The Turning Point

Asariy Vaé

Guest
'So this must be the man that contacted me.' Asariy stood, looking at the man. He certainly fit the bill of being impressive. The unfortunate part about coming here without any means to defend herself, was the fact that she would be easily killed and no one would know. But, the man radiated power in exuberant amounts, the amount of power that she was striving for.

I was not answered as others joined us. Only by their arguing did another man speak, Enough was enough, I smiled as no one spoke, each one person looked into the shadows of where the voice came from. Even from behind me, I could feel the younger man that was arguing back up and keep his hand on his saber. "I would not do that if I were you Fallen Jedi. Do not argue or speak unless spoken to." This was going to be my only warning to all of the apprentices that were here.

This man here before us was old. Not just old, but Ancient. He was powerful as well. More powerful than some of the other Sith that I had fought in my "enlightened years" But now, I was along side them. The apprentice was being a stuck up. Portraying the sith code, only to back up when he looked like a Jedi. His mind conflicted him, and soon he would learn.

A man that had his face half covered in some aprotic device who was clearly a bruiser. One to take a person on by pure strength. Another Master was in the room with me. Her form leaked her strengths not just as a woman, or a sith, but as a person that would and could manipulate just about anyone in this room.

Speaking for all of us here, I decided to take voice, "What is it that you called us here for My Lord?"

From one shadow to the next, the robed figure seemed to be creating darkness where there once was light. She was there and she was not. Anesia did not seek out direct company with others. The ancient Sith was more of an observer in situations such as these. Much could be learned by this act alone- more than most would give up freely, if asked.

Though many did not hear, nor see the Dark Lord's presence before it arrived, the Sith Lady was accustomed to it. It was not because she was privy to such information, it was just natural to her after all this time. "Kneel," her voice echoed through the Force to each lesser. It was a simple command, no show of power, though it held it indefinitely.

Anesia was not here to impress anyone. She was here to council under the vice guidance of The Dark Lord of the Sith. "Drop your weapons," this time the alchemist's voice sang of certainty and touched upon each ear. They could be disarmed easily enough if that was what was wished. Too many with uncertainty.

The Master moved swiftly through the small throng of guests, not once casting her gaze upon any. "My Lord." She took the head of the Council in and offered a curt nod. It was only then that she passed violet eyes over the only other master in the room. This was a respect thing, one you did not cross.

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
Myra simply stood there. She was no inferior, not to this woman not to anyone else involved here as a part of the Sith Council. The single "Mist" atomizing pistol she had remained holstered, and it wasn't as though she was going to submit to this woman simply because she felt herself superior.

That wasn't her style.

I smiled as the woman Sith master nodded to the Lord who stood before us. She was one who knew him. Looks like I was the third wheel in this relationship already. Nodding my head I decided to keep on both of their good sides. I bowed my head and let myself stay standing. Picking out the weapons that I had, in all to count, I was a walking armory.

Bow with arrows, A Blaster pistol, Sith sword, Lightsaber, My chain belt unraveled from my waist, and two Alchemy Daggers.

The only reason I still stood, was that of I was a man that worked mostly alone. Providing that others may be the same, I yielded the most that my mind would allow. Only to wonder, how long have these two Masters Knew each other.

"Morna," her hand snaked from under her sleeve, voice low and her lips near to press his ear, "that will not be necessary."

Nigh did the Sith Mistress move from her spot, the woman only straightened and aimed those gems for eyes at the pistol toting female. She blinked, those long soft black lashes flirting with high cheekbones. "A rebel among us," pale red lips lifted at the corners, but boredom was laced in her words. "How exciting."

One of few things the Sith Master knew to be intolerable was disrespect, "Your first lesson, child, will be on respect."

"Spare me the staunch theatrics, lest you want to be made an example. Kneel and drop your weapon," the violet eyed woman was at Myra's back now, breath soft and so cold. A part of her wanted this girl to disobey. A very small part, but a part nonetheless. "Or I shall do it for you."

Often times people forgot that they sought this and pretended as though they were forced to be here.

Unfastening my saber from my belt, I dropped it before kneeing before the man and woman, though I kept my focus on the weapon should the need for it arise.
"Perhaps leaving the order was a mistake... What am I doing here," I whispered to myself, then thought of the day I had left the order. The Jedi Masters taking me away from master. They said I was not ready for a master, that I still needed to be with the younglings for a while longer. They underestimated me, underestimated my power.
I was suddebly sure of it once again. Leaving that Order, abandoning my Code, neigh THEIR code, was the right thing to do. Only through the Sith Masters will I achieve true power. Looking up, I gazed at the Sith Master, the Mistress, and the rebellious woman with a pistol. What was she doing? Couldn't she see that she could easily be killed?
I thought to help her but quickly abandoned the thought. THat was a Jedi notion, and I was Jedi no more. If the roles were reversed, she would surely let me die, might even join in on the fun of killing me, so why bother?
Still I watched. Still I waited. I envied those around me. I desired their strength, their mercilessness, their malice, their cruelty.
Their power. I was prepared to do anything to achieve it.

Gryphus' head drifted forward as he peered quizzically at the woman who toted herself as a Sith Master. She entered with few words, only commanding those present to kneel into submission and drop their weapons. What a laughable demand. The last time he dropped his weapons, he found himself strung up by his heels while a bored Mandalorian jailer broke his ribs with a durasteel pipe. It would not happen again.

When another refused her request, the Sith Lady spoke of treachery, calling the other woman a rebel. It was with that, the Mistress threatened action against all who disobeyed. Gry pursed his lips into a sinister grin. What could she do? Dismember him? Shock him to death with Force Lightning? He welcomed these consequences, for pain was an attractive circumstance to young Gryphus Antares.

The boy-Jedi followed in suit, dropping his own weapon to the cold floor. Gry wasn't surprised at such spinelessness.

He turned his attention back to the woman, tempting his fate with immense glee.

"I doubt the woman needs your assistance in dropping her weapons." He paused. "The mere fact that you have the motor skills to walk into a room doesn't make me respect you, so if you're in the business of teaching it, teach me as well."

I stood, using the force to bring my saber to my hand and put it back on my belt. The anger at the Order still pounded in my veins, broadening my senses. I could feel their thoughts. Spineless was how they saw me. A coward. I am no coward.
Anger flooding my body, i turned my gaze towards the man who had scoffed at me earlier. This man stood defiantly, as did the woman with the pistol. They stared at this Sith master as a foe, rather than friend. Learning much from this, I realized there would be no friends here in the Sith. No meaningful ones without a proper struggle.
Clipping my saber on my belt, I ran my right hand through my hair, grinning slightly at the woman.
"Anyone can claim the title of Sith Master. He's right you know. Just because you can walk deserves nothing. Even the fool over there manages it every day. Where's his Sith Master title? Is this all the Sith offer? I'm not impressed," I spoke, motioning towards the man who scoffed at me as I gestured towards the walking fool.

I nodded my head, I showed respect, I kept myself as it were. And all at once the weapons flew to where they belonged on my body. Somehow she knew my name, though I had not spoken it. Pulling my sword from the air of where it floated in the air. I walked over to the Jedi as he knelt then stood, He said that there was one to just claim the title? Now it was time to show if you could jsut call a Master one.

My hand lit up into flames as I stared at the three, Each defiant in the ways of the Sith. "This is the first lesson, Respect is first." I looked to the converted Jedi as he stood there Trying to just follow of a whim. "Kneel and you will not have to have us show you the reasons why we call ourselves Masters of the force." It was rare for a person to have powers such as I had Able to cut a man in half with the air alone, crush him with the power of the ground beneath their feet, and fire to burn them alive.

"If you wish to defy us, then do so with your lives. be sure that you are making the right move. With Three so called Masters, against Apprentices, I do not suspect that you will learn of Respect to your Elders."

"Do not insult me with empty threats about your vast power, My Lord. While it is true that I am a mere neophyte in the Dark Arts, and you would have no struggle in maiming me, I traveled here to learn, not to grovel."

Gry grit his teeth as his temper steadily dissolved. He was not afraid of the power these Sith Masters could bring to bear, but instead he was fascinated by it. This man who spoke to the boy, however, insulted Gry's intelligence with the expectation that he would lessen himself to that of a common worm if it meant proving loyalty. He could prove his loyalty in countless other ways, including dispatching this Jedi and saving these masters the burden of dealing with the fallen naivety of Nero.

"When I arrived, I was willing to pledge my respect to the Master who did not degrade me like a slave. I am not a slave, I am a weapon who is at your disposal. My pride will always be stronger than any power you possess."

Gry knew he was digging himself deeper into the hole, however he was determined to prove to these masters that he was not another meat shield for the cause of the Sith.

"If you must punish me, do so swiftly, for I don't believe we were gathered here for tea."

"See? Even my half robot new pal here is speaking sense. We came here for power, not to be stripped of it. We came to be enlightened, not stupified by your self aserted power. If this baffoon can see it, I'm sure we all will." I spoke, turning my back to the man with the fire hand and nudging the man who had scoffed with my shoulder, bumping into him as rough as I could.
"Watch it, cyborg," I spoke with anger, my eyes staring at his red ones, my saber now in my hand, daring him to make a move.

Gracious, this boy had a mouth.

Gry hardly moved when the boy checked his shoulder, all that resulted of his power play was the sound of flesh hitting metal. He was sure Nero felt it. Gry stood at least a few inches over the boy, and, although he seemed to pack more mass, Gry was sure that he would be no match.

Now he Nero held his saber, as if he was actually looking to start a fight. Gry was perplexed, he had defended the child's good sense to stand up for himself because it vaguely impressed him.

"I'm going to give you a literal ten seconds to back away before I gut you with your own weapon."

Activating my saber the blue blade shone like a torch in the darkness of tjhe sith hall illuminating everything near a dim blue glaze.
"You sure about that cyborg?" I taunted, whirling my blade once before extending my arm, pointing the tip of my blade at the mans face.
I began to circle the man, taking a step each second, long and slow, and I watched him closely waiting for the reaction I knew would come. The activation of his saber. Finally, a duel I might lose. A duel I might die from. The thrill of it flooded my veins, both anger and terror fueling me, perhaps slightly mixed with glee. I waited for his move.@[member="Scarface"]

Nero raised his blade to Gry's face, he could feel the heat from it's brilliant blue blade prod his skin. It was a sensation akin to an open flame. This triggered the memory of his imprisonment. His captors routinely branded and burned his flesh with torches, culminating in him being held down on his back by chains on a warm sunny day, his eyelids pierced by hooks to hold them open so that the searing radiation from the nearby star would blind him.

Instinctively, he swung his own lightsaber up to knock the blade away from him. He followed with a series of vicious strikes in Juyo fashion with the intent to force his way through Nero's probable defense stance.

All other pleasantries aside, "There will be nothing swift about the things I could do to you," she paused, "over tea." A voice of promises yet to come. So he enjoyed pain, Ferrius thought madly. The smile that was sketched upon her lips suddenly went dark.

The Sith Master was a little off kilter in the head, if one could be so bold. Her mind was a strange thing, her passions even stranger. "You seek knowledge and power. YOU. These are things we already have. WE are willing to share, beautiful," Anesia was still at Myra's backside, awaiting an answer, but she spoke to Gryphus.

"What harm is there, truly, Gryphus Antares, to kneel and offer your presence unarmed to those you came to learn from?" Anesia said silkily, "It is but a mere price to pay for what you gain in return. Tell me."

One simple flourish of her arm, and she meant to send Nero flying into the nearest pillar with Force Push. He was on guard, but not to her. It would come as unexpected. This was not a killing gesture, but one meant to make him come to his senses. The same was done to Gryphus using her opposing hand.

Gryphus' onslaught was immediately interrupted as he was flung from the floor and into the pillar. His back met the wall with an audible crack as adrenaline surged through his body. He quickly leaped to his feet and popped his neck from side to side. With a quick moment to catch his breath, he propelled himself at Nero, pulling his lightsaber back to his open palm with the Force. He was not concerned with the Sith Lady's own attack, as he now had a dedicated query. While in the air, Gry raised his blade, aiming to bring it down on Nero's head.

"This fight is between I and him Mistress. PLease let it remain as such," I requested, standing shakily to my feet, activating my saber once more.
Seeing the cyborg in the air, I raised my saber just in time to block the lethal blow. As he was landing to his feet I raised my right leg and kicked out as hard as I could and payed a price of pain. Mainly metal, the man was heavier than I though and my hard push only gave a couple of inches if that much. Stepping back shacken, I raised my saber again once more, the blade pointed at the man and I was ready now for the attack.
Firmlystepping forward I swung hard to the cyborgs right, aiming at his shoulder. A predictable move, but a reliable one.

Gry felt Nero's foot smack against the plate on his leg. It was a diversionary tactic at best which allowed him to escape the line of assault. Now on their feet again, the boy and the man faced off. Gryphus coupled Nero's strike to his shoulder with a simple counter maneuver which now placed him a few feet to the immediate left. He raised his weapon parallel to the floor and swung in a deceivingly controlled motion in order to throw the boy off balance. Next he began to move forward, swinging heavy blows as he did so. It appeared as though he had a chance to gain the upper hand.

Off balance and the cyborg sending many swings at me, very powerful ones at that, I did my best to keep the blade frm hitting me, deflecting the blows narrowly a few times.
My heart racing in my chest, I pushed the man back only an inch or two at best with my hardest push with the Force, my right arm even feeling weakened from the attempt.
Picking up the strength in my blows as well, I began to feel tired quickly, the cyborg to fast and powerful for me to overcome. I could see that clearly now. All I could do was stall the inevitable.
Backing up as I parried his blows, I knew this would not end well, my back almost against the wall, I began to understand I may not leave alive.
