Built with assistance from The Family’s top Gunsmiths, the Theurge-01 Gauntlet is a high-tech piece of gear which allows its wearer a number of powerful enhancements. Firstly, the item is difficult to identify at a glance; the integrated blaster pistol is well-concealed within the gauntlet itself until deployed, and the face of the item appears nondescript, resembling a simple armored gauntlet until its’ features are activated.
The gauntlet’s primary function utilizes an integrated Intelligence/Surveillance package codenamed “Theurge”, which provides a link between a small drone (deployed separate to the gauntlet; The drone most often utilized is the N-12 Virus Droid) The user may direct the drone, accessing its’ surveillance & technical abilities, as well as monitoring the status of a deployed drone.
The weapon’s secondary function is a grappling hook concealed within; the high-strength cord provides a tactical edge over the battlefield, enabling the user to cross distances & ascend/descend to heights typically unreachable.
The weapon’s tertiary function provides a small, concealed holdout-blaster similar in power and range to a Model 44 Blaster Pistol; somewhat lower in power and range, but effective at close range for defensive & offensive purposes. The blaster pistol functions off its’ own separate circuit, and the blaster may not be deployed in-tandem to the gauntlet’s other functions; however, switching from one mode to the other is easily accomplished.
The weapon also possesses a GPS locator contained within allowing for those with access to the frequency to track the wearer in real-time. The gauntlet is worn on the left forearm.
