The Wheel of Fortune

Grinning as he held [Member="Destiny"]'s hand, he nodded once and began walking with her out of the bar. Walking through the casino tables themselves he easily maneuvered with Destiny. Flashing her another smile and nod as lead the two towards another section of the wheel. "Do tell me though if you get tired," Seto warned as he looked at his own watch for a moment as he maneuvered his way through the hallway. "We can make it," Seto thought out loud to mostly himself.

Tugging lightly he quickly scanned the incoming crowd, he knew his assistant must be around here somewhere, either way though they were bound to meet up sometime tonight. Quickly saving anymore thoughts about his poor assistant for later he focused on finding the club room. The distinct bass beat was soon felt by Seto, his grin growing slightly larger as he finally found the entrance. A line seemed to have formed but Seto simply moved quickly past it, ignoring the glares as he nodded at Destiny for assurance.

Entering into the club itself it quickly resembled a much darker room of the rest of the 'Wheel' but the moving lights and entrancing beat distracted anybody from looking too closely at the room's decor. Seto's own eyes looked around among the several beings and species both mingling and dancing in the room. The music was loud enough that whispering or anything slightly above that would be difficult to hear. The lights kept changing colors along after every few minutes the music changed into another melody and harmony but without dropping the rhythm completely.

Seto, tightening his grip on her hand slightly, turned around and wore a winning smile for her. "One of my business associates told me of an artist he enjoyed would be performing here in a few minutes," Seto explained to Destiny, "Anyways, did you ever learn to dance?" He asked. "If not, I am an excellent teacher," He added, giving her a thumbs up.

((I was waiting on The Cartographer as I wasn't informed he wouldn't be replying after me, and I did not want to skip him))

They were hurtling through hyperspace now. She leaned over and said to the Captain, "Prepare to drop us out of hyperspace on my command. We may be changing our course." The telecommunications officer spoke up saying the Host Lord was attempting communication, and when the Queen waved the request away, he seemed to halt for a moment. The officer seemed stuck between obeying the Queen and obeying the Host Lord's wish to communicate with them. He relinquished, bowed and did as told. "Captain, wire me to Dredge, I have some demands I want to make." The Captain nodded to the telecommunications station, and after a few moments, they would attempt to contact Dredge. The Queen spoke softly, "I have the Cartographer on my ship, and we're en route to Gulamendis. I want ten tonnes of Phrik, I have no care for credits or gems. Until you can confirm you have that, and you show proof, only then will I deliver your bounty. Until then, he is mine. If you do not comply, I will keep him, and he will work for me." She bobbed her head at the Captain, and the ship exploded back into real space. They drifted in the dark unknown void, waiting...

Anja was alerted the moment [member="The Queen"] ignored her communication attempt at which point the Host Lord knew she was up to something. The Queen's own greed was perhaps the most insatiable amongst The Primeval; even more so than Vile. This didn't anger her by any means, but it was testing her patience. Anja had granted her an even greater luxury than the other warlords and that in itself was worth far more than what she was beginning to be worth.

"Ping her again.", the Host Lord ordered her intercom officer; the blockade fleet was waiting just like the Warlord asked -- it seemed this had little to do with them, if it was true that The Queen completely wasted her resources then there would be a great price to pay. More so, once Anja found out this was against another one of her warlords, a faithful ally, it would be a further punishment.

For now waiting was all she could do, wondering of what became of her Warlord, and how she would receive this second attempt to make contact.

As he suspected, it wasn't long before The Queen's lackeys found Bael in his little hiding place. The massive creatures dragged him out of the storage space, clapping energy cuffs on his wrists and a Force collar on his neck. They led him roughly through the vessel, bringing him to the bridge for [member="The Queen"] to see.
He gave her an annoyed expression. "The collar's a bit excessive, don't you think? I'm not exactly a dog..."

Dredge lifted his head back and laughed at the woman loudly, she truly knew how to get what she wanted however unreal it was. It just so happened Dredge had some phrick lying around from his time at the horde. Oocly though the writer had completed the challenge twice by getting his ass kicked by [member="Strider Garon"] on multiple occasions. One of which was getting impaled and the other almost having his arm cut off and almost bleeding to death. He'd give the woman some phrick what in exchange for the little runt but the sheer volume of phrick she asked for could not be acquired unless the primeval controlled a phrick ore planet and had advanced mining operations on it.

Dredge kept laughing until his sides hurt and his laughing fit turned into a coughing one. He had not the time or crayons to explain everything that was wrong with her request or give a retort. So he simply held up a communicator and pressed the button so he could hear her.

"Woman, there is not ten tons of phrick this side of the galaxy. But I have enough phrick with me to perhaps make a few sets of armor. I will use the reward money to set up a phrick contract with a mining company and do my best to see to it you are transferred the rights. Will this please you?" He said trying not to laugh anymore

"Cut it," The Queen spoke to her communications officer. She was not pleased with the creatures response, or his laughter. There were those elsewhere that sought to buy this man off of her, and Dredge clearly was not one who could fulfil her demands. "Captain, take us home." The ship paused, lurched forward and flung through hyperspace after a moment, and it was that time then when the Cartographer reared his head on the bridge in cuffs. She paid no heed, it was Anja's insistence that took precedence for her attention. She answered the call, and waited. Meanwhile the Queen looked to the Cartographer, "I hope you don't think about running again. I hear Gen'Dai can live in vacuum, but I don't think you can. Fate has fallen in your favour today, I will not be delivering you to Dredge. You will come with me, and live a wealthy, long life, if you do as I say."

At that, Bael's eyebrows shot up so far that they nearly touched his hairline. "Well... You certainly know how to keep people guessing, Your Highness. I only hope that I can live up to your expectations." He couldn't have been more relieved to hear that [member="The Queen"] had chosen to keep him instead of give him away. But then that was quickly replaced with nervousness. He had trusted her before all of this had happened, and look at where he'd ended up! Who knew what she would do next? He only hoped that she wouldn't decide to just kill him for fun.

The Holo appeared in front of [member="The Queen"] , two images in fact, one was of Anja and the other clearly of some of her most loyal courtiers back on her base of operations; her agents who lurked in the shadows had struck to hold them hostage.

"You're testing my patience.", she said calmly, there was no anger in her voice but then again an Umbaran rarely showed their true motives, their true feelings. The Host Lord's agents held the barrels of blasters close to the necks and heads of those they held hostage. "Explain why.", she added -- the other Holo to make sure that there would be no dishonesty from her Warlord. Those who tested her would know why it was a bad idea and that is something The Queen needn't forget.

The blockade still remained despite this, out of caution, but depending on what she told Anja could change the facts in a matter of moments.

Dredge tilted his head back and let out another blast of laughter, this didn't even make him laugh. All he did was laugh at what he perceived to be the queens stupidity. To show up make an unrealistic request and then leave without so much as trying to negotiate, it was really cute. Dredge tapped a few buttons on his commlink and hailed Anja

"I have to kill her now, I do hope you can understand host lord." Dredge smiled and walked over to his shuttle, he stepped in and took off making it back to the omen. He had flies to kill

The Host Lord had received the message from [member="Dredge"] but chose not to respond. She simply thought about it, instead. Waiting. Waiting to see what [member="The Queen"] had to say.

*Destiny followed [member="Seto Du Couteau"] through to this place where the lights flashed and the music vibrated through the entirety of her frame. Dance? She had never really needed to know how to dance. This could be a useful skill to know.*

Destiny: "I've never actually danced before, but I am a quick learner."

*As they finally approached the source of the hypnotic lights, Destiny bumped into [member="Ciara"] *

Ciara watched Destiny approach her, and waited for the Queen's response. Destiny bumped into her and Ciara immediately reacted, tapping the side of her helmet, disengaging the extraneous sensors, and looked surprised at Destiny's encounter.

"Excuse you." Ciara sneered,"And your pretty playboy. You get him from the whorehouses of Coruscant?" Ciara smirked underneath the glossy, opaque visor of her modified Clone pilot helmet. In the periphery of her view, she spotted the female server, raising her hand and used her index finger to motion for her to come with the bottle.

OOC Note: I doubt a HRD has the sensor capabilities to detect someone zeroing in their sensors.

*Destiny was rather surprised. She had been distracted and didn't figure that someone would be so rude immediately.*

Destiny: *to [member="Ciara"] * "Pardon me, I've never been to coruscant. I don't want any trouble."

OOC: I can change that, but I was just bumping into you out of circumstance. It would be the increased sensor traffic however that was being noted more so than the actual zeroing in as this is a combat modified HRD as I stated in the bio, but you can consider this a RETCON of the statement I made and I can just add that in as an upgrade to my characters body or whatnot at a later date.

Ciara looked at Destiny once more and received the bottle of tihaar from the server and waved her hand for dismissal. Places her hand on Destiny's shoulder firmly, but forcibly, and looks straight into her eyes from the confines of her helmet. Without turning her head, Ciara states bluntly, "Leave boy.:" [member="Seto Du Couteau"]

OOC: I just wanted that clarification! At the present moment, I think its fine if the context was of what you stated now, rather than what I had thought. I apologize for misunderstanding!

Seto frowned at the other woman, [Member="Ciara"], Playboy from Coruscant? If only I could live in that city and be that lucky Seto mused at his own joke. Rolling his eyes he began to ignore her but then suddenly the same woman shot her hand and grasped [Member="Destiny"]'s shoulder. His eyes further narrowing he moved closer to the woman, unimpressed by her show of force, and to Seto rather uncalled for. If I was fifth-teen I wouldn't mind the boy comment but that was over four years ago He thought angrily to himself. Keeping his arms along the side of his body he cleared his throat once before addressing the woman. "If you have business with this young lady I suggest you wait until my business with her has concluded," Seto suggested sternly. "We can certainly be reasonable," Seto added as an afterthought.

Scoffing at Seto's persistent presence, Ciara locks her eyes with Destiny, looking for hints for her emotions, states sarcastically, "I politely refuse."

Stepping away from Seto with her grasp still on Destiny, Ciara snarls, "Now, return to the crevices of Coruscant in which you were born. And begone, reason is of no personal importance."

She pockets the bottle of tihaar into her utility belt and slowly proceeds to begin walking with Destiny away from the crowded public seating area and into a more private booth. Ciara looks towards Destiny, "If you could follow me without trouble, I would greatly appreciate it."
