"Normal spiders are fine. Even the Krykna aren't that bad." Perhaps inspired, or just because it was a usual thing for Aliris, she plucked up one of the cats that had walked close to her, idly settling them in her lap so she could pet over them. They were one of the few that enjoyed such a pampering. "It's more the Sithspawn variations. Grant it, I think they're supposed to be scary more often than not, but they're still quite spooky when you're searching through tombs."

She really didn't like trying to deal with any kind of Sithspawn in truth, but it was the spiders she disliked the most. "Undead themselves are fine. It's more who they were that's troubling. They don't even get to find peace in death when they're puppetted like that." Her smile saddened a bit as she continued to pet over the Loth Cat on her lap. She knew all too well what she had done before.

Braze didn't like the talk of spiders one bit, and he shifted uncomfortably a few times, feeling that sinking, crawling, unsettling sensation bubble up in the pit of his stomach.

"Hey, uh… have you been to the temple here yet? I think I heard that Jalen Kai'el was doing stuff out here, yeah? Maybe we could head there and take a look around? I'm curious to see what all's been going on." Braze offered softly.

And he really wanted a different topic than spiders. Anything but spiders was a good thing for him. He rather liked a wide array of animals but there was something deep in his psyche attached to the imagery of spiders that unsettled him in a way that made it very difficult to think straight.

"I haven't been, and I feel a little bad knowing there's been so much done out here. Think you can show me around, Aliris?" he asked curiously, moving to stand with a stretch.
