There's Always A Bigger Ship

Seraya Whisperwind said:
She felt a familiar sensation rmble from the deck, up through her boots and nodded. She knew that feeling, and it was not good.
The rumble was the feel of engines tuning over. Massive engines.
"They're launching. If we wanna slow 'em down, we have to make this quick. Real quick...."

Grozurra nodded at the woman, closed his eyes, and reached out with the force. Cold metal, wires, power conduits... Grozurra felt the echo of the ship in the force. The small freighter his feet planted themselves upon, and the much larger one that it was docked within. Holding up a hand as if touching the leaf of a tree branch, Grozurra felt the flow of power through massive artificial veins. His mind, his senses, his presence in the force followed these veins back to their source. Through meter after meter after hundreds of meters... Grozurra found the beating heart of the massive ship. A miniature star raging within the electromagnetic confines of an Imperial cage...

Grozurra felt the ship move... Oh so slowly it moved, inching forth from it's womb and into the freedom of the void.

In his minds eye, his near-meditative projection of self circled the reactor, taking in it's composition, it's structure, it's engineering. Containment field emitters, emergency shutdown devices, reactor cooling systems... Grozurra found each in turn, one after the other. His left hand joined his first in the air before himself. Silently, without warning, and without prior indication... Grozurra clenched his right hand into a fist, then his left. in unison, the primary and secondary containment field emitters we're crushed, crumpled in on themselves. Grozurra's hands opened again, only to close again in turn. This time it was the emergency shutdown control and the reactor cooling system that we're crushed and destroyed.

With a smile on his hairy face, Grozurra opened his eyes and found himself back aboard the old freighter, standing beside [member="Seraya Whisperwind"].

"Huuur rawr rawr raaaaa raaaa." Grozurra said as the massive ship's reactor bloomed to life, a star no longer contained by the tampering of mortal hands.
