APPEARANCE:
Thel is a boy in his early teens. He is of average height with a lean, athletic build gained from years of training and conditioning, shaggy brown hair and tanned skin. His dark eyes are unusually intense for someone so young.
STRENGTHS:
Child Soldier: Trained since infancy in the ways of the warrior, Thel is very familiar with combat tactics, weapons, and armor. Useful in a pinch, his penchant for violence juxtaposed with his youth can be jarring for some.
Improvisation: Improvise, adapt, overcome.
Laid Back: Maybe a little too much for his own good. Thel has been exposed to so much insanity from such a young age that nothing really fazes him anymore.
New Rich Kid: Thel is keenly aware that his adoption into the fabulously wealthy Bloodscrawl family is a privilege few will ever experience. He strives to make his adoptive parents proud and doesn't take any of it for granted.
WEAKNESSES:
Child Soldier: Because of the warrior culture he grew up in, Thel may be a bit too quick to resort to violence as a means of solving problems - and he's probably a bit more comfortable than he ought to be with killing.
Traumatized: You don't survive a childhood with a homicidal cultist mom and a homicidal android dad without needing serious therapy.
Insensitive: He can be honest to a fault and is incredibly blunt, especially when it comes to war and death.
Berserk Button: I'm not going to tell you what it is that sets him off, but you'll definitely know if you do happen to press his buttons.

Childhood

The son of refugees turned Citizen-Soldiers of House Io, Thel was born on Khemost, the mysterious frozen world chosen by Laertia Io as a capital for her faction. Nathan Bloodscrawl
. He never saw Percival again; the Chaplain was killed during the Battle of Khemost. His mother remains alive, but he has limited contact with her due to her corrupted state. Nathan and House Bloodscrawl are his family now... sort of. Thel has grown into a rebellious youth who chafes against the authority of others. He wants to get out there and find his own destiny on his own terms.
