Evie had been good.
That was the game and how it had to be played.
These notions of being good for Goddess and tricks for treats disgusted the woman known as Evelynn. She, unlike her more obedient and pliant self did not enjoy the rounds of indignity that she seemed to suffer each and every day. Of course most of the time the woman was helpless to sit back and watch as she played the role of the good pet.
Most of the time.
Nemene's control over her, while seemingly unbreakable was not concrete. Over time it faded. Evie once again became Evelynn, until those magic words came out to play once more. Be good, Evie. It was the cycle of her life now, she had become trapped in a haze of Sith Sorcery and submission, watching on helplessly as she played the role of the stupid, senseless slave.
Yes, yes. No longer a sister. No longer human. Perhaps even less than a slave. A thing, a creature, a pet.
In her moments of clarity the woman was too petrified to turn her mind to notions of revenge or escape. No, no. What if Nemene sensed her thoughts? After all there was still the matter of their bond, although admittedly it was rather one-sided now with her sister-turned-Master only allowing her to feel what she granted, it was likely that the other way around nothing was sacred, nothing was secret.
Well, almost nothing. You don't spend years in an abusive hurricane of a relationship without learning to conceal a thing or two and besides, Nemene had won, she had no reason to constantly scrutinise her pet.
But Evelynn would play this game wielding honesty, for the sake of her remaining sanity.
She was currently in the midst of enjoying her treat. Yes, twelve hours of complete freedom onboard the ship. That was a laugh and a half. The brainless little creature known as Evie didn't know what to do with that much free time, she would just sleep, or sit and simper, full of joy knowing that she had pleased her Goddess.
It was disgusting.
The doors to the observation deck slid open, yet Evelynn did not step inside, head bowed and icy blue eyes staring firmly at the ground.
“Goddess, may I speak with you?”
That was the game and how it had to be played.
