Where people would pay for things there was a much simpler solution, just friggen steal it. And that was the objective today, steal anything that wasn't bolted down to the floor. Hell even the tacky little pens in the office there were millions of, and do you want to know why? For Miss Blonde this wasn't about money, technology, or even ships. No this was about that good old queen called payback, and this would of course lead to a flash back. A long time ago Miss Blonde used to hang out with a few people known as the Rebel Alliance, and while arguably they made a few bad mistakes those mistakes lead to Miss Blonde being shot, threatened by Sith Lords, bombarded by ion cannons, and other bad things at the hands of the Techno Union or whatever their name was that week.

So now that everyone was all caught up it was time to get started, and that was in the area of nowish. Coming out of hyperspace around the capital of Roon the Black Tie fleet along with a few friends wanting to get in on the action exploded onto the scene of the now crumbling nation. The nation had been pawning off their larger star destroyers and Blonde was here to take everything else.

"Hello Gorgeous" Blonde said from the observation deck of the Red Dress.

Reaching towards her side she pulled her comm link and would patch into Fleet Communications.

"Plan is pretty simple, take everything, kill everyone who gets in your way. Now let's go make some money." Blonde said with a very wolfish grin afterwards.

The woman would then look back down into the void of the space and gaze upon the planet one last time with the grin of a predator nearing its dying prey. And silently she spoke to herself one more time before the operation would be launched.

"What's my name, queen?"

And let the acts of avarice and theft begin.

This was not a mercy mission. This was not a caring one. This was not about justice, kindness, or mercy. This was about a spacer who wanted and needed cash--and was willing to do good old fashioned work to get to it. The spacer looked back over his shoulder. Katsumoto stood not far behind him, flanked by his son and Ujio. Katsumoto, lord of the bladed warriors who now worked for James, the Tsubasano Senshi, gave the crimelord a nod of his head, "We are ready, my lord."

James placed the helmet of his Astrea armor on his head. It sealed shut with a hiss, through the vocalizer James' voice came through, "Let's have some fun, boys."

Their re-purposed MS-400 vessels, fitted for landing and mass troop transport, made a dive for the planet. James watched with a cold, critical eye as the surface grew closer. They would be the first to touch down. The first to take their own. The ships made a hard turn, landing in a massive clearing. Blaster fire began to ring out. James looked out the view port, they had landed on the droid factory districts; miles and miles of nothing but machinery that churned out war machines. But for now they were silent. James stepped out down the loading ramp, Katsumoto and company in tow. The metal clad warriors were filing out, milling into their companies as the well-trained body of warriors that they were. James looked over the factories. His sense tingled with suspicion. He was counting on resistance, this was--

A laser cannon shot fired overhead, screaming into one of the MS-400s. The cocpit blasted into a fireball of shrapnel.

"Soldiers, fall in!" Ujio shouted, resorting to his native language and job as a battlefield martial. "Prepare to charge!"

James raised his rifle and began squeezing off rounds, looking for an enemy among the buildings, finding none. He furrowed his brow, the sound of hundreds of virbokatanas being drawn filled the air. Katsumoto raised his weapon high into the air, his voice roared through the air in a battle cry, leading his soldiers to victory. James sighed, before falling in with them. He had a feeling they would need a man with a rifle. The only man with a rifle.

The sirens started blaring at the citadel, waking Werah from his meditation. "UNAUTHORISED STARSHIPS LANDING! UNAUTHORISED..." "Oh Feth", Werah cursed, pulling on his armour. Blaster at one side, Lightsaber at the other, he ran towards the living quarters, gathering the other Obsidian Knights. He turned on his wrist com, speaking to the TU Executive Council. "The TU is weakened, yes, but not destroyed. These criminals dared to attack the glorious capital itself. They will all perish!", was the message he was given. He prepped his ship, ready to get out if necessary, but for now...he was going to make the criminals pay...

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
Location: TU airfield
Objective: break in and steal crap
Allies: [member="James Justice"] [member="Stardust"] [member="Juwiela Melec"]
Enemies: [member="Werah Unon"]

It was almost ironic really, the ship that was stolen from Miss Blonde when the Ravens surrendered to the TU was now being used against them. Poetic justice at its finest, and it even made Blonde smile. But that smile quickly faded as she slapped on her phrik armor system and walked to one of the Dropships inside the Red Dresses small hanger.

Stepping in she gave the pilot a thumbs up and the ship soon after lifted and proceeded to make its way towards the planet's surface along with hundreds of others from various ships in the fleet. Her group of ships broke off and headed down towards a designated location.

Now when someone thought of people dropping into combat to go face the enemy it normally was of some badass troopers decked out in armor getting ready to go and get some. But today wasn't the case, nope in Miss Blonde's group the woman's ships were loaded to the brim with one thing. Astromech droids. And why astromech droids you might ask? Well it was simple really, they were headed towards the Unions biggest airfield where small craft were kept.

With the ships blazing down at breakneck speeds the ships soon landed outside the airfield where sirens were indeed blaring all around the planet. The drop ships opened up and it wouldn't be men storming the beaches of Normandy, but thousands of little R2, K1, and K2s provided by the illustrious [member="James Justice"] and crew.

"Roll my pretties! Roll!" Blonde said with a cackling laugh afterwards.

Of course the droids were now being backed up by people bringing up the rear with guns but they would push the airfield defenses which were quite light due to the whole nation crumbling apart, desertion was a beautiful thing, hell she was surprised they hadn't started looting from within yet.

Finally.

Finally, a chance to get the thing Ke'Cholo desired most.

Ever since the young Duros joined the Union, he had eyed their massive frigates, star destroyers, and dreadnaughts. Today, today was the day that wish was to come true. Ke'Cholo was currently driving a High Capacity Cargo Carrier with 30 of his best men sitting in the covered cargo area behind him. Inside the cabin was Ke'Cholo and Qaeth Idos. Ke'Cholo approached the entrance the massive airfield, several kilometers away he saw one of the ships he was after...the Collateralhulk.

Ke'Cholo, donning shades, approaching the officer guarding the entrance to the airfield. Ke'Cholo drove up to the the booth and rolled down his window.

''Sorry, can't enter. Facility is on lockdown, massive ship just exited hyperspace few kilos out.''

Ke'Cholo whipped out a security card and showed it to the man. The man shuffled around, trying to decide whether or not to let the mercenary enter. He eventually decided to open to gate, after verifying the cards' authenticity.

''I'm sorry for the delay, sir'' he said as the truck passed on through.

''Being a former high level T.U. sleemo has it's advantages.'' Ke'Cholo quipped to Qaeth.

Ke'Cholo accelerated the truck to maximum speed as he roared across the airfield. As the truck made it's way across the asphalt field, several large ship would exit hyperspace just above the field. As they did so, Ke'Cholo picked up the radio transmitter and spoke into it.

''Low security outside, we'll go ahead with the board. Prepare to land.''

She had to say, she didn't really like the way some of these Atrisians were looking at her. They eyed her lack of weapons and black attire with distaste, grumbling insults and some nonsense about 'no honor'. Apparently, they hadn't counted on her being able to speak Atrisian. She figured the time would come to reveal that information, and that time was not now.
Sighing, she accessed her neural implant, looking over footage from the other MS-400s around them. Roon was the capital of the dying Techno Union, once the Confederacy of Independent Systems. They weren't going to give it up without one hell of a fight.
At first, it seemed like she was wrong. They landed in the clearing without a hitch, the warriors milling around, getting in formation. She stayed on the edge, her implant working hard to access local systems. She was encountering. . . something, but it was difficult to-
She jumped in surprise as a blaster cannon fired, destroying one of their ships. The Atrisians gave a war cry, charging at the buildings where blaster bolts rained down upon them.
Cursing to herself, The Black Hat used her implant to poke where one of the blots were coming from, and of course, found droids to be the culprit.
Fantastic.
A quick thought activated the self destruct sequence on the droid, and she followed behind the warriors and [member="James Justice"], preferring not to draw attention to herself.

Unfortunately for KeCholo and his men the Collateralhulk was too large to be found on the ground in an airfield. They had to be constructed in drydock in space. There were, however, several grounded Wodrata pod carriers and Escort Frigates that might come in handy. The only problem was that their systems were all deactivated beyond repair. Assuming the raiding forces had some talented slicers and starship engineers they could probably get them up and running within twenty minutes or so.

The Collateralhulks in orbit were, unfortunately, unable to do anything useful beyond launch fighters. Roon was the very heart of the Techno Union and though that power was waning its vast automated defensive systems were still mobile. The three Space stations in orbit disgorged several Krell cruisers those heavy missile laden ships started to descend into low orbit to provide cover fire.

Unfortunately the assault required ground forces. No one had been selling off their Battle droids. They were present in numbers, as well as a number of ground to air Bucklers.

Stardust hummed as the truck bumped and moved along...a nice plan she had made to...a quote a couple of fighters from the techno Union that had caught her interest... Maybe she could sneak in with the chaos and use her old flight clearance to get a cxs-001-jackal interceptor while her pretty little k1s and k2s stole the cxs-000- grunt Starfighters

Now she felt he truck move again and called forward"hey this is my stop but don't stop jut keep driving"she said as she stood and opened the doors and stepped out as she rolled gently before standing and started running for the fighter hangar

When she arrived she spotted a guard who was tucked behind the building for cover as she grabbed him"hey you listen I need access to the interceptors now I need to get into the air to stop be fighters

The guard was confused as he stumbled with his words"I..I need clearance

Fine you want clearance "she said and took her old flight ID out" now hurry there's not now time

The guard quickly got the hangars open as star grinned"thanks oh and"she turned and shot a stun bolt at him causing him to fall"rewards come in odd ways ...you get to go back to your family...don't return

With that she started in

''Feth, she ain't down here.'' Ke'Cholo swore as he looked around the airfield. He quickly snatched up the radio transmitter and communicated with his flagship, Tek-1. A senior communications officer entered the call.

''Yes sir?''

''Ships we're looking for aren't down here-''

''-yes sir. We've located them, they're up here.''

''Good, send down a freighter and pick me up.''

Ke'Cholo drove the vehicle around to prevent any sort of weapons fire or lock. In only a minute or so, a large freighter landed on the airfield. Anti-aircraft canons did not pay attention to the vessel as Ke'Cholo had given them landing codes. The freighter opened it's back cargo hatch and Ke'Cholo drove the car right up into the vessel.

A few minutes later...

''Sir, we're within tractor beam range.'' a senior pilot told Ke'Cholo. He was resting in the captain's chair of Tek-1. Ke'Cholo smoked a cigar and had a bottle of brandy at his side.

''Are the other ships within range?'' he asked between cigar puffs.

''They are, I'll have them commence tractor beam locking.'' the four MK II Wanga cruisers Ke'Cholo owned would divert 50% power to the tractor beams and 50% to shielding. Damage to vessels was unlikely as they were built for situations like these. Each of them had 4 individual beams, meaning there was 16 among the fleet. Ke'Cholo's vessel, Tek-1 had gravity wells ready to activate so no ships could leave or enter hyperspace and The Salvation Gavel was loading her mass driver canon.

''Tractor beams locking on.'' the officer reported.

''Good, prepare a boarding party. Do not fire upon that vessel unless I say so.''

Luckily for KeCholo his wangas and salvation weren't alone up there, the flag ship of the Syndicate fleet the Red Dress was moving into position to engage the assault stations and the ships they were launching.

With the Red Dress two other battle groups of Hammerhead class cruisers along with Udarnik assault frigates began to fire upon both the stations and low atmosphere ships and would offer supporting fire to ensure that the Wanga's and Salvation Gavel could do their jobs. But it continued to get better for those up in orbit. With a few of the assault frigates lined up in position above the Wangas they started to shoot boarding pods at the hulk to get teams onboard to lift the vessel.

The idea was pretty simple, provide covering fire for the other ships and engage the enemy before they could engage the Wanga's pinning the Hulk and allowing teams to take it. It would be a rather impressive display of fire being exchanged between the fleets in orbit and for anyone watching.

Oh just lovely was all this one could think of saying while holding her tongue. Of all the blasted people to be stuck with on this raid, which don't get her wrong she was looking forward to the day it came across her desk. Just that some of the details didn't come to light until after the fact that everything was set in motions. Did she find out she would be working with none other then one [member="James Justice"] she wanted to do nothing but punch his teeth out right when seen that face of his. She didn't just stop inches to his face.

The other one she had been on another mission with she was strange but that was to her liking, this was the only thing that help her know that would get her through. That what Miss Blonde had promised her after this mission. Beside she could at less practice her own skills maybe her knew weapon of choice.

Lets go have some fun, and light them up.

As that ancient curse went, an interesting journey awaited the brave souls aboard those boarding pods. Even shielded they would face the thunderous outpouring of the Collateralhulk's point defences. Flak filled the air around the vessel with bright bolts from the quad lasers lancing through the murk to seek out the approaching vessels with pinpoint precision. Physical came into play when the vessels locked on with tractor beams. The laws of momentum were hardly neglected by tractor beams and those vessels dwarfed by the battlecruiser would be subject to powerful torsional strain. They might have been built to take it and fortunately the vessels likely had a similar engine capacity between all four. However the Collateralhulk in question fired all thrusters forwards. She would lurch forwards until all four vessels reoriented themselves and fired main engines in the opposite vector to counter.

Each Scimitar stations had a powerful array of weaponry and they held their own against the renewed assault. They focused fire on a single hammerhead. Those vessels relied heavily on their shields and had weak armour. In return the Scimitars boasted a heavy array of ion batteries. Assault concussion missiles followed the path led by energy torpedoes to splash against those shields in the wake of the staccato rhythm of ion strikes.

The most obvious difficulty the boarders would face, however, was the fact that the hangars resided on the tips of the circular arms. A long journey for anyone landing on a shuttle through a crew of tends of thousands, and many, many, blast doors. The boarding pods would fair better, able perhaps to latch onto the command centre itself. As usual klaxons blared and droids were released from their stations to defend against the boarders.

Bolo-class gunboats joined the swarm of droid fighters defending the stations and cruiser. Deadly to any smaller craft. What the Union really needed was some more escort frigates. That gravity well might make a useful window of re-entry to the 5th Defensive fleet that was preparing to make the jump back to the capital from its patrol run down the Mara corridor.

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
The combined assault of three assault platforms would easily cause catastrophic damage and destruction to a single Hammer Head Cruiser, however in doing so it left a lot of the platforms open to attack. The Red Dress bolstering a huge array of guns leveled them on the furthest right station and focus everything it had on it along with an additional two assault frigates firing torpedoes, turbolasers, ion cannons, everything they had in their arsenal. The other assault frigates would focus on the second, the hammer heads which would divide forces to hit the third and return fire to the ships in low orbit and keep them nice and tied up in an engaging. Though this was only the beginning for the Union forces, things were going to get much much worse.

And for those on the collateral hulk it was about to go from zero to sixty real freaking quick. The drop pods that weren't destroyed hit in dozens of locations across the ship, but it wasn't men who came out of them, it wasn't even droids. What rolled out of them were grenades with with a symbol painted on them. And within a matter of seconds the grenades mixed with other deadly gases would explode and fill various segments of the ship with gas that caused a lot of those tens of thousands to choke on their own blood across the ship and defense stations.

"Council Member Green Giant! You are clear for now! Board with masks before they start venting the toxins! Masks on!"

And with that the plans were starting to come together. They had suffered a casualty of a ship but losses were to be expected on this operation.

[member="Irys Arist'lar"] [member="KeCholo"]

Werah flew out, his personal interceptor responding effortlessly to his every move. He flew over to the TU Airfield, watching as the huge amounts of droids and soldiers ran out. Pressing a button, he called in a few thousand nearby battle droids. He flew around, getting in a few shots, but they were shooting back, and he had to abandon the effort. Chucking a EMP grenade below, he tried to take out the astromechs. Without waiting, he flew off into orbit. It looked like that was where the battle was...

Stardust got inside and found the interceptor looked ready to fly because she needed to quickly get out of there"alright baby"she said as she opened the cock pit and got inside as she looked over the controls and started it up before flying out as she watched another interceptor fly over"holy....I'll get you next ...after I get out"she said and flew off away from the battle to a cruiser waiting with her thunder aboard it"alright

She landed got out switched fighters and left...with the cruiser shooting off into hyperspace... Now she had to help her friends out

''Divert shield power to engines!!'' one of the head engineers screamed into the intercom connected to all the ships. The engines of all four Wanga cruisers suddenly doubled their power, pulling back against the massive ship. The Salvation Gavel turned to face one of the massive space stations, it had just reported to Ke'Cholo that it was almost finished loading. The space stations were sitting ducks as they had little power to move.

''Prepare to board!'' Ke'Cholo yelled at the Urko Marines as they loaded into the boarding pods. He looked at them all very carefully, as he knew this would be the last time he saw several of them.

Ke'Cholo loaded several of the best Urko soldiers into his personal freighter, he launched out of the hanger of Tek-1 and headed towards the massive ship. As he made the very short trip there, he saw many, many boarding pods land on various parts of the ship. But, many were also shot down. Luckily, the marine were equipped with space suits so the ones that survived the blasts would be able to drift back to the ships and try again or make their way to the vessel. Ke'Cholo turned back around, and examined the best of the Urko soldiers he had with him. Several were in mech suits, others were warlords.

Eventually, he made his way to the large hanger in the middle of the ship. He landed and opened the door to the back of his freighter, which might as well have been the door to hell...

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
Great thing about drop ships was that they had guns, and the second best was that they had fighter escorts. When the lone star fighter took out a few dozen droids and let loose a battalion on them they were ready. The drop ships would get up and open their sides or ramps to have E-Web gunners let loose on the droids ripping them to shreds or forcing them to take cover while the fighters did small fast paced strafing runs on them. Black Tie enforcers would set up a front and provide a base line of fire to hit the droids and keep them separated from the astromechs as they proceeded into the air field.

Now they would of course lose plenty of droids along the way but as they went inward they started the process of entering their ships and warming them up for take off. They had only penetrated the inner parts of the field and the really good stuff was deeper in but for now a few of the mass produced fighters were falling under control of the little droids.

Blonde was there as well, she was organizing droids, telling them where to go, and of course providing fire. With a pulse rifle in her arms loaded with shock rounds she would lay waste to various droids trying to move in and flank them out. Thankfully they were able to suppress them but the situation could very well change on the drop of a dime.

It's about time. Finally, the pilots had been scrambled for another mission. But it wasn't just another hit-and-run attack on some imperialist adversary. No, this one had a more personal touch. Their target was the Techno Union, the task assigned being to hold off any resistance in space until those on the ground were finished with their work. The Rebels had faced this enemy in the past, twice consecutively with the duo invasions of Geonosis that happened within a few month's time of each other. Both had incurred heavy losses in their ranks, and Juwiela had both seen and caused far too much death in those battles to ever really fully recover. Now was the chance for something akin to revenge, though nothing would really repay that.

She and a handful of other pilots burst out of hyperspace, a naval battle being the first thing that drew her attention. Immediately she opened up communications with all nearby friendlies, tuning to the encrypted frequency of the Rogues as well. "Anyone who can fly a ship half decently, I want you in the air and on me. If any Rogues are listening in right now, you know the drill. Form up. All wings report in." It felt good to be in command of Rogue Squadron again, especially for something like this. A broad grin was on her face as she piloted closer to the fray, not quite moving to engage just yet. However much she wanted to start laying waste to the enemy ships, strategy was the name of the game in any environment like this.

A line was opened to [member="Miss Blonde"], the one she had been notified of running this little excursion. "So long as you don't have any objections, the Rogues are moving to engage. Any pilots of yours you can spare would be appreciated. We're going to want space superiority for this one. Awaiting your orders." Communications were cut off as she waited for a reply, and the modified systems of her ship beeped a notification, causing her to open comms to [member="Stardust"], "Reading your IFF, Spirit Fire. Join up as soon as you can so we can get this started."

Sid was situated in the back of a moving speeder truck. They were one of many as the Black Ties swarmed down like bees that like to sting your tongue when you try to lick their honey, so you get mad and smash the nest, but then that only makes the bees---

Yelling and gunfire interrupted Sid's reverie of a bygone age. An age where Sid was just a sloth. Today was a new day and today, Sid was a bad ass.

The truck gates slammed down to the ground and men poured forth into the streets and towards the local armory. Hoisting his akimbo submachine guns above his head, he gave forth a slothy war cry and charged with them. By the time he was off the speeder truck, there was no one in sight. He could hear gunfire in the distance. However, this would not stop our resident bad ass. There would be blood. They would burn the horses, rape the churches and ride away on the women.

He turned the street corner and found that most of the fighting had died down as the victorious Black Ties gang men were now stripping the armory for what it was worth. Curse these sloth feet, for they were slow as can be. He gave yet another sloth war cry and fired rounds into the air. This gave him a sense of satisfaction. Sid was now satisfied.
