Eternal Father
A shuttle descended through the blood-red stratosphere, approaching a landscape enriched with bramble forests and sharp angular mountains. Few settlements dotted the landscape, those that did were deeply entwined within the harsh and unforgiving forests and mountains. The shuttle came to rest on a flat expanse of stone, one of the few cleared off sections of an otherwise untamed and feral world. Pressurized air hissed out as the hydraulics bore the weight of the craft as it rested, a boarding ramp lowering from the fuselage to the groaning of tempered metal.
Dark figures emerged from the dense treeline. Several were wispy and ethereal, dressed in dark red fabrics echoing spiritualistic traditions and ancient secrets. Their faces were covered by a veil, their hair concealed behind interwoven bands of cloth. The others that moved alongside them were distinctly inhuman, they weren't even living creatures. They were automatons of metal and synthetic, tactical droids emblazoned with the paint schematic of the Sith Empire. Their loud whirring mechanisms were a loud contrast to the deathly silent procession of the Nightsisters.
From within the shuttle emerged a motley crew of technicians, laborers, engineers, and acolytes of the Dark Side, all led by the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Carnifex. Runic armor cloistered His bronzed flesh, the scars of a thousand battlefields crossing every inch of skin. His head was left uncovered, graying hair fluttering in the strong breeze that howled down from the distant mountains. Baleful eyes, halos of molten copper submerged in black shadow, peered out from under a heavy brow to observe the nearing group.
"The time has come for us to leave this world, it is no longer safe for our experiments."
To the Nightsisters He spoke, "Gather the useful and load them onto the oncoming transports, take the artifacts with you."
To the Tactical Droids He spoke, "Transmit the data onto hard drives, I do not trust their transmission through dangerous commwaves. Organize the garrison to remain behind, but inform the officers to depart."
He then turned back to those that had traveled with Him to Dathomir, "You know your tasks, perform them. I must travel to the Gate."
