Strengths:

• Shut them down: Due to Katria Vekarr's preference for blockade running and "shoot first, ask later" the Vekarr's Pride has been modified with two fore fin mounted ion cannons.
• Get there in no time: Modified to compensate a 0.5 rating hyperdrive, the Vekarr's Pride can get most places very quickly with minimal delay.
• Stash it: As smugglers Shaden and Kavis Vekarr modified the Vekarr's Pride with smuggling compartments to store cargo illegal or otherwise.

Weaknesses:

• Abandon ship?: Due to extensive modifications the Vekarr's Pride has no escape pods. This makes it very difficult to escape it when severely damaged.
• Power sucker: Due to it's extended armament the Vekarr's Pride uses more power than normal when operating all it's armament in quick succession.
• Volatile warp: Equipped with a 0.5 rating hyperdrive the Vekarr's Pride requires almost constant monitoring of it's hyperdrive by it's on-board engineer. This does not, however, prevent it from failing from time to time.

Description: It was a ship inherited by her uncle Shaden and it was his pride and joy. She was born on it, she grew up on it and it was the closest thing to a home she would ever know. When her father Kavis and uncle Shaden disappeared, however, she was forced to take up the mantle of it's owner and face the responsibility of caring for the ship herself.

When she became a member of the Confederacy of Independent Systems she took to modifying the ship for the very purpose of being as much capable of combat as it was at delivering cargo. She mounted two ion cannons on it's fore fins, Skiss modified the freighters circuitry to compensate and everything from there was history.
