Private Thoughts of Darkness

"He still has not moved."

There was a small bit of silence as a few Jedi were watching the monitor, most of them being far more experienced than others. They kept expecting a breakout to happen at any moment, to show that they were right on keeping the Inquisitor where he laid...but in the end, he seemed to have resigned his fate. The number of void stones around the cell were in small pebbles, shattered over numerous attempts to keep some form of his power tampered down in his energy cell. No matter what they did, it seemed to just ooze the Force even brighter than before. Many of the vitals of the Sullustan shown a story...it was dropping, his health seemed to be declining. It was as if, he was trying to burn the Force completely out of his body...to finally let himself go.

"Alright just...keep an eye on him. It has been weeks...wonder what he is doing, he won't answer any of us."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Force seemed to strengthen...not even felt blinding on the planet of lego, strangely it felt as if a beacon had erupted onto part of the planets surface. It was hard to ignore, it almost resembled a Force Nexus in terms of how much power it kept pumping out. It did not seem to have any physical features to present itself, nor any reason to...but mentally, it seemed to be a gateway. A gateway into a persons mind that has long since given up on the reality of not just escaping, but finding out who he was, no matter how much thought has been put into it.

When entering the mind, it resembled almost what be considered a video game hub area. A large double ended white door would be behind anyone that had entered with five doors, matching with five large white candles in front, on top of a large pedestal that was several feet away from the door. The place felt of serene calm, as if this was a sanctuary...anyone with knowledge of the Tuskens/Sand People would know that this was a place of worship for loved ones that had been lost, it resembled it heavily within the darkened area with lit candles...only though some were lit and other parts missing. No one seemed to be in the room...though the persons presence could be felt. Perhaps he is...somewhere in here?

The Five Doors seemed to be different from each other, each having some signifying trait.

The first door resembled something made of sand and rust. On touch it felt warm, the doors handle seemingly old with the metal outline of a sun on the front of the door with the candle on the front being lit. No matter what could be done, the door would not open. In the Force, it felt as if there was a level of peace behind it.

The second door was more of an apartments sliding door, almost like a hotels. It smelled of the city, the steel slightly cold to the touch with the sigil on the door being a strange circle with three long lines, almost like a birds foot. The candle on the front was not lit and the door seemed to have no resistance upon attempting to open it. In the Force, it felt as if sadness yet hope lingered on.

The third door was the most stark difference beyond the others, unlike the other doors, it resembled the Galactic Empires large sliding doors with the symbol of the Galactic Empire on the front. For whatever reason, this door was hit with two chains, crossed together in an X shape with a large padlock in the middle. Approaching it, it would feel as if the dark side has a heavy influence, with bits of suffering and growing hatred. It seemed rather difficult to enter but if one wanted to...they could. The pedestal and candle was missing from here, perhaps a sign of things that had changed?

The fourth door resembled one made of wood, the sigil bearing the mark of smugglers mark and a strange marking beside it that may meant something in the Tusken Language which would mean "wife". The door here was remarkably warm and there was a distinct different from the first one to this, no parts of the dark side even lingered close to this, it felt as if nothing was wrong with the world. The door here, even with a simplistic doorknob, would not move nor open with the candle being perhaps the most bright from the outside of the two currently lit.

The fifth and final door was perhaps the most surprising to anyone that knew of the Sullustan. The door resembled something seen in a senators office, a large silvery door found on coruscant with the sigil on the front being of the New Republic. On approach, the door felt wet, as if the place was greatly humid and was something that could not be figured out easily with it being slightly cold. The Force would only feel of regret, something that had seemed to linger on and not wish to let go of easily. The candle nearby would not be lit...and if approached towards the door, it would slide open with ease.

The question was here, where would one possibly go? The other doors could be forced open though who knows what is behind them.

Sleeps all day.... yawns all night

Veradune was well a place to be.... really Vulpesen Vulpesen knew how to decorate and while the guards were there looking up the snoring force master was on the ceiling. "Ah how does she do that?" He said it... the young guard getting a look and a laugh. "She is some sort of force master, helped out the old king once upon a time but... she doesn't look like it for sure." He kept laughing. "Just be careful when she sneezes." THe young man looked at him and raised an eyebrow..... HE was curious and Tricia snored as her breathing caught and choked and....she shuddered before coughing. The telekinetic blast forming as the young guard was thrown into a wall and the plaster of it cracked under the armors impact.

"Told you." THe older man was bracing himself and bringing out a small hook. Nothing dangerous more he was pulling her down and using it to anchor her from floating away. "See you are looking at one of the old kings masters.. someone who trained him and if it is to be believed she is over twenty thousand years old and has continued to expand and empower herself all of that time. That black hex destroyer we have in the stories and holos when the world was attacked. She was the planetary shield for it." He said it and was proud leading the way and the two of them took her into one of the rooms that was smaller but had bedding.

"So she is strong but she sleeps?" He seemed confused. "Yeah she is when awake fairly fun but she sleeps for periods of time most of the day to well she is bored with most of the galaxy." He kept speaking and Tricia stirred waking up as she was looking around. The silks she wore along her slim figure and the songsteel linked chains around wrists and neck. Going down to her waist. "It is not boredom... mostly just tiring. A lifetime for you has been a blink for me... to see people grow old.. to see friends age and some come to hate you. It isn't worth it." She said it and looked at him while she stretched. "Hmmm so what have I missed anything important?"

She said it with a look at them as her tri-colored eyes while she looked at the two of them. "No, there is a message from the Alliance about a force user in one of their prisons. Given the old Kings status and skill he was requested to help out since it seems he is not eating." She raised an eyebrow. "Oh... tell me more." it was not much, it was something that at best might be a diversion to her... something to pass the time and she moved with him not touching the ground as she was floating and flying around beyond them. Like she was moving through waters and manipulating the air itself. She came into the chamber and was able to look at the message as she spoke.

"Hmmm prepare my shuttle." She pointed. "Lady Kalamack... you don't have a shuttle you sneezed and it was thrown into the kennels." There was a look. "Oh... yes poor kibbles lots of bits." The fox guard looked at her and she grinned. "Fine I will need a ship... I shall go in Vulps place... talk to this one... can't be that bad." She said it and flew away before he could say anything going out of a skylight of the palace as she stretched.... "I hope Coruscant has good insurance." He said it but some time later she was on the ship and asleep on the ceiling of it as some of the people in the ship were watching.

Their arrival on Coruscant coming in as she flew over to the cells and went in getting more looks but few could really say anything when she went to the cells and sat in the air cross legged. Her long black hair with small streaks of silver there before she was checking over most of it. "IMpressive." She could feel him meditating... thinking... swirls of thought there when she debated how best to approach this. "Hey if you can hear me... open up your mind and we'll talk... most become drooling limpless husks if I have to force myself in."

The Sullustan in the room resembled practically from what people had saw of him. The eyes of the Sullustan were completely closed, his head bald and ears seemed tucked in. The jowls, if one would call them that, were drooped low in relaxation. The outfit of his was not the traditional robes of the Jedi, nor the robes of the Inquistiors, leaving it to only assume these were the clothes given to other prisoners. The shoes however seem to be right and the gloves on the hands were made of leather. Almost each part of his body was covered in some form of clothing...except for the head strangely. Though one stark difference was his left arm...it was gone, tapered with a pin closed towards the shoulder. They had to remove the cybernetic...it was rather dangerous to even let him have one on.

So strange yet so silly, when she walked over and sat across from him in the cell, in a bit of an ironic twist, there was a small noise coming from the Sullustan. Almost as if a grumble, then the head dipped a moment as he made a very audible, very loud snore. Apparently even for someone old as her, there was always someone probably sleepier than her at random. It been noted he could fall asleep on a moments notice which was impressive feat in of itself, but it seemed also be somewhat random the longer he stays up. However, he must have heard either subconsciously or have felt something nearby in the Force as the mind of the Sullustan rather quickly opened up.

However it was almost a blast of emotions, echoes and whatnot that seemed to resemble what was described earlier, many rooms but never a true entrance. The difference now however was a lone figure in the room, wearing long tan like robes that resembled the color of the sands. Being over one of the nearby candles, towards the first door, one could see him placing his left hand over the candle and using his other hand to light another candle in his hand. Holding it up, he watched the flames kindle and dance before his pale green eyes. The back of his head had a purple tattoo, it almost glowed in the candlelight as it resembled of swirls and lines that reached towards the top of his head.

"Twelve Days since I last stoked the candle fire. Four Days since I stoked the candle fire...six months overdue for Kiran...nine months overdue for Ivunuvi...sixteen years and fourteen days for Nika. I remember to light the candles, I will remember to light the way. So speak the truth ancestors, let this be some form of answer."

It spoke as if in riddles, it moved over towards the second candle and tried to lower it to have it lit but could not bring himself to lower his hand. Staring at the unlit candle, he once again tried to lower towards it yet the sounds of what could resemble medical equipment beeping could be heard from afar. The soft beeping...one after another as the Sullustan breathed in and dropped the candle on the ground.

"Why...where is Ashla?"

Sleeps all day.... yawns all night

She looked at him and remained there levitating and listening to him... snoring... he was asleep.... hmm she could relate to that. THere dind't seem to be much one could do here but she moved when he stirred. When he spoke and listened to it more as one would a child rambling excited. Eyes open in interest when he was moving about and talking. She floated around following his movements. "Hmm sleep walking.. I ahve been told I do this as well.. though apparently you are far less destructive then I am... no matter." She watched and focused finding a place to sit on the ceiling as she was above him. "Now lets see what we can find here."

She was allowing herself to open up and search... to feel out as she brushed at his mind... at the surface of his thoughts. She could see the doors. "There's one at the door, at the gate to the mind … is it thief, thug or whore? There's one at the door … and there's room for one more 'til the end of creation'" She said it to herself while she was moving and even in a dreamscape the idea of walking with her legs was... uneven... she barely ever tried it because of how overtly bad she moved... like her legs were jelly. SHe moved from door to door but didn't open them as she was curious and went to the first door as she could feel it.

"Assuming Ashla is light lets try door number one... unless you read things backwards then this is five."

There was no resistance, no hesitation of her entering his mind. The mind was exactly as described before, there was even a moment of peace. The room she starts in, was indeed safe for any matter of time. When she approached the first door, there was a moment where it did not wish to open till she mentioned the word of Ashla at the door. There was a soft click, allowing her entry as the door would effortlessly be opened to reveal a small bright light before turning into a barren wasteland of sand, showing a darkened sky with twilight stars sprinkling into the night.

The soft plucking of a harp could be heard in the distance, it sounded rather well played...even if a tad out of tuned. Towards the direction was many leather like huts, it became slowly apparent she was on Tatooine as a Tusken walked around the camp, as if on guard duty. While some parts of the place looked...hazy, as if parts of a memory that had not been filled in, the closer the harp music was, it became the more filled in. From afar, the harp player was more visible. Metal strings on long elaborated bones and horns, sat a Tusken with a rather enlarged helmet, playing the harp with skill. The gloves looked extremely familiar as a few feet to the left side, sat another Tusken with a mask rather similar to his but thinner.

The harp seemed to reach its conclusion as the helmet tilted towards the other. The feeling of peace was all over this memory, it felt as if nothing in life was going to go wrong. While noises of a Tusken could be heard, it felt translated in the mind, understanding...various words flew by between them which with the harp playing, seemed to be grating in the howling, coughing like noises but it...made sense. The words of Puzzle, Sun, Love, Revealing, Joining....it seemed more fitting that these two were in love but seemed more apparent that they were to wed, given the hand made ring on the other tuskens hand.

It resembled a metal ring, wrapped around in leather with a large krath hounds tooth at the end. It looked dangerous, though in honesty to them, probably more of a utility. With a final pluck of the harp, there was a bit of silence between them as they merely stared at each other. Within a minute, the other Tusken got up and moved close to the other one, sitting next to the other and leaning to watch the starlight sky. The howls kept coming from the desert but it seemed more than serene...to the Sullustan, it must been a perfect memory.

From nearby, two spikes in the Force could be felt. There was a soft swirl in the sand as it revealed two entrance portals...one showing towards something resembling a temple in a forest, a pond full of water with two wearing the same robes walking together but...unmasked, their robes showing markings of Ashla on them. This memory was very peaceful as well, they both looked like Sullustans and one being obviously Jegy himself as he seemed rather content.

The other memory seemed to be a stark difference to the other one, it felt as if a feeling of dread was approaching it. It showed a rising sunset in the background with the two Tuskens that been together, holding hands gently in ceremony. There was many Tuskens gathered nearby...it was like a wedding ceremony and the helmets were being taken off as well but more in ceremony fashion. It revealed the same two Sullustans but the memory seemed to be growing darker. Something...something bad was in that memory compared to the other one.

Watching the memories was different, she moved around checking out it and didn't need to probe the edges of it.. see where it ended and where it began.. she wasn't here to try and break them down or reconstruct them.. she wasn't here asking questions but she did wonder a few things. She had encountered a few tuskans... two of them had been jedi and were different. She hadn't really seen them... she saw how they wore the name... wore the robes more as a way to stand out among the jedi and make others think that they were special.... Well not so much as there were a few of them but this one was different.

She moved around seeing it. "Rather pretty,": Then two rifts and her eyebrows raised up while she was checking it all.. allowing the force to go around them. THen she was peering at the two of them and debating with herself. "Hmm one feels nice and peaceful... a good time. the other is... likely where I need to go to try and figure things out." She turned to look around and floated there tapping her chin. "Why can't you be like some others and have your memories just images and flashes... no one is always this intent and vivid. You actually have thoughts behind your memories and more then just it happened."

SHe said it with a shrug and moved through the second rift allowing herself to breathe in and then exhale as it were before she was searching around and a tuskan memory could go any number of ways.. at least he wasn't taking one fo those vision quests things... she dind't need to stare at her hand for several hours.

The boundaries seemed rather limitless...though the further she went, the more she would soon realize how much he could remember of Tatooine. The town of Bestine could be seen from the horizon at the South, as well as Mos Entha from the North in such a canyon like area. However any populace, people or creatures seemed to be far from sparse...looks like the memory did not go to far from there. Her voice, when she spoke, seemed to echo a little in the memory, as if echoing her own thoughts. It felt...strange, part of it seemingly like someone was listening.

When she stepped through the second portal, the place became bright again before showing the same sunset. It became way more detailed than the previous ones, they were obviously over a large canyon cliff, the two were holding hands with each other with Banthas somewhat scattered behind the crowd of Tuskens sitting not in lines but all over the place. In all terms, it looked just like a marriage between the two, both Sullustans and they looked rather happy. The ceremony, even when translated did not seem to match many others...but it seemed similar to a rites ceremony, a bonding ceremony.

The more she watched, the more the memory seemed to start to degrade. Parts of the crowd seemed to freeze up, the sky slowly started to set just a little to give a bit of an orange glow. When Tricia wondered how memories seemed to vivid, she found out why over this person...and much more when it finally fell apart. The dark side grew rather strong before a crack of a blaster erupted over the crowd. While hollars, screams seemed to come from the crowd, the only visibly moving people was the two Sullustans...and the one not being Jegy, was shot in the back of the head with a splotch of red striking into part of the memories view.

There was a look of shock, terror and grief all at once in the memory, it was visible even in the Sullustans face. Almost at the start, he had caught her coming down and could not believe what was going on. The fighting seemed to rage around the area but it did not seem to register towards Jegy, leaned down and holding her tightly as a newer emotion was growing. Suffering...that grew into anger with the skies becoming more orange, parts of the sky seeminly becoming forgotten. The Force...it felt like a bomb, it was building and building, the power felt at that moment when it finally erupted, felt unnatural, it felt uncontrolled and it felt wild, as if the entire Force flowed through the Sullustan in that brief moment.

The memory then seemed to shatter as if like glass, if she was not floating, she would have fallen by gravity itself. A singular Tusken scream pierced harshly through, as if screaming in anguish...accompined by rather quickly screams from everywhere...tusken, basic, huttese...it was everywhere. Glimpses of what appeared to be humans and rodians with rifles were swept by what appeared to be sand. It did not seem to restructure very well as time went on either, a crackle from above resembled lightning as the howling of a sand storm swept through more and more. A landspeeder from afar was thrown over with a trandoshan being covered in sand, being buried alive.

After a full minute of all of this, the memory went quiet as the entire memory just suddenly blacked out. The memory seemed...over? After another minute, another set of rifts started to open up, along with the one to go back to a previous memory. The two new rifts showed stark differences from each other.

One showed the Tusken, now sitting on the same canyon cliffside...but it was different, it was covered in obscene amount of sand, it was almost buried in completely now. The helmet was off and showed scarring on the back of the head, it resembled closer now to his tattoo from before in the moonlight. Sitting in front was a gravestone made of red rock, scarred but etched in the image of what could only be described as the Sun. That rift...felt of sorrow, grief and unexplained anguish with himself. The head was dipped down, as if sleeping near her.

The second image was cloaked in grief, sorrow, hatred and even more anguish than before. Pain was in there as well as screams were faintly heard as fires seemed to be erupting all around the village. Blaster fire was all over it, it seemed as if the village of his was being raided? The most stark however was a human though in the image, slashing at people with a green lightsaber. It looked almost identically chaotic as the memory she was in though whatever happened there, did not seem to match up with the rest of the memory for this person.

She coudl feel it... better she could see it while exploring the village in the memory and avoiding the interactions or inturruptions... There was always a chance of awareness that could be within the memory and how it might be wrong. The minds natural defense to intrusion she had found as seeing something wrong would better help with rejection and mental shielding. Fallanassi called it spotting the flaw in the illusion to see through it and it was what they did with many of the other things they faced in the galaxy. She watched from above the ceremony and then.. it shifted an attack and danger was there as she kept herself actively from trying to stop anything being done. This was vital.. this was part of his and more so as it ended she could see the rifts forming and nodded to herself... moving through the one and looking at the sitting Sullistant and the older village. Taking a position next to him. "Interesting.... do you want to talk about it?" She said it and was working on the mindspeak to communicate with him and allow the force user to talk with her if he wanted to. She didn't need to move close she just needed to be there and best way to get through it to go along the path... follow the chain of memories backwards and forwards.
