CONTENT INFORMATION

Based of the original concept of Alchemy and Imbue Item, the Order of the Lotus Moon created what they refer to as a Light Side Alchemy aptly named Al'chima. Unlike alchemy of the Dark Side, Al'chima doesn't create but imbues items like weapons, armor, gadgets, and jewelry with Light Side Force abilities.

Al'chima can only imbue items with defensive or healing abilities associated with the Force's Light Side. It cannot create items of destruction or harm, regardless of it having the tag of Light Side. However, it can imbue items that directly affect the Dark Side and it's practitioners. Also, Al'chima cannot be used in such a way to create trinkets that enhance physical and mental skills, but it can be utilized to imbue trinkets that protect physical and mental attacks. It can imbue items that strengthen one's connection to the Force, but not items that can disrupt, block, or sever the Force of another.

Al'chima, unlike Dark Side alchemy, cannot be used to create or twist living sentients into living monstrosities. Like Dark Side alchemized items can be possibly destroyed or heavily affected by the Light Side, any item infused via Al'chima is subject to the same fate; powers of the Dark Side can possibly destroy Light Sided infused items.

The holocron is used to house the teachings of Al'chima. The holocron possesses many interesting topics. Outside of the knowledge of Al'chima, there are several additions from members of the Order of the Lotus Moon bestowing their own personal experiences through small lectures on the mechanics of Al'chima. A small guide and demonstrations of imbuing items from past members. The holocron does not actually teach Al'chima, but grants those seeking knowledge regarding Al'chima the tools to understand the physics on how to properly conduct experiments; essentially leaving the success to the individual's own ability to learn.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The Order of the Lotus Moon has always been historically connected to the Light Side of the Force, or embracing individuals who chose the alignment of Neutrality. The Order after creating their own dogma, based of the real-life ancient Bushido philosophy, The Consiglio (Council) began branching out seeking knowledge and techniques to better equip and protect those associated with the Order of the Lotus Moon. Most of the Force abilities, techniques, taught and utilized focused on defense, whilst melee weapons like lightsabers, staffs, and vibroweapons filled the need of the offensive role.

After The Tears of the Betrayal, The Consiglio needed to find a Force based solution to not only counter the Dark Side, but utilize the Force to enhance items such as trinkets and weapons; thus came Al'chima. Al'chima is a Light Side based alchemy, that seeks to enhance through imbuing items via the Force, rather than create items from it. Though not as strong as Dark Side Alchemy, it does allow for the infusing of defensive capabilities to offset the twisted creations of the Dark Side. The items infused, they deduced, were as strong as the individual's combination skills.

In fear of the knowledge falling into the wrong hands, such as torture or betrayal, the skill was only approved to be taught to those religiously in belief of the Order's mandates and culture, on pain of death to those that failed the Order.

Under Gui'le Re'o Naata, a safe fail of the knowledge was instituted into the original Holocron. But before the Holocron was completed under his supervision; he died. His mentee, Dari ' Naata, finished what his mentor started; creating the holoccron with both it's safe fail and the infusion of the Light Sade into the item.

The debate, which still rages on, is the holocron should have never been created, most of the opposition seeking it's destruction in fear of it being corrupted by usurpers. Others, the ruling favoring party, decided the holocron should be delegated to a sole Clan, one that could safely defend and protect the knowledge contained within.

The holocron was then decided upon to be assigned to the protection of Clan Mashayekhi. The key passed from one generation to the next; the item destroyed upon the discretion of the holder.

Those in charge of it's haven, are allowed to read from it; and teach it to those THEY deem worthy.

I've highlighted in red the parts that are contrary to each other.

Your write up for the content section reads as if the Al'chima Holocron is a tool that is being used to imbue items, rather than being a storage device that possesses the know how to pass on to owners. This should be changed to the latter.

  • Gatekeeper: The holocron is in possession of Ro-Tahn Mashayekhi
For a holocron, 'gatekeeper' refers to the Avatar that protects or teaches the information, rather than who is in possession of the holocron.

Ro-Tahn Mashayekhi Ro-Tahn Mashayekhi

Ro-Tahn Mashayekhi Ro-Tahn Mashayekhi

Your content section is good now.

  • Gatekeeper: The holocron is protected by Clan Mashayekhi. The Clan decided to erect a small temple in a cave, far from the village where a Caretaker Droid oversees the holocron. In turn, the droid is protected by Three Combat Droids.
This is still talking about who is in possession of the Holocron, and not the Gatekeeper. I suggest you read the Wookieepedia Holocron article and look for specific mention of a Holocron's Gatekeeper, and go from there.
