DESCRIPTION

Perhaps the second most prized creation of clan Vizsla, right after Death Watch, the Darksaber is a heirloom of high value to the clan tracking its history many eras ago. There are various theories of its inception, especially after the Gulag plague wiped out a lot of valuable information over four centuries. Yet it is mostly believed that the Darksaber belonged to a Tarre Vizsla, a Mandalorian inducted in the Jedi Order of times old. Eventually the Darksaber was stolen from the vaults of the Jedi Order upon Tarre Vizsla's death and became a symbol of Mandalorian unification and power.

In current times, Vizsla's darksaber remained in the hands of clan Vizsla until Amon's departure and subsequent exile from the clan not long after the Red Coronation. Amon stole the Darksaber before departing with motives yet unknown exactly to his own self. Although it has of most recently become his primary weapon, he still expresses reluctance of using it.
