Three Black Crows

Preparations for this had taken Jairdain a good amount of time. Mostly in arranging for the time away from Commenor since she had no idea how this was going to take. There were procedures needed of which she knew about but not what was needed to be done. Those she left up to her companions. One of whom she had never even met.

She trusted Ronin in this and knew it wouldn't be misplaced. The time ahead was going to be trying for all of them, she was sure, but she felt prepared for what was going to happen.

Something she learned was rarely requested was going to happen to her. It may have partially been done in an informal manner on Iridonia, when they had shared a few drops of blood and a vow between each other. That was as formal of an adoption they had gone through until she learned there was an additional one.

Not knowing what was going to be needed, Jairdain had purchased several different things. Mainly in the form of what would be considered camping supplies. Items needed for survival in the wilds where temperatures would vary and change from day to night and the different areas they travelled into.

Making sure it was all ready on her part, she sent a message to Ronin and let him know. In his turn he would inform Garith that everything was ready.

It was if nothing else quite a trying time for Ronin who if nothing else did know of some but not all the dangers. That his seem unexpected action of initiate the blood bond with one completely not of their kind. A complete strange at the very least for whom in times of the elder would have been quite the taboo. And could have very well ended badly for the said individual but then again in the, not to the distant time of the come of the great plague. With so few them left, it seems the blood bond had been very least recorded been performed with some exception thought with the same degree of risk as well danger in that. As far he could fathom research soon after initiate Jairdain and consulting the only elder he knew that could stand in guide them thru to the final part of the blood oath.

Thought as elusive as he was knowledgeable in the old way being of the past history that for the life of him Ronin had not been privy to. And that as far he was close enought know was that if nothing else it all depended on him trusting the elder Garith. As much Jairdain apparent placed her trust in him. That he felt compelled to see this thru whatever the outcome would be...the breath word by him had been given to her and they were bound to see it thru its fruition.

For as long as the Elder had lived now he found time was one of the greatest enemies. With the recent collapse of government that kept chaos from the core the threat of war once threatened pace once again. By rights the Elder was an Atrisain Lord and the father of the children the Royal family of Alderaan. Their very survival had been threatened and already one of his sons was killed within combat.

For a being that was so tormented in darkness over the destruction of his people, Garith once again started to feel the fire within his Kashi Spirit. War was indeed coming. Escalation was inescapable. The Darkside loomed at the very edges of the hope that kept the hearts and minds of the people. It fell upon the Elder crushing at the very hope his people would rise again. The loss of a child was indeed a crushing feeling. To add your people could be lost forever if any more could be lost?

The power of the drive that was once Darkhold was returning. That passion that fueled the very core of the Elder dark Kashi’s reign of destruction was indeed returning. The thought of his people and culture surviving empowered that passion. With every breath it pounded through his veins. That power propelled him forward as each footfall brought him closer to the destination where they was supposed to met up at.

Nearby he could sense the Kashi known as [member="Ronin Wendigo"]. Not far from him was [member="Jairdain"] who was petitioning to become a Kashi. They had no idea the depths of hell they was going to have to travel through. Garith did know very well. This was not the first nor last time his flesh would burn for his people.

An Inn with the odd name of Three Black Crows was the designated meeting place and where Jairdain had everything ready for them that she could think of. A pack of a few belongings was packed, the rest she felt she was going to need was also in there. Such as bedding. A light would not do the blind woman any good so it was something she did not have in there. Canteens for water were on the side and some travel rations were on top. She seriously hoped she had thought of everything, but it seemed there would always be something forgotten. Once this journey got underway though, there was no coming back so it paid to be through in making sure everything was had.

Tipping her head slightly, she knew when Ronin got close. What had started off as a chance meeting in the library on Voss ended up turning into something far greater. Through the course of time and knowing one another, they could have been partners. Fate would have it differently though and they were for more like kin than anything else.

When she had been a sith, an encounter had shown her that Ronin also had a darkness within him. That night they had saved each other's lives and the next morning they parted ways. A cat Ronin had picked up though had lead them to meet up again. This time it was when she a broken woman. With Ronin's help, he had started piecing her mind back together and eventually she returned to the welcoming arms of the Silver's.

The night of that meeting when she was a broken woman, as part of her recovery, they had shared an informal bond and adopted each other through words and the sharing of blood. At the time that was all she thought was needed. Another meeting or two had happened between them and it had eventually been passed onto her there was a formal ceremony to go through. However, not everybody was accepted, but she had enough confidence that she would be.

Now she just waited for the two of them to actually appear.

It was then as the appointed day drew close that if nothing less Ronin could help but feel some uncertainty. As he could not help but feel torn thought at the same time feeling all sort of emotion fill his thought. Given how fate seems to have in their case....starting from the chance meeting that leads to the twisting path that intertwined them in the apparent path that somehow mirror the other in a certain way. From the start of the promise of the light ...darken fall that seems have all but more than once lead them to near ruin more than once till their path eventually crossed. To what could have been it seems been destined that they would have been bonded thought not in the way they original seem to appear to.

As fate, it seems had something else in mind for them for in a time when it all came down their bond grew far beyond that of simple attraction to something far different. That of kinship which onto itself lead to its own share of torment as much trials before come to fruition as both would soon come to realize.

In which time as he stood there just outside the Inn with the odd name of Three Black Crows where they designated be meeting place. That for what its worth even before he came to even enter that his sense came to connect to her. And as he soon entered that he went straight to approach her if only make sure that they could converse about the upcoming events before Garith arrives.

Through the shadows of the street with the light touch of street lamps. The light and the shadows flickered back and forth across the Elder’s face. The sound of crunched stone gave way to the beskar boots as he steadily walked forward. He did not rush forward. It would not change he will most likely be gone for weeks. It would not change the fact he would be away again while war starting again.

Though his mind was playing over and toying with ideas of what he would do when he returned. He had walked away from the galaxy to just be a father. It was not the case now. Thrusted again into the fire he will most likely be consumed again, as well as the rest of the galaxy.

He was close now. The Inn was in sight. Soon this journey will start.

She felt Ronin as he got close and when he walked in to approach her, she did the same. Greeting him with a hug and smile, she hoped they both knew what they were going. Rarely did she get second thoughts, but it happened now and then. She trusted Ronin almost more than anybody and knew he would not lead her to harm on purpose. Whatever happened, they would make it through this together.

"Thank you."

With so many people around on the planet itself, Jairdain was not able to pick Garith from among them. Since they had never met before, she did not know what to expect. Leading Ronin over to one of the tables, it had the items she thought she was going to need. If he wanted to look through them, he could. When Garith did walk in, she would think the other two to know each other and unite the group finally.

It then seemed more out of if nothing else the scar of the past as much it was the deep longing he felt for family or a place to belong. That he could not help feeling as such he had for her thought not so much in the way he had initially. Wherein where there once been an attraction of the heart for which could seem never be had all been no sooner replaced. By that of a bond far deeper as it was binding no the less than that of family. Which only time could tell as it would be soon tempered by the flames of the trial to come. Of which had been something he'd long search far and hard he could thru out the few remaining items in the archives regarding the Kashi Ritual of the blood bond. For the answer as to what to expect or at best prepare for as much if anything thought the bond had been at best still fairly tentative. At best not fully cemented or such that it could truly be officially in the traditional sense. He no less felt the weight as much the faith she'd had for him in that she trusted him so. As such had been the drive he had not to stir her wrong nor see no harm come to her.

As which her welcome of him no sooner had they sense each other before seeing each other. Brought this home, at which time with her warm greetings of a hug and smile that followed. That he could no less shake the fact as much he'd felt it of the weight along with the trust she had of him. To which end seem without words as the faint tentative tendrils of their initial attempt of the blood bond form that she outright replied.

"Thank you."

To which brought a smile as well to his face as the two settled down and prepared for the coming meet. As he then glanced at the items prepared by her that he turned towards her and was about speak. When from the corner his mind came the hint that he was not far behind. To which end briefly tormented as much he'd been somewhat looking forward to the conclusion of the meet. And trully be able call her family as he welcomed her into the closely guarded secretive circle of the Kashi. That sense began scream silently at his ear and very thoughts just as the door flung open to reveal. The hulking image of the battle worn and imposing figure of the elder as he approaches to meet them so. And begin what could be more or less be explain as their first steps onto the path that fate or such placed upon them. To which end standing between the elder Kashi and her as he thru the breath greeted him so. In the manner or fashion he not too long ago had to relearn given in part due to the situation of his retun.

The door to the end creaked open singling to those who was near the door that someone was coming in. More than one patron turned a head to notice the large armored man coming through the door. There was surprise within their eyes. They were a little unearned looking at the man. His eye almost seemed feral, a caged beast that appeared to have a vicious bite.

This was truly saying something. They were in an INN. Inns were typical to have a large verity of people and perspectives in them. There were a number of scary looking people in here. One of the near human men who reacted this was wearing dark blue pants with a red stripe running down each pants leg. He was a decorated Coreillain. There was something off about the man that seemed to unnerve the patrons in the bar, as he walked by. He continued further on though. He was supposed to meet two people here.

What Ronin felt was very clear to Jairdain. It seemed he anticipated this as much as she did. Almost like two children about to go on an adventure for the first time. Just what that adventure was going to be was almost a mystery to her. Not having been through this before, she had no clue just what was going to happen. The only thing that truly mattered to her was she would be a part of a family again. It may not be biological, but still family.

The weight he felt was not shared by her, but it felt right. This was a mutual idea they had come up with years ago now. Finally able to now go through with it. She had no second thoughts though and she hoped Ronin didn't either.

When the door opened, her focus that had been on him moved to the new entry. A wild rancor was what she sensed from him, but controlled. A chained wild rancor.

"Is that who we are meeting with?"

It was then if anything else just seeing her had been all that had eased the faint worry he had. Given that if nothing else with what bit he had thus far gather not too long ago. It would appear the trial ahead for them finalize the blood bond of which they started would or most likely been more than expected. And the danger it entails were at best going be difficult enough that would present a significant deal of danger for them. Of which he'd wish to could convey but had somewhat unsure or unable to for no sooner had the pair met up.

That well across the room the door flung open to all but reveal a hulking form of a battle-worn warrior of years past would seem. Thought no less sharp as he gave the air of being dangerous. WIth eye almost seemed feral, as much akin to a caged beast that appeared to have a vicious bite. Which seem had not been lost on Jairdain as well as she spoke.

"Is that who we are meeting with?"

At which time he turned to her and nods as he replied simply to the point.

"Yes, an elder of the Kashi....one if not seem last few still left."

As which time he then thru the breath as best he could fathom do given what bit of the skill he had of it he'd regain thus far had. That ronin reach out to the elder who's named as best he'd learn so far had been Garith...That he then acknowledge his arrival and announce their presence as well state that they were ready. And that will no sooner wait to follow his lead in the hopes of starting that which they came for...

There was not a single syllable of a greeting that left the Elder’s lips. The hulking form that was known in the galaxy to be Garith Darkhold had just moved through the thresh hold of the door and into the room. As soon as the form moved passed the door way the Elder shut the door and looked to the two before the tired veteran.

It was the Elder’s son that brought three this day together, a Kashi Mystic. The Elder’s Son never strayed from the path like the Elder. The young Kashi was what the Elder should be. If anything Theo was something for the Elder to be proud of. It was only natural reaction. It symbolized what procreation was meant to be.

A click rang through the room symbolizing the very obvious thing they could see. The door shut and the opposing form of the Kashi Elder now blocked the door way. Not a place many in the galaxy would not wish to be.

“Are you both aware of the danger the three of us will face in the Neither World are you ready to face our unavoidable fate”, it was a straight forward question. The harshness of the facts of he spoke was unavoidable. Even the greatest of heroes had fallen where they was about the tread.

If Jairdain had been the type of woman to have fear, this man probably would have done just that. She had faced down many beings, he might just be another one of them. He did not open with violence and instead offered advice...in a way.

His approach was observed through the Force, but that was all. Ron was here and she trusted him. Like she would a family member.

"I am ready."

No matter the tone he took, she did not flinch away. It wasn't that she was foolish or stupid, but felt the need to stand up to him. To show weakness to this predator would be her undoing.

It was then that in the briefest moment between when the door open and shut that his eyes turn to scan the room. For starting as nothing more than a flicker in the air that his sense picks up the faint presence of the Kashi Elder as he enters the room. As he then spoke in a tone no less emotionless as it was blunt direct to the point.

“Are you both aware of the danger the three of us will face in the Neither World are you ready to face our unavoidable fate”,

To which he then unknowingly came to stand by Jairdain in a way not so much as to protect as it was to show unity with her. For as would anyone would know she on her own right was a force to reckon with as the history between had shown. And yet in a momentary hesitation, he ponders the elder words before replying with not but a nod. For if what bit he'd learn from his early sojourn into the realm of his father forebearer. Theirs was an existence as much a way of life far removed from that of either Jedi or Sith....born from a time before time when.
