They Might Be Gas Giants (OS Dominion of Taloraan)

[1/20]
Location: On the back of a moving Sleft-Chuff
Near: [member="Darth Ophidia"]
Finally he arrived to the field of battle, the Togruta Knight
Proudly dressed in black tunics, the dark robes of the Sith!
Late as he was, he was now ready for a fight
Dancing Makashi with a girl who was Rattataki, not a Bith!
Though she was a Lord, he would come at her with all his might!
The brave hunter with tribal markings took his opening pose
The view of the planet below was magnificent, Taloraan was such a beauty
High above the ground, coming sideways on the Sleft-Chuff a heavy wind rose
But enough scenery, swinging his crimson lightsaber, in stepped the cutie togrutie!
Blades met in simple sidestep and parry; that's the move he chose
With both blades intended to slide to the side
After a quick tap, he directed towards her a quick stab
He remained true to the form, its rules he would abide
Every hit would sting, he wasn't wearing his crab!
Instead he was quick on his feet, one shoulder towards her, tempting her pride

Animus stood before the end of the walkway for a few minutes until the Gunships arrived, The Hogs were here, Semi Big gunships, with a lot of firepower. "Let's go let's go let's go!!" Animus jumped from the platform into the main ramp of the Hog just a few feet away before Ruby would jump right behind him. Animus pated the pilot on the shoulder to depart.

Suddenly beskar armored Soldiers were falling from the hatch, but before they could engage the Gunship, Animus began firing his E-11 at their position in an effort to pin them down and not allow them to rain fire on the Hog. The Hog began moving, as Animus strafed a side through it's hatch door continuing controlled burst fire into their position and the Walkway itself. Luckily, the Enemies on the walkway kept their heads down long enough for the Hog to make it out, even through the controlled burst fire was light and singular.

"So far i'm winning!!" Animus said with a laugh and sticking his tongue out at his companion inside the Hog, however his demeanor changed when he noticed that the Hog was heading out of Battle.

"Pilot, our destination is not to leave the Battle, do you copy? Take us back in and triangulate the position of master Ferus, That is where we are going"

"Negative Sir, our orders are to get you out of this Battlefield, not to transport you back into the Hot Zone Sir"

Animus stood up and unclipped his saber igniting it next to the Pilot's neck, looking in his direction, Suddenly as he did this, the Co-pilot put his blaster behind Animus' head.
"Listen you karking son of a Rancor, My Teacher is down there, and we are NOT Leaving without him" Animus' eyes glared in yellow beams as he removed his contact lenses before he continued.

"You have the Displeasure of riding with the Only Sith who values Honor. Now... We can all die here and plummet this hog into our deaths, or you can take us to The Hot Zone and Breathe for another day... Your Call Capitan" A silence fell upon the Hog only drowned out by its engines, the Captain's eyes could be seen through his Vizor, but Animus did not care if he died from a blaster shot by the Co-captain in the back of the head. He was not leaving this war zone without Ferus, With a body bag or in pieces he was coming back one way or the other.

After a while the captain nodded and turned the Hog back, Animus turning off the Lightsaber looking back at the Co-pilot who lowered his blaster at the same time. He made his way back to his seat and took his place next to Ruby, "Just a little problem with directions is all, No worries Little Lady" Animus laughed, never letting a moment of near death go by without musing at it's existence...

Shutta.

Ferus could only watch as the Gen'Dai shot it's tentacles out to grab a hold of him. Having just reloaded, there was little he could do as his body was bound. Helplessly he was dragged into the air, struggling against the bonds. All around him the Force swelled as he tried to keep himself from getting crushed as he soared, his red gaze ever on Kezeroth. He did not scream, did not show any sign of anger, save for his struggle against being crushed.

If the creature wanted to kill him, it would have. For now, he would have to wait.

The Gen'dais chuckle continued as they climbed in height, occasionally Kezeroth would look down at the Sith within his grasp and jerk him around slightly in jeer. From the look of things the Assassin did not look happy being trapped like this but it was too darn exciting to let him go..yet. The Jet pack roared and grav boots growled as they continued to function sending them up. Changing angles Kezeroth suddenly leaned forward in a new direct with a whiplash like motion. Below everything could be seen the entire invasion that was taking place. Blaster fire scattered, screams shrouded the city along with explosions. Midst the chaos below the Giant tilted his head and pointed to a specific scene below, two familair warriors fighting it out. [member="Vrag"] the armored one and @Kiera Ticon... Well look at that!

Rarely did the Giant believe in destiny but this time he was sure it that what he was thinking was truly meant to happen. Glancing back at the Sith in his grasp Kezeroth shouted " 1200 Years ago I witness first hand a Sith fly.... Lets see if Histor repeats its self!" The Gen'dai smiled suddenly releasing Ferus in a under hand push toward the ground 100 meters below. Cutting off power in his Jet pack Kezeroth slowly began to descend down couple feet above Ferus.

Staring directly at the Sith below him, he could only smile and point his wrist blaster at his body. Red streams of energy began to fire randomly down at The Shadow of the Emperor and also at the Emperors Hand below...[member="Vrag"].

" You Sith never change, Your views will always stay the same. The Darkside is strongest when it rules YOU not you rule HIM!" he suddenly expressed his view point of the Darkside as he continued to fire. Addressing the "HIM" part of the Gen'dais comment was to indict insanity. The Force was not a gender or a person... Why did this monster believe other wise?

Isamu Baelor

Protector of The Iron Realm
Objective: Take over Taloraan city
Location: Makeshift Headquarters
Allies: One Sith, [member="Darth Noxia"]http://starwarsrp.net/user/8821-isamu-baelor/
Enemies: Taloraan Loyalist Forces

“Darth Noxia.” Isamu gave the Sith Knight a respectful bow of his head, as he spoke her name. “Our invasion is all but won.” The words left Isamu’s mouth, but seemed to be caught. They tugged on another thought, another sentence, and dragged it from the mouth of the stalwart soldier. “Our role, however, is far from finished”

Isamu turned from Darth Noxia, and brought up an image on the holo-terminal. “The commander of the loyalist forces.” Isamu stated. The face that appeared before them was one of an older man. Grizzled, scarred, a tiredness in his eyes from years of fighting. In many ways similar to Isamu’s own. “His forces are crumbling all around him, but even now, he still fights.”

A look crept onto the face of Isamu. It was complicated; one part understanding and another respect. “He knew they stood no chance against us, but he did his duty. In the face of certain defeat, he did his duty. I can respect that.” Respect and understanding washed away. What was left was cold, and grim. “However, a man like that, he must be dealt with.”

“If he is allowed to escape, he will continue fighting.” Isamu explained to Darth Noxia. “A man like that will never put down his weapon. He will never rest. He will rally whatever remains of the loyalist forces, and he will fight, tooth and nail.” Isamu added. “In the open; in the shadows. In the streets; in the back alleys. It will be a guerrilla war.”

“How do I know this?” Isamu asked, rhetorically. “Because that’s what I would do.” In a galaxy so mired in filth and greed, Isamu could discern those who were similar to himself. Those who were ingrained with a deep sense of loyalty, and duty. He saw it in the eyes of this commander, and he saw it in the eyes of Darth Noxia. “Duty, Darth Noxia.” Isamu said. “Duty never ends.”

Nomkneer gazed upon the giant as he soared across the sky and worried for his master. Nomkneer quickly told his men "Lets follow the giant and help Lord Ferus!". Nomkneer and his soldiers quickly started sprinting towards the giant who has grip of his master. He then noticed he was heading towards the back of the city and continued rushing and sprinting until exhaustion was all he felt.

Nomkneer followed Kezeroth to the back of the city as he flew and soared through the sky, not seeing him thinking of landing, he kept at the same direction the giant was headed to. Nomkneer ended at the location where Vrag was in and he noticed Lord Vrag was fighting with a jedi master whom Nomkneer did not recognize. Kezeroth finally stopped flying towards the back of the city and looked as if floating in the air looking down upon us all. Nomkneer ordered his men to set up a perimeter around Lord Vrags battle and immediately after the perimeter was set, Nomkneers men started to engage and shot blasters on the giant as he was coming down from the skies.

Nomkneer Ordered his men "Stay on your toes, this giant has more tricks than a mandalorian". Immediately Nomkneers soldiers replied "Yes Sir!"
after some shots were fired Nomkneer noticed that 12 soldiers were arriving to the scene. The soldiers immediately asked Nomkneer to identify himself, all while blasters were pointed toward Nomkneer. Nomkneer noticed these were elite soldiers but he did not care and speak, but with the activation of his 2 red lightsabers, the elite soldiers knew that he was a Sith!. Nomkneer told them "My name is Nomkneer an acolyte of Lord Ferus who took charge of this, once batallion and now 4 rookie soldiers who have seen battle this day". Suddenly Nomkneer points up and says "There is your enemie, That giant, Kezeroth he Beholder!!". as he told the elite soldiers who he was and who his enemy really is, the soldiers apologized to Nomkneer saying "sorry for we did not know who you were, we are the elite squad sent by [member="Isamu Baelor"] and we have come to aid in the destruction of Kezeroth the Beholder".

Apparently 'deadly' and 'underhanded' shared the same meaning, or maybe Keira had actually found an opponent willing to use any strategy to win just as she herself had done in the past. It would have been refreshing, had there not been a fist currently crashing towards her. Fortunately in her life she had learned how to take a hit more or less gracefully, with and without the added assistance of the ethereal. If she had a choice, like most she would much rather avoid the strike altogether, but that wasn't exactly an option given the close quarters. At the very least she could redirect the majority of the damage through a bit of careful maneuvering. It was better than getting hit straight on, at any rate.

Shifting her feet her body turned as well, the movement intended to allow her to avoid the punch entirely, though she wasn't entirely fast enough. Instead of connecting directly she was hit more so in the side. That wasn't to say it hurt any less, but nothing had connected with any vital organs either. It was the little things she had learned to appreciate. A grimace flashed across her face, but even still she drew on the Force to dull the pain to a quiet ache that could be ignored and pushed away for the moment. An actual assessment of the damage that had been dealt would be done once the fight was over, as she fully intended to walk away from this. Perhaps worse for wear, but walk away all the same.

In her mind there really wasn't any disparity in rank to contend with. Title meant nothing without the ability to back it up, but regardless she knew they were both masters in their own right. That made this clash a touch more destructive than it otherwise would have been, but it was considered a slow day if she didn't almost die at one point, anymore. All the better if the one that nearly took her life had no qualms with utilizing any technique in order to claim victory. Honor was meaningless, on that the both of them could certainly agree. There wasn't much else to ask for, so long as you survived at the end of the day. Nothing but skill played a part in that, and she refused to believe any differently.

Her time would have likely been better spent carefully calculating her options, and she would have, had there been any real time granted to do so. But there wasn't, and she was impulsive as always, striking where instinct told her and only considering the advantages and detriments after the fact, when it was much too late to take anything back. There was no reason why this time should have been any different, and it wasn't, not really. A flash of orange struck out towards her opponent's face, ideally the most vulnerable area given the armor donned. It was a preliminary strike, but an attack nonetheless. Briefly a familiar presence touched on her senses, one that almost entirely distracted her. Without thinking she made that connection through the Force, touching on Kezeroth's mind, "What are you doing here?"

Freedom.

Ferus could only grin as he was finally let loose by the monster. Even though he was thrown down to the ground, he couldn't help but just grin up at the beast above him. Ferus couldn't fly, or glide, but he did know one trick to help him out. Finally free he pulled around his gun around just as the beast brought up his own. There was little Force used on the slugthrower to keep it steady, rather, a quick shot was used, aiming for any part of the behemoth.

Instead, his focus was on a barrier. As the shots came down at him, a shimmering field of purple took the shots, fracturing beneath them. This wasn't going to hold, and the ground below was rapidly approaching. Without really caring about his blaster anymore, the Sith chucked the gun to the side, where it continued to fall with him thankfully, and brought his hand up to Gen'dai's form.

A pull would be used, but not to drag Kezeroth to Ferus. It was a reversed pull, sending the Sith suddenly upwards as he soared past the behemoth and got above him. The action was quick, spontanious, and meant to simply give him the 'higher' ground on their decent. As he went up, the barrier fell, he grabbing his blaster on the way. Laser fire pelted his form, causing a grimace, but thankfully the merc armor had enough of a layer of armor to keep it from completely shredding him.

He'd certainly feel it later.

Now hopefully above Kezeroth, he would level the gun for the back of the monsters head and fire three more times, hoping to simply break the back of the things neck.

A hybrid of surprise and frustration briefly appeared on her features as her opponent shook off the punch without apparent injuries, but Vrag wouldn't still be around if she got held up by unexpected turns during combat for more than a systole. A change of tactics was in order, though.

Well, no time to dawdle when your opponent's lightsaber is dancing mere centimentres away. Instead of lingering on the seemingly legendary endurance of her foe, Vrag pressed the advantage close quarters presented her, and quite literally so; as the girl made to strike at her head, the Hand of the Dark Lord strode into her personal space with a forward crossing step. The horns of her helmet would rear in defense of the Skerr Dhaladii, blocking the attack with a minute adjustment in the angle at which they normally jutted out of the skull.

It was in that moment, with the two essentially flush against each other, that the amphistaff coiled inside the mouth of her helmet would lunge forth in a flash of movement, cutting across the negligible distance separating the two opponents with every intent to sink its fangs deep into whatever spot of exposed flesh it could find.

"Directions huh? I can hear everything you say in the comms you know". Ohh how embarrassing for the up and coming Sith. Caught in the act of intimidating someone. Maybe he'd care cause she was such a sweet young girl. Besides the brutality she could emit on enemies. Ruby did feel bad for all the Sith soldiers she might have hurt or killed. She was only following orders from her Master but it still tore her up to think of it. Ruby changed focus back to Ferus. He needed their help, possibly. If he was still fighting that monster he could sure use it. The warbird had turned about, headed back to Taloraan . It would only be a minute or two longer before they were overhead the battle ravaged city.

Animus smiled and shrugged now hearing the battle again getting closer. Animus was never about to leave his teacher back down there alone, besides, the battle was not over, and this Conquest would be finished. As the Hog came down close by the mass warfare it came under fire from Loyalist Taloraan troopers high in the air the only way they could get down was to drop 25 feet to the rooftop of a Living Quarter. "Well Aren't you glad i did?" Animus said dropping with no consequences laughing all the way down. Now however, he was overjoyed, ecstatic, Joining Lord Ferus in combat and lucky enough, out of that blasted Mercenary uniform and now with light lightsaber ignited in his hand. By the Force did it feel good to be free.

Dropping down hitting the roof hard he darted to the nearest battle position and the direction he felt feeling his Teacher, Animus dashed through the battlefield deflecting blaster bolts and slicing any troopers that got in his way. He was free, truly free, to use the Force without fear of Hiding it in Force Stealth, to unleash true fury! Lightning sparked in his hand, his Hatred condensing into once point in his fingertips and he aimed it at a trooper behind the enemy position. His screams brought a smile of Satisfaction as he stepped over the Agonizing soldier pulling deep inside of him to en his life, it was a slow painful, loud and brutal death for all his comrades to see. [member="Nomkneer artzhul"] and the Men from [member="Isamu Baelor"] were already on the other side of the battle if, where most of this has happened but for now Animus was taking out these small pockets of resistance, one by one.

The Togruta Knight, strong and tribal, tempted her Pride
They were both unarmoured, a single hit could have them each unmade
At least they would die to a scenery, what a ride!
As he presented his point, she led his attack astray with her blade.
Turning trajectory in swing, her bloodshine blade darted for his side.
It was a dangerous thing, but the Force was their aid.
Their blades would clash and crash ceaselessly.

They were as monster of legend, fighting without leniency.
The Dark Side was clear on their face.

The Assassin was rugged in his movements, His final destination and move was truly unexpected. To use the Gen'dai as a grip to pull himself higher was respectable in Kezeroths eyes. But what came next was rather dirty. The trigger of Ferus's weapon moved three more times, the bang of shots echoed and Kezeroth shrugged as the slugs connected with the back of his neck. The force behind the weapon dented and cracked the armor in his lower back of his neck, This was a getting dangerous now. The Gen'dai had no bones and thanks to the advanced regeneration the attack was quickly healed over, but the armor would remain damaged and would probably only wear down even more.

Directing his body down and diving toward the earths below assisted by his grav-boots and jet pack Kezeroth quickly descended and found the ground harshly in a slide that brought him to a wall. The Crash was not as big as expected due to the force summoned and used to slow him, but dust and debris stirred greatly. Quickly recovering the Giant sprinted out of the dust cloud on the ground and snapped his head to the sky that held [member="Darth Ferus"] at a distance.

The Beholders eyes flashed some as he examined Ferus getting falling and the fact that land was soon to come only made Kezeroth grin. The Darkside swirled and gathered to the Monsters eyes in a strange way. It was as if all his hate was being stored in his vision. From the distance one could tell something was off and that this looked like a stare down but Kezeroth waiting for the time to strike!

Nomkneer stood his ground with his men and the elite soldiers. As [member="Kezeroth the Beholder"] came down from the skies, he ordered his men " engage when the time is right, take distance for this giant can kill you with one strike". Nomkneer stood looking up to the sky, glaring at Kezeroth and wishing his death. Kezeroth wasnt gonna just die because the're some soldiers with blasters under him, he was more concerned with Darth ferus and the fact that he was the only really dangerous one in the crowd, but that doesnt mean that Nomkneer and the soldiers aside him weren't dangerous, infact, if Kezeroth does not keep his eyes on all of his enemies. He might see what these soldiers and mere acolyte can really do.

Narrowly avoiding a blood bath
And back into a guard his blade did sway

Now it was her turn to come to him with something to prove

He had expected merely a clash of blades
Ready to brandish his Makashi skill
It would appear this duel came in many shades
This was certainly no time to chill!
On his back, nearly falling off the craft
He raised his blade to block her assault
But it wasn't over, in fact, he laughed
Time to make the Rattataki vault
His crimson moved hers with a tilt of the wrist
His off-hand lifted with fingers whitening
Shooting at her today's plot twist
It was time for Force Lightning

But it was too much for her to handle
She was thrown back and landed on her butt like a laughing stock
And in the Sleft-Chuff' lit up like a candle.

Catching her balance, she grinned, having fun.
The Sleft-Chuff bucked, she jumped with the trampoline of meat.
With the buck she was launched ahead, no need to run.
Landing barely on her feet before her opponent, she whipped her blade on guard.
She pointed the bloodshine blade at the rusty man.
But the bucking did not subside, and finding balance was hard.
Yet she lunged forward, taking the chance and aiming to cut his hand.
Perhaps she could disarm him, or did he have a trump-card?
