From the moment Mandalore encountered the Diarchy, it recognized the danger before the galaxy chose to see it. The Diarchy did not come with open war banners or honest steel. It came coiled. When light was cast upon it, the serpent hissed assurances and civility, performing virtue for distant worlds while hiding its fangs beneath polished words. It claimed it was not evil. It claimed it would not strike. It claimed its venom was a fiction invented by fearful rivals.
Mandalore listened. Mandalore watched. And Mandalore learned.
For months, the serpent pressed closer, baring its teeth in subtle ways, testing resolve through insult, treachery, and carefully veiled threats. It circled Mandalore’s borders and its patience alike, waiting for the moment it could sink its fangs into flesh and still feign innocence. It hoped. It prayed. It stayed true to its nature.
But Mandalore sees clearly.
A serpent does not change because it is observed. It only waits.
And so Mandalore will do what must be done. When a threat reveals itself, you do not negotiate with it. You do not trust it. You end it. After months of deception and contempt, Mandalore answers the Diarchy’s wickedness with action. Our forces return to Yaga Minor, the world where peace was once offered in good faith, where cooperation was extended with honor rather than suspicion.
On that day, Mandalore hoped the Diarchy would rise above its nature.
But a snake is still a fething snake...
And the head will be severed.
