Verity was gracious enough to indulge in something other than politicking. Dominique returned Ayumi's stare with a smile.
Coordination was key, but there was no 'try' to Dominique's planning. You couldn't see all ends, but you could be ready to respond to uncertain circumstances. Sometimes violently -- and the other party had only themselves to blame for forcing her hand like that.
A soft clearing of the throat preceded, "Well, I don't believe these ones are interested in that sort of... interaction." Dominique certainly hoped not. If they were just a social club they certainly didn't need half the autonomy Dominique was prepared to let them keep. To date their actions had been anything but lacking. A little uncertainty here or there, but the Chancellor would do her best to maintain a relationship.
Day club? Was she going to ogle the bartender? "Sounds delightful." Seeing as how they weren't on Denon and in company suited for an underground club. "Have you already found a favorite on Naboo?" Or was there somewhere else in mind? Hopefully nothing that required prolonged travel, of course.
