Beskar purchases eventually reinvigorated his connection to the Mandalorian people, as well as their customs. Taking on more dangerous hunting jobs for more money and renown, Osi Moralo’s name was soon dropped as the name Thresco Jorr was reinstated.

During one of the odd jobs he took on, the new AI he had been creating as a means of assisting the on-board AI used for unmanned flight and firing weaponry had a malfunction when flying through a seemingly open portion of space. Hearing a voice in his head that told him to free it, he saw a bright flash and woke up a while later on a planet that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. It was on this planet that he felt the Force strongly around him, as well as a portion of it which he had never felt before. Having been too young to learn of the dark path, the dark side of the force had been tempting him during his stay on this planet, taking him through places that seemed outlandish even for a planet that had seemingly popped up out of nowhere. While there were no living beings anywhere on the planet, it was on this planet that he encountered what he could only explain as the disembodied souls of his teachers. Telling him to get back on his ship and leave Mortis and never come back, another masked person appeared in a similar state. Explaining how Thresco had been fooled for years and that the man who kept him alive and taught him the ways of modern society was responsible for killing all those he knew, Thresco did as his old master had asked of him.

Leaving the planet Mortis, it was as if part of his mind had gotten wiped clean as soon as he left the planet’s orbit. Though he forgot about the location of the planet, he had not forgotten what one of the ghosts had told him, that Keeyr Sobeck was the one responsible for the deaths of his people. Returning to Phindar, the young man had very little difficulty maneuvering around the place and the security systems that were in place. Returning to the place where he hid his lightsaber many years ago, he infiltrated Keeyr’s mansion, killed the guards and murdered Keeyr Sobeck before burning the place down and taking a good deal of money from his vault. Spending most of it on repairs to his ship after stranding himself on Mortis, purchasing more raw materials for his hobby and creating new personalized pistols and ammunition, Thresco started working with a Mandalorian group to take on bigger jobs for bigger pay. This continued for nearly three years, at which point they came upon a job that would pay incredible well, but had immense risk. Contracted to hunt and kill a Terentatek on Kashyyyk and return the body, a kill team of four went down to the planet. Clearly not being ready for such a task, it was as if the very land wanted to get rid of them.

Hunting and stalking for days in the shadowlands of Kashyyyk, they were eventually attacked by a particularly large and crafty Terentatek that killed one of them swiftly. Before long, they learned that the creature was in fact hunting them instead of the other way around. For some reason, it seemed capable of sensing Thresco, something it used to stay on their tail and keep attacking. Doing so several times over the period of a month, the Mandalorians and the Terentatek were wearing each other down to the point where pride and honor kept the kill squad from leaving, just as primal instinct kept the beast around. Once Thresco had been wounded badly and ran out of ammunition, he found himself upon a crossroads. The entire time, he had kept his lightsaber concealed so as to not raise any suspicions his Mandalorian comrades might have. As the Solus Ara were still hated by many of the older warriors who could still remember them, he made the decision that using his teachings did not make him any less of a Mandalorian. Once he showed his saber, the remaining two warriors left him behind, calling him Dar’Manda before continuing the hunt and threatening him to leave. Finding that the ship had been destroyed by the time he returned to it, Thresco returned to the hunt as it had become personal.

Over the next few days, he found the bodies of the other Mandalorians, stripping them and burying them, giving them their last rites while using the parts he claimed as a means of ensuring his own survival. The very next day, Thresco ran into the Terentatek again near the destroyed ship which he used as his base of operations and his home within the Shadowlands. In a final battle to the death, Thresco killed the Terentatek before succumbing to his wounds. When he awoke, he found that he had been found and taken to safety by a local Wookie tribe. Thanks to his helmet, he did not have a lot of issues speaking and understanding their language, which came in useful as it was a language unlike any he had ever heard. Spending time with them in an attempt at repaying the generosity they had shown him, as well as saving his life, he came to the realization that the entire planet was a living organism. Intricately linked to the Force, he could feel that the very trees were trying to teach him, which was something the Wookies believed in as well. One day, Thresco underwent a rite of passage which had him climb to the top of a massive tree known as the tree of Origin. Fighting his way past Wyyyschokk that had created webbed homes and hunting grounds all over the roots, the Mandalorian eventually made his way to the top.

Once he made his way to the top, he found all sorts of carvings that seemed to have come from an entirely different race. Not thinking too much of it, he found himself meditating on top of the origin tree for hours, pondering on the things he had done, the things he had gone through and the things that were still to come. He came to realize that the dark side of the force which he had felt on the planet he could not remember had drawn upon his anger and got him to kill several people in cold blood. While this was no different from his old job, this time, he had done so not as a means of protecting someone, nor as a part of his job which included payment. Hoping to one day repent for this, he made his way back down to the jungle city and the Wookies so as to let them know that he had survived and passed their rite of passage. With this being the start of a relationship with a new species, the Wookies dubbed him “Starvorr”, thus giving him a traditional Wookie name of his own. Putting himself in a self-imposed exile, Thresco stayed among the Wookies for four years after that, learning more about their customs and culture while increase his once lost connection to the Force atop the origin tree and within the Shadowlands.

Learning as much here as could be expected from one who had only learned as much as the average Padawan, the forest planet taught him a great deal. More importantly, it seemed that there had been traces of a foreign species that was also well versed in the Force that had left behind the strange markings on top of the origin tree. Studying the place, as well as other places and ruins connected to it, his knowledge of the force gradually grew while his fighting skill with a sword grew to great levels having to fend off creatures such as the Wyyyschokk, Katarn, Minstyngar, Slyyg and the mighty Terentatek. Luckily, most of these creatures were rarely a problem as they were quite rare in general, particularly the Terentatek, Katarn and Minstyngar, meaning he really only needed to look out for giant arachnid and acidic slugs. Wearing an augmented version of his original armor, the largest focus of Beskar plating is located around the arms, upper legs, shins and shoulder plates, which are segmented as a means of protection that does not restrict his movement. With his training on Kashyyyk nearing an end and his search for answers to questions new and old only growing, he will soon go off-world in search of his old ship.

SHIP:
“The Neutron Halo was developed by various engineers that gave up their old jobs at various prestigious facilities in order to create something new. Using what they had learned and mashing that together to make something that had never been seen before, the prototype for a new freighter that doubled as a drop ship, a carrier and could hold its own in battle. Using weapon systems originally created by Kuat Drive Yards, internal structuring seen often in Duro ships and exterior plating made out of Mandalorian iron. With a length of two hundred meters, it has two floors plus a bridge acting as a third floor. The bridge, while large, is filled mostly with computers, leaving little room for more than just the pilot. The hanger can be accessed from both sides of the ship, having enough room for two fighters.” – https://starwarsrp.net/topic/87594-the-neutron-halo/.
